Both Debbie Rowe and Karen Faye , who knew Michael Jackson since the early '80's, confirmed that Michael could go without sleep for 3 or 4 days, especially when he was on tour , as his adrenaline levels after a show were so high and needed several days to come down. His bodyguards confirmed that they witnessed plenty of his sleeplessness during the time they worked for him. NO illegal substances such as cocaine , heroin or pot , were found in his system other than the ones Dr Murray administered to him, for which he was convicted of negligence , got the maximum sentence and had deservedly his medical diploma revoked. Klein retorted to Pfeiffer that he, Klein, knew what he was doing and that Pfeiffer should keep his mouth shut.” Klein was almost broke before Michael, who was under tremendous pressure preparing for his comeback tour This is it, became his patient again. At the Conrad Murray trial, the defendant’s lawyers did their best to shift attention from Murray’s propofol to Klein’s Demerol. Several experts and commentators agreed that the doses Jackson received were excessive. Klein later said that Jackson couldn’t take the pain of a Botox injection—thus the Demerol—and that the dosages he approved were absolutely justified. In the first three weeks of June, Jackson received seven more Demerol injections in Klein’s office, more often than not getting 200 milligrams in a single day’s visit. On Jackson’s last visit, three days before his death, Klein’s medical records show, he received 100 milligrams of Demerol. Jackson was a gold mine for Klein whose income had dwindled from 20.000 $ a day in 2004 to 30.000 $ a month in 2008. Jackson spent several thousands on Klein ( and for Demerol) monthly.Michael Jackson NEVER hid his addiction to opioid painkillers. On the contrary he was vocal about his prescription drug abuse history. He issued a public statement in 1993 when he openly spoke about it , for which he cut short his Dangerous Tour and went to rehab. Karen Faye tearfully said in an interview that it was then that Michael developed an addiction as he had no time to recover from a reconstructive scalp surgery he underwent for the 2nd and 3rd degree burn injuries he sustained in 1984 before his Dangerous Tour began in 1993 . But it is the highest of ignorance and an insult to equate a person who needs pain medication eg morphine or cortizone for severe injuries and painful health ailments (eg arthritis) with a street junkie who CHOOSES to use illegal substances e.g. cocaine for recreational purposes. My father has never smoked or drunk alcohol his entire life. Never. He has had three surgeries however and he can’t live without painkillers. He didn’t choose to have an auto immune disease. For instance:Michael Jackson heavily sedated with painkillers during a Mexico deposition after an oral surgery. He performed the previous night.But look at Lisa Marie totally wasted on cocaine which she CHOSE to abuse since she was 14 and until recently . Not surprising at all- her speech is always slurred. Seems like she ran through her money buying drugs as she is also in debt. “The last year of my marriage , I was abusing cocaine terribly,” Presley said. “It was bad, yeah.” Presley said that she went to rehab “in Mexico three or four times,” then said she may have gone five times in the last few years of her marriage.” Cocaine is an illegal and recreational drug. She was not prescribed cocaine by a respectable physician. She bought it from a street dealer to get high even when she was a mother of two little ones, hence she nearly lost their custody. Hardly the same thing!!! So how on earth she sat on Oprah saying she wanted to save MJ but was a drug addict her self?Michael turned to "drugs" because he was in pain. He had a long list of health issues before he even hit his thirties. Michael Jackson and his sister Latoya hung out at Studio 54 in the early ‘80’s completely drug free! Everyone else abused cocaine but they were CLEAN. It’s not his fault he had lupus and suffered great pain because of his lupus ridden joints. Paul Gongaware, the AEG Live co-CEO who was in charge of Jackson's 2009 "This Is It" tour, was also tour manager for his "Dangerous" tour in 1993. Levounis acknowledged in testimony that there was evidence that Gongaware knew about Jackson's painkiller addiction 15 years before his death. He told Michael’s tour doctor Dr Finkelstein then ‘’ don’t be a doctor Nick’’, meaning Elvis’ doctor who over prescribed him with prescription pills.Michael wrote about his problem with opioids like Demerol in his songs. He PUBLICLY thanked Elton John on his HIStory album for the support he gave him for his drug addiction. Elizabeth Taylor gave a Press conference in 1993 in which she openly spoke about his drug problem as she also battled a similar addiction herself . Debbie Rowe , who tearfully testified in the 2013 AEG wrongful death trial , said that Michael Jackson had very low tolerance to physical pain and he was exploited by his physicians, whom he trusted , and they gave him very strong medication when he underwent brutally painful treatments for his medical conditions. At some point , they inserted a balloon in his head, which caused him excruciating pain. Debbie Rowe, was screaming and yelling when she was informed of Jackson’s death. She wanted to talk to Klein. ‘What did you give him?’ she asked Klein , ‘I wasn’t there. I haven’t given him Demerol for a couple days.’’ Klein replied. Klein gave Michael Demerol under several different aliases using other doctors’ operating rooms before Jackson died on 25th June 2009. One of Demerol’s major side effects is insomnia. Michael Jackson suffered from a massive sleep disorder, which was deteriorated by Demerol, which Dr Klein gave him since the 90’s. He was prescribed pain medication , which are NOT drugs of choice. He needed legitimate pain medication. Debbie Rowe testified in 2013 that Michael Jackson begged for relief from medical issues and treatments that were horribly painful. She said he got migraines, cold sweats and grew pale and his doctors took advantage of his low tolerance to pain. She testified under oath she never saw him doctor shop. Michael Jackson was far too trusting. His occasional strong physical pain was criminally exploited by a cohort of doctors. It's not like he was bored and decided to do a line of cocaine or light a joint like Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse and Lisa Marie Presley did . The latter did cocaine to get high since she was 14 and until recently, which nearly cost her her twins' custody.Paris needn't set any record straight. In the end it cost him his life. His cause of death however was HOMICIDE, not drug overdose. In addition to Murray, authorities subpoenaed medical records from Dr. Arnold Klein, Dr. Allan Metzger and Dr. David Adams, the affidavit states. They also asked for medical records from Dr. David Slavitt, who conducted the independent medical examination of Jackson for Anschwuntz Entertainment Group ( AEG ) , Dr. Randy Rosen and nurse practitioner Cherilyn Lee. They also subpoenaed records from Dr. Mark Tadrissi, who stored medical records with Adams. Klein made some outrageous claims to bolster his case and divert attention away from himself and cover his ass conveniently after Michael died . It was his word against a dead man who couldn’t defend himself anymore. Michael Jackson had very poor judgement in people. He surrounded himself with quacks and shady people.His autopsy confirmed no organ damage from ‘’long term’’ drug addiction . His death was ruled a homicide and his murderer was convicted of involuntary manslaughter , not even malpractice . Plus you can't become addicted to propofol. The coroner himself said that there were no signs of addiction in MJ's case.
