Most Experts are of the opinion that Ashwin should have given a warning first to uphold the Spirit of the Game.And, the same has been followed over the years across the World.But is it right ?Why doesn’t the batsman uphold the Spirit of the Game by not trying to steal a run even before the ball has left the hand of the bowler.Why give the Batsman benefit of Doubt when he is trying to gain unfair advantage at the first place.And, to all the people saying that what if it was a India & Pakistan encounter and the same would have happened to Virat Kohli, how would you have reacted.I would say to all those people, Imagine Pakistan needing last run on the last ball in the world cup finals against India and Sarfaraz tries to run before the ball has been bowled.Is it Fair ? I don’t think So.Now, this calls for a review to the Spirit of the Game rule book !
