I’m not aware of any health benefits at all. Grape seed oil has a high smoking point so it’s useful for high temperature (searing) applications and it’s neutral in flavor. That’s the most I can say for it.

While working at Best Buy, a guy came in and asked me where he could find the "wireless HDMI cables".I explained to him that wireless HDMI cables didn't exist, however, I was happy to help him figure out exactly what he needed.He rolled his eyes, then said, "I want to talk to a man. He'll know what I'm looking for."Being as friendly as possible, I smiled and said, "Yes, let's go over to Home Theater."I approached a coworker and said, "This gentleman is looking for a wireless HDMI cable."My colleague looked at me funny, because we both knew it wasn't 'a thing', and he thought I was messing with him.The customer looked proudly at the guy behind the counter, stating, "My cell phone packaging said there was a wireless HDMI cable I could buy to use with my phone, so I can put stuff on my TV. She says there's no such thing as a wireless HDMI cable, but Verizon makes it... so let me get one of those."My colleague had to spend 5 minutes explaining to this guy that he was probably thinking of a wireless dongle that could act as a receiver between the phone and the TV, but he was almost positive the TV had to already be 'Smart' capable with an application loaded up on it (so they could connect via the dongle.)The customer kept saying, "No no, Verizon makes it and you guys sell Verizon stuff. I don't have a TV with applications and you're just trying to sell me more things that I don't need!"The guy stormed off and left the store.[edit: This was back in 2009. If it seems like by today's standards that we WOULD have this technology, then please note this was almost 10 years ago.]

Right after I graduated from college, I was living in Austin, TX. I got an opportunity to interview with Mutual of Omaha for a computer job. They had the application process down to a science. They would put me up in the on-campus dorm they used when agents came in for training. I would interview with six people on Saturday, bing, bing, bing. And I would fly up on Friday afternoon and fly back on Saturday evening.On Braniff.For those that might remember, Braniff International was a major airline until it closed in the early 1980s. They treated the passengers like royalty, the stewardesses were smokin’ hawt…..and they could NOT get your luggage to the same place you were going.Needless to say, I dressed comfortably for the trip. with my suit in the suitcase that never showed up on the carousel. I reported it and waited, gave them the address of the dorm and my schedule, waited some more, then took the taxi to the dorm. No suitcase. Woke up the next morning, showered, put on my travelling clothes and went to the interview.I walked in, introduced myself to the receptionist, and the first words out of her mouth were “Flew Braniff, didn’t you?”. It really set me back for a moment.But I heard that phrase from every single person I interviewed with as well. It was apparently a commonplace thing, and my worries about not looking sharp for the interviews disappeared quickly. I went through the interviews, we all had some laughs about Braniff, and I flew back home.The suitcase arrived at my home three days later.
