There are many kinds of calculations for declaring Rahul Gandhi as president of Congress party.It is presumed by Congress leaders that Rahul is going to win the Gujarat elections. This is because Rahul has left reading lecture from written paper but is speaking extempore. This is considered as a great feat.(sarcasm)Deep inside their heart they are not confident about victory. They are afraid of a debacle. They know that after the Gujarat debacle Rahul Gandhi will be held responsible for the epic defeat. Then they can’t declare him president as there will be some resistance from within the party. Perhaps rebellion or a rift may also take place in the party. Then it becomes difficult to declare a failed leader as president.After so much hue and cry and so much expenses in Gujarat, if it is lost utterly, then party has to analyse the reasons for defeat and do damage control for the ensuing elections in MP, Karnataka and Rajasthan in 2018. Under those circumstances it becomesshameful and highly difficult to alleviate a failed leader to a superior post. It will be equal to rewarding a student on failing matriculation.Congress leaders are fearfull of rise some new leadership which may sideline weak leaders like Rahul Gandhi and may takeover leadership aggressively. In order to avoid this they have to declare Rahul as president at the earliest.If they miss this time, then time for Rahul Gandhi does not come in life.They think that declaring Rahul as president will attract those voters who are sitting on fence and patidar voters who have been given a lollipop of reservation, thus that will lead them to get majority.(although it is very difficult for congress party to cover 10% gap in voteshare of BJP and congress party.)Almost 4–5 pre-poll opinion polls have been declared by various agencies, but Congress does not win a single survey.This is an epic example of the medieval feudal system culminating into coronation of a failed prince to the supreme post signifying existence of dynasty rule.

I will not take Rahul seriously as he is just a mask for his peers. Recently, he was caught on camera with a chit which was passed to him by his college during a press conference held to conclude Gujrat election results.“Politics of anger” phrase here is only used to continue the blame game. It is meaningless when seen in a larger context.
