Dating and Relationships in College: Is getting a questionnaire filled by a girl too lame an excuse to make conversation?

This has a 93% probability of being totally lame.Exceptions being the rare girl who might appreciate a nerdy gesture like writing a cute, personalized questionnaire that shows off your wit while at the same time eliciting some giggles. You'd have to be clear you wrote the questionnaire with the intent of getting her attention, and make it fun, otherwise it'll just be a corny pretense. As Eric Pepke pointed out, just talking to her is a pretty good approach. If you haven't really "met" then just go up and introduce yourself and see where the conversation goes. If you already know each other a little bit just strike up a conversation. Concoct something fun you can do together in a social setting and just ask her out. If you're a little on the shy side you can still express your intent by complimenting her on something. She'll get it.That said, if you're going to "strategize", screw the questionnaire and go all in. There is plenty of psychology out there to take advantage of women's "weaknesses", not the least of which is to present yourself in a context that makes you more desirable (getting the attention of other women), being her savior (rescuing her from a less attractive male who is giving her unwanted attention), showing extreme interest in one of her close friends to elicit competition, etc.But please don't do that. The world has enough dirtbags. I say just go talk to her.

What is the best or tastiest food you've had in your life, apart from your mom's food?

It is funny that your question took me back to a time fifteen years ago.The family was on a mission - I was being taken to CMC, Vellore to diagnose the mysterious ailment that was plaguing me. Fellow passengers in the car were my hubby, kids, brother (the doctor alumnus of CMC) and my parents. To get a headstart on things, my brother was appraising himself of my symptoms and had just about reached the point where he asked me about my appetite. At that strategic moment, before I could answer the question, the driver stopped in front of a small hotel in Dharmapuri (half-way between Salem and Vellore) and suggested we all stop there for some food, otherwise we may have to wait a long, long time, he threatened. We were apprehensive looking at the size of the hotel which was like a hut. The driver averred that the food served there was the best he had ever had in his life. We took a chance and all of us trooped in for whatever it was worth.I must say the crispness of the dosa, the flavor of the sambhaar, the delicious spice in the chutneys, the aroma of the rasam....nobody spoke a word...even my fussy daughter wanted more, Sid who had just embarked on his culinary choices in life wanted some of everything and more, hubby was mesmerized and wanted my mom to replicate everything when we returned home, I was the impatient patient that wanted a finger in every pie....After a finger-licking gobsmackingly delicious, ridiculously inexpensive meal a satisfied lot returned to car...Back to the questionnaire.... My brother said, "We can skip the appetite question. I saw how much you eat..." Some other answer I shall tell all about my CMC experience...it was hilarious - and no, they couldn't diagnose me either!
