How do I get my social security number online and not have to wait to receive a new card in the mail?

I’m not sure from the question whether you have a social-security number, but don’t know what it is, or whether you want to get one for the first time. In either case, you can’t find out your number or print a card online. If you have a number already and have a My Social Security account online, you can print your benefit letter while you wait if you need immediate proof;then you can order a replacement card if you meet these requirements:Are a U.S. citizen age 18 or older with a U.S. mailing address (this includes APO, FPO, and DPO addresses); Are not requesting a name change or any other change to your card; andHave a driver's license or a state-issued identification card from one of the following:Arizona;Arkansas;California;Delaware (driver's license only);District of Columbia;Florida;Idaho;Illinois;Indiana;Iowa;Kentucky;Maine;Maryland. If you don’t meet those criteria, then you have to order by mail or in person. To obtain a new card, you must fill out an SS-5 application form and you will receive the card by mail. Refer to this web site for details: Social Security Number and CardYou can probably obtain your number by taking ID to a local Social Security Administration office (I don’t know for sure). Lookup your local office here, or call 1-800-772-1213.

How can you tell if a soldier is fake?

It’s much easier answer that if you’ve been in the military and if that possible impersonator is pretending to be in the same branch. Not everyone has intimate knowledge of the other branches they did not serve in. It’s much more difficult for civilians or civilians that never served. An easy way is if they are in uniform they should have military ID. If they are in civilian clothing they should still have some form of military ID or even VA card. I actually have a copy of my DD214 on my phone (don’t judge).Other ways is that these people usually have stories of bloody glory and valor. Their body count is always a great bragging point. Most people that serve or have served will only talk about combat with other veterans. I was a medic and I had to take life in the name of my country but I have never discussed this with anyone in my family or love interests except my fiancé (at the time). I’ve lost three brothers and someone I called “My Best Friend”. They died on foreign soil. I have nothing in my memory about combat that I want to relive much less tell stories about. The last time I had a serious thought about them was on Veterans Day.Almost all stolen valor persons will not know the lingo or certain facts about where they served. Things like MOS, ETS and unit are foreign to them. That’s something every soldier knows. I recall being in Nashville, a city close to Ft. Campbell, with friends and we heard a guy at a restaraunt waiting next to us at the entrance. He had a green shirt with a beret on it. I think he was with some out of town friends. Guess what? He was a green beret! Or so he was telling his friends. We started to talk to him I’m sure he did some research because he had some of the information correct. We asked him what unit he was in and he said “Five”. We smiled cause we knew we had him. “Five what”? He pondered and said, “Five at the 101” he looked it up but usually when you ask an SF soldier where he isn’t stationed in Ft. Campbell he’ll say “The 5th SFG” or just “5th”. We actually started to get into an argument about it. His friends defended him by repeating stories he told? Then we asked a very simple question that someone stationed at Ft. Campbell would know but not readily available on most websites. What was the name of the town right outside the front gates and what store was right across the street? He couldn’t answer either and by then his friends actually stopped defending him. One even asked him if he was bullshitting them for the past 2 years.Of course you may not know those things either. Just because you see a uniform doesn’t mean whose wearing it is a soldier. They’re actually easy to get along with medals. Just question the person that’s telling stories and their possible motivation why. I actually caught an actual veteran soldier bragging about stories of husband experience in combat. He did this for the first month of class. My friends knew I was a veteran but it was nothing I thought was important to reveal in college to my classmates. I knew he was an actual veteran as I even seen this pudgy littl bastard in the VA office on campus. His exploits though about sneaking around in the dark and him is squad of 6 people lurking around eliminating gaurds was really ridiculous. Even in class (anatomy) when he would ask a question about an organ and remark, “oh I should having been stabbing them there” after the professor answered. That was my tipping point. Everyone was tryin to be respectful because he was a veteran, even the professor. I finally asked him, loud enough for everyone to hear, in the middle of lecture, “man your so full of shit! What was your MOS and what unit were you in”? Everyone was kinda shocked except my friends. I kind of like confrontation. He looked and asked me kind of stunned and all eyes on him, “why? What was yours”? I answered without hesitation and we all waited for him to answer. Even the professor. His MOS put him as a nurse, he was a butter bar, and he gave me a unit I didn’t recognize. I had to ask him where the hell that unit was at. He named a smaller town close to campus. My female friend, I was so happy she could type so fast, actually said out loud raised her phone after her search and announced he was in the National Gaurd. He got really upset when the professor even laugh and didn’t even try to calm the class down. He just told everyone to take a break. He avoided me like the plague but tried using his rank against me when we ran into the VA office and all his bragging stopped. In this case what gave it away is, even though he did serve, he did the typical mistake all stolen valor candidates make: Brag about killing and combat. There have been people though wrongfully accused of stolen valor but I don’t think any of them mind being tested. I have been accused twice myself. I was given 2 weeks leave when I was stationed at Ft. Campbell but I had to pull CQ duty the day before. I had everything in my car ready to go and I decided as soon as duty ended I would just drive straight through to Texas without changing and showering. I used my uniform twice to my advantage to get out of tickets (still, don’t judge). I mad a stop at a gas station not used to seeing military and I went inside to restock. I didn’t think of taking my cover off when I entered. I can feel people eyeballing me but my goal was: pee, beef jerky, Diet Coke. While I was in line a good ole boy wearing a ragged T-shirt with a bulldog marine logo on it said to everyone but addressing me, “boy, if you were really in the army you would know by now to take your cover off”. I ignored him. Waited for the person in front of me to pay. Listened to him talk about how someone like me should just join the navy if I wanted to wear a uniform. Then I payed and ignored the dirty look I got from the cashier and started to walk out. Just before I walked out and before that good ole boy could finish his sentence about where I could find a recruiting office I lifted up my top and showed him my firearm that I carried with me. He smirked at me and said, “we’ll all right then sergeant, you have a safe teip”. I smiled and replied, “thank you for your service, Semoer Fi”. I kind of was surprised that no one freaked out that I had a gun but this was Arkansa and the good ole boy wasn’t feeling threatened. I know, technaically, you can keep your cover on when your armed but I don’t think a .40 stuffed down the front of your bottoms counted but that former marine understood why I showed it to him. Not as a threat but to let him know I was within regulations (kind of). Basically, if your armed you can keep your cover on in doors.Funny story before I finish. I was in California and they had a small 4th of July parade in this town close by. They had advertised “Defender Of Freedom Throughout the Ages”. I really appreciated the WWII uniforms the most. I went with friends. Two of them were veterans. There was a eatary that gave discount to veterans so we of course decided to patronage the diner. During our meal four actors from the parade entered wearing US colonial uniforms from the Revolutionary War during the 1700’s. My friend immediately jumped from his seat slamming his chair against the wall and clinging plates and utensils on our table. He pointed angerly at the 4 actors in costume and with a mouthful of food that sprayed us as he yelled, “STOLEN VALOR”! The entire place laughed for a good minute and he got a free meal.

Can you order guns online?

I have bought several guns through online auctions, and directly from online retailers. The procedure is exceedingly similar. If I win an auction, or press “buy now” on the online retailer’s page, they want to know where to ship the gun. Gunbroker (online auction) has a list of pre-vetted FFLs. Many larger online shops do too. Or you may have an FFL you like to use. Each FFL will have his own fee for the transfer, and that’ll be posted. Some vary from $20 (for vets and first responders), to $50 if the FFL isn’t all that interested in doing the transfer. If they are pre-vetted, it means the seller already has a copy of their current and valid credentials. If not pre-vetted, your FFL will have to fax or send a scanned copy of his credentials to the seller. That FFL also has to be in your state of residence. If you live on the Arkansas side of Texarkana, you can’t use a Texas FFL, even if he’s literally across the street from you.Somewhere in this process you also arrange payment. For the auctions, I send US Postal Money Orders. For online retailers, I use a credit card.Regardless how the seller has obtained the FFL’s address, that address is the ONLY place the seller will ship the gun.Once the FFL has received the gun, you go to that FFL, and go through the same vetting of YOUR credentials as if the FFL had sold you the gun. Same background check, same 4473 form, same having to have valid ID … just as if the FFL sold you the gun out of his display case. Then you take the gun home with you, presuming your state doesn’t have some sort of waiting period. If so, then your waiting period starts when you appear at the FFL the first time, not the 5–10 days prior when you paid for the gun online. Don’t blame me, those guys in those states voted for those politicians.

Comments from Our Customers

I like that fact that CocoDoc is very easy to use, for both parties. When I send a contract for signature using this software, I get it back form the signer in a very short period of time, as opposed to the signer having to print the contract out, sign it, then scan and email back. This way they are motivated to get it done immediately.
