The astable is a classic analogue circuit and every student of electronics should know it, even though it’s not used very much in this form today. Here’s a circuit:To understand its operation, first let’s assume that it is running normally, and the transistor TR1 is ON, and the other, TR2 is OFF.When TR1 is ON, the collector is close to 0v, so C1 is charging via R2. When the voltage at R2/C1 reaches 0.6V, TR2 turns ON. This brings the collector of TR2 to 0v, and this momentarily diverts current through C2 to turn OFF TR1. When TR1 turns OFF, its collector voltage goes to +Vcc (9V here). Now the charge across C1 is reversed, causing a brief current that further forces TR2 ON. However, the voltage at R2/C1 (or R3/C2) can never exceed 0.6v, so C1 now quickly charges via R1 but having the opposite sign to its previous state. With TR2 ON, C2 begins to charge through R3 until it reaches 0.6v, which turns on TR1, turning off TR2, and the cycle is back at the beginning. The circuit constantly oscillates with TR1 and TR2 turning on and off in anti-phase.We also might think about what happens when power is first applied. You might think that C1 and C2 start to charge at the same time, and will both reach 0.6 v together, turning on both TR1 and TR2 together. In fact this is often observed, but there will always be some small asymmetry which is very quickly amplified by the overall positive feedback, and the circuit will start to oscillate readily.

I attended TCS national Qualifier Test 2018 in Kolkata and fortunately got through.You can easily make into TCS as they recruit in mass .If you are able to clear their online aptitude process then your Job is almost done .The online test was held at TCS Gitobitan,Secter-5.After 4 to 5 days we got the result through our college.Each candidate who has cleared the test got a mail from TCS. It was the invitation for attending the further interview processes.We went to the venue(TCS Gitanjali park) submitted our CV and a copy of application. Please have a seat.[Thank you sir]TR1: Okay..Tell me about Yourself.[I was a bit nervoused][Started telling about myself,my college,my hobbies]HR: So,you are trained in Bharatnatyam….!!(interrupting me)[Yes ma’am]TR1: Do you know Mallaripu?(eagerly)[No sir.I named some kind of dance forms of Bharatnatyam]HR: Do you know any other dance form of Tamilnadu?[Kathhak](murmuring,I was not sure)HR: No,Kathhak is not from Tamilnadu.[Okay.Ma’am]TR1: So,Tanaya..Tell me what is your area of interest?(smiling)[I am good in Data Structure and DBMS sir]TR1: Do you know what is getch()?[tell them about getch() function and try to maintain eye contact with the three recruiters]TR1: Do you know clrscr?[no sir,I do not know]HR: Tanaya , Why your marks are low in 10+2 ?[explained what was the problem I have faced] (nervous)HR: So,you can’t manage time when the pressure is high!!!We don’t need that kind of employee in our companyHR: (got satisfied with my answer)TR1: which is best JAVA or C?[Immediately tell them the features]TR 1:(with a smiling face)Okay..Do you know some OOPs Concepts?[tell them about Polymorphism, Inheritance,Encapsulation etc]TR1: (interrupting me)What is Inheritance?[tell them with a smile]TR1: tell the difference between NULL pointer and VOID pointer?[tell them instantly]TR1: (smiles)you told me your favourite subject is DBMS..so tell me what is cardinality and degree in DBMS?[Damn.I read all the very basic questions of DBMS and easily gave them answers]TR1: (smiles with my correct answers) do you know what does having clause and where clause do?[tell them with a example]TR1: What is Normalisation?[tell them instantly as It was my favourite part]TR1: (smiles)now I can see you are doing some projects on a very interesting topic … blockchain!…. So , What is blockchain?[give a brief description and also tell them about the implementation of blockchain in my project]TR1: (showing interest) ohh.. you have done another course in Data Science? So, What does Data Scientist do?[tell them ](now finally TR2 speaks out)TR2: Write a code of factorial using recursion.[okay sir,I can try and did it]TR2: Well . Do you know the difference between method overridding and method overloading?[tell them with a example]TR2: Okay..( and started asking some puzzle Questions on my project and started confusing me)[somehow I managed myself and give them partially satisfied answers]TR2: (got happy as I tell him about TCS blockchain project)HR: Now .. tell me do you have any location preference?[obviously the answer is NO]HR: Do you have any prob in working in the night shift?[tell them]HR: If I tell you to work 5 hours more,Will you be able to do this?[tell them with a smile](she confused me by giving some more situations but i handled them nicely)TR1: okay then..alright you can go…(smiles)[thank you sir , thank you ma’am …(smiles) It was nice talking to you]they smiles.After that the coordinator told me to leave for the day.Don’t get nervous if your documents didn't get verified.Be confident!All the very best!
