Training Attended: Fill & Download for Free

Earlier today I tubed it into Central London to meet some miserable investment bankers, something I used to do daily for 8 years.The depressing commute, as well as the depressing investment bankers, is what I didn't like about London.Anyway, so I'm on the platform and a well dressed gentleman is standing near the edge of the platform, tapping away on his phone, while the train is about to depart.The train attendant announces "Please could you stand behind the yellow line, including the gentleman running his global empire from his phone. You may carry on doing so, but from behind the yellow line."There were a few smirks. I was almost on the floor."When a man is tired of London he is tired of life" Samuel Johnson.I miss London, it's an incredible city.

This was my laptop during my engineering days. I had bought it back in 2010 during my visit to USA and had been using it for four years when I started my engineering in Computer Science.There isn't any such specification to talk about. I had bought this one keeping in mind that I should be able to perform the basic stuffs on it, which was coding and should be able to store good amount of data on it. The specifications included were:2 GB RAM.500 GB Hard Disk.Intel Celeron.It came with pre-installed Windows 7 and Microsoft Office but apart from that, there were nothing else to boast about it. When I bought it, it costed only $ 353 (Rs 16,500 back at that time). And yet, it had been my companion all the time. I used it during my trainings, attending webinars and during coding competitions.It worked perfectly well till my fourth year of engineering i.e. 2018. I worked on it for my college projects, trainings, basically everything. During my second year I shifted from Windows to Ubuntu since it offered a better coding environment.Unfortunately good things too come to an end. In the second half of 2018 the laptop started to slow down. But I didn't have the heart to part away with it so soon. I kept on dragging the life of it till it finally gave up in 2020. I have still kept it in perfect condition, near my workspace only because it had been a great companion during the last four years of my school life and the four years of engineering.

I was on 14 hour train to Paris from Rome overnight.For whatever reason, the cabin I was supposed to be sleeping in was occupied by another family. They were American and had decided to pack all the kids (5) into one cabin.There was one empty bed and the train attendant asked if I could sleep in it.The mother insisted that she ABSOLUTELY would not allow some man to sleep in the train car with them.So I had to sleep on the floor outside.I have no question a woman would have been allowed in by the mother.Am I offended? No.Here’s the thing — I would more be likely to let a female stranger sleep near children than a male stranger.Still, it was fucking freezing.
