What made you choose Mac as a personal Or Work computer?There is a ton of questions about why people have chosen an Apple Computer, over a Windows Box.First I was introduced to Windows (Panasonic Toughbook) in the Military, and all though Hardware was “tough” and took a beating, the Windows Software was UN-predictable.After my first Military tour, I bought an HP Laptop, then an Alien laptop, then a Sony, and then a travel only HP Pavilion DM1z 12" AMD (still have it), and have also used all Versions of the HP Desktop’s Box’s, in and under different working environments.In the last 12 years, I also bought and have Upgraded my iMac’s (for my own work station), and Laptop’s (still have a 2004 Mac Book 15-inch, All Aluminum, on Tiger OS), and it is not only Sleek and beautiful, it starts up 70% faster than the HP Pavilion DM1z 12" AMD, which is not only “newer”, and was suppose to be a “Rocket”, but I believe that they were intentionally comparing to other Windows laptops, NOT Mac’s.Historically, Windows CEO jumped the gun on Apple, and was aggressive in the their Marketing, across Multiple Channels, from the Corporate World to Wall-street to the US GOV … and “pan-handled” CS Developers for Applications & Software developing and competing for a position with Microsoft.They were in a big hurry to appease their biggest Customers, he Corporate World to Wall-street to the US GOV … Because the Contracts and Profits were HUUUUUUGE.Before I go on … I must point out that choosing ANY OS is Subject to it’s intended use … a case in-point, as an Author, Physician, Scientist, Artist, Photographer, International Traveler, etc … Naturally, Macintosh manufactures their own proprietary iOS/OSX, Hardware and Product Lines that satisfied my current needs … with little Maintenance and upkeep, compared to Window Boxes.
