Yeah I KNOW they know animals eat animals..and I know you know this. However eventually we are not going to be able to eat animals. PETA knows this, and also knows that the fact our world is becoming severely overpopulated at a high rate, we are not able to sustain it. Animals eating animals is called the circle of life, they do not normally eat each other into extinction, hunt for sport, make anything suffer the way we do, or be excessive in wasting animals, throwing away perfectly good food, cause they are “too full”, then go a couple of hours and order or cook more meat as a human does. Our habits and gluttonous ways might be able to be supported if there were not so many people, but alas, unlike animals, we do not have a predator. WE as a human race are responsible for the mass human deaths each year that is from our own recklessness, greed(the most of the world having so much money they could never spend it all you know the one-percenters while others starve )or senseless violence or actually killing ourselves or others. Outside of that it is just nature like natural disasters and eventual illness that we have not yet found cures for(and as harsh as it might sound perhaps were not meant to find cures for, because if more people were dying at least the population of the world is in some way going in its own natural circle!)DO animals do any of these things? This is PETA's stance, its point, and its reason for the extremes they take. Now all that in mind I do list below again links and some cons about PETA and I am not a vegan. If you continue to read below I am still taking steps to go meat-free, I am however very aware of where I get my meat from, and I think being vegan is necessary, but yes I will miss a burger or tacos as much as anyone, but if you just are not excessive in your lifestyle and you push the places you buy off of to smarten up and not waste, and not order those eight types of meat on every pizza you sure are helping and trust me you can live without it.So animals eating other animals is not PETA's problem…PETA is trying to show the world we have two major problems,Overpopulation of people who do not bother to discipline themselves into having a smaller impact on the world they live in, and we have no impactful plans in place or laws enforced to change that attitude and wastefulness.2. Big food franchise and companies that test on animals because obviously it is unethical, and it WASTES animals' lives further, franchises like Macdonalds or steakhouses that throw out all kinds of meat that is not cooked right, dropped on the floor, or just not eaten on the pates. I think the people living in well-developed countries are a little bit too comfortable. THINK about this now please just bear with me and try to think about what we all are doing We all order take out, we all drive cars, have toilets that flush, are provided with shelter, heat,food,too many things to entertain us, an education, we shop, buy presents for days of the year that really do not even require giving gifts and I say gifts because yeah people give more than one most times. Ok so now that you have thought of all that stuff we take for granted THINK about the 1930s when your grandparents grew up, or about places in the world right now that still do not have even half of these luxuries, now THINK again and imagine where you want your children to be in 2070? AND YA YOU WILL PROBABLY BE DEAD SO YOU SAY WHY DOES IT MATTER? Well is your existence all that really matters in all the history of time? If you think that, well hell if you think that you probably never kept reading until now anyway! It is really self-centered, selfish, and you do not really love plants and animals, and your family name you want to be carried on. It’s thought that the killing of intestinal bacteria may be responsible for these increases in weight.Routine doses of antibiotics are also often used by factory farms as a prophylactic measure, minimizing the likelihood of disease outbreaks encouraged by crowding and poor hygiene.In Australia, subtherapeutic antibiotic doses are regularly given to cattle and pigs, while the chicken industry only uses them for therapeutic purposes. Kept in sheds that may have poor ventilation, they are exposed to high concentrations of ammonia from their own waste products. Bred and fed to put on weight very quickly, they are ready for slaughter in only 45 days. Unfortunately, their bones are unable to grow fast enough and their legs can collapse under their own weight. Without the ability to access food and water, they are certain to die.Pigs are highly intelligent and very social animals, which means close confinement is particularly difficult for them. Like broiler chickens, pigs are sensitive to heat. When in group pens, they may sometimes bite off one another’s tails in desperation. Surgery carried out on pigs to prevent them from harming one another includes tail docking and teeth clipping.A pregnant sow is commonly kept in a dry sow stall that’s only slightly larger than her body, preventing her from turning around or lying down properly. No bedding is provided and she must make do with a concrete floor. Before giving birth, she is later moved to a similar farrowing crate. Defenders of these practices claim the crate prevents the sow from crushing her piglets.I am not here to tell anyone how to live but if that last picture does not speak volumes to you, picture it as a steak and tell me your mouth is watering?
