In my corporate life I had to write a monthly report and send it in within 5 working days of the month’s end.Microsoft Excel is a fantastic product and whilst there are people way smarter than me who exploit its potential more than I can, I used it to great effect. I set up a report template that linked back to a spreadsheet that contained my state’s raw sales and expenditure data. It took some time to set up but then all I had to do was input my raw data and Excel would populate my entire report with my numbers and colourful graphs.
