If you are demonstrably being a tool and putting other people in danger, then the officer will search their mental rolodex, find a law which covers the specific form of toolery you are indulging in, and nick you for that.But you can get away with all sorts of minor infractions providing you aren’t being a tool about it, because it simply isn’t in the public interest to prosecute you. The upshot of all this is that if you choose to go for a jog twice a day, then nobody is going to care providing you make reasonable efforts to keep the requisite 2m away from anyone else.Behave like a responsible citizen and they will leave you alone, but if you leave the house every morning at 8am wearing lycra and a pair of trainers and don’t return until 6pm, then you’re going to get nicked just for taking the piss.
