How can I get a Japanese invitation letter for a visa application?

I’ll try to answer your question. For many Foreigners you do not need a invitation letter for a visa application. However U do need a company to sponsor you, for you to be able to apply for a Japanese visa. Or if you are married to a Japanese spouse u can apply. Japan has one of the most strongest immigration laws in the world. So unless your a rocket scientist don’t expect you can just and move to Japan. Many company’s will sponsor foreigners you just need to look online and find a company that will sponsor you.

What is it like to meet a celebrity (actor, sports person, etc.)? How are they in real life ?

I met the mind behind Linux, Git. I would prefer to call him legend than a celebrity. A simple soft spoken man who achieved so much. Yes, You guessed it correct, LINUS TORVALDS.I met him couple of months back in July. I got an opportunity to attend LinuxCon Japan 2016. I got the invitation letter from Linux Foundation in April, trust me, I started getting excited from April itself. It was 14th of July. I reached conference late. The moment when I reached there, Dirk Hohndel just announced, “Ladies and gentleman, Please welcome Linus Torvalds.” I ran and searched for the chair. I could not see any chairs empty. Fortunately there was a chair empty on the third row. I was like OMG I am the luckiest guy in this planet, even after being late was able to seem him in front of me. I sat quitely, took some photos of him. Was never been so happy in my life. Then the conference ended. Linus Torvalds was sitting in one corner of that conference room. He was one of the chilled guy. I was scared to talk to him, Trust me!!! Everyone is aware of his online rants. I gathered courage and started the conversation. He was quite polite, soft and down to earth guy, I never thought anyone would be that soft and polite even after so much of accomplishments. I was shivering, scared and happy, all at the same time. I looked younger compared to others who attended the conference. So he asked how old am I? I told 20, he was happy to see me there. After the introduction and bit of talks on linux kernel, I wanted to take a photo with him. But was scared. Somehow requested him, “Sir, Photo :P”. He agreed and took the above photo. And got his autograph too. That was one of the best moment anyone could ever have.My other answers:Yogesh Ojha's answer to What is an incident that changed your life?Yogesh Ojha's answer to What are the best and worst feelings in the world?

Are people in Xinjiang happy under the Chinese government?

First things first, as a Han Chinese who was born and raised in Xinjiang I can't represent all Han Chinese people in my hometown. As for minorities in Xinjiang, as far as I observed the barrier between them and Han Chinese is becoming bigger and bigger since 2009. So some of my Uyghur and Kazakh friends have stopped complaining about the government with me since the said year. Therefore, for now I may not capable to make a conclusion for them.In terms of Han Chinese, I believe most of us are satisfied with our current life under the government. The main reason behind the satisfaction is sense of security given by the government. Due to the increasing terrorism attacks occurred in Xinjiang since 2009, the Chinese government has implemented several measures to contain terrorism and extremism. Check out my another answer regarding those measures:Alex Zhang's answer to Is the Uyghur section of China safe for Americans to travel in?At the same time, Han Chinese people are leaving Xinjiang, and immigrate to Inner China or even abroad. Honestly, I'm also one of those immigrants. Our parents and grandparents immigrated from inner China to Xinjiang, and now we, as the first generation who were born in our new home, are leaving. Quite ironic, right? Let me interpret the reasons behind this phenomenon:Inner China has much better universities compare to Xinjiang, so most of outstanding students choose to continue their study in cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, etc. after they graduated from high school.Inner China has much more career opportunities than Xinjiang. In Xinjiang, oil&gas and agriculture are two major industries. Thus if a graduate would like to find a job in other industry, he or she probably will consider to leave Xinjiang. The governments in Inner China especially in first tier cities are more efficient and transparent than Xinjiang. I don't want to dig into this issue, because it's going to be another long answer. There are some public policy only be implemented in Xinjiang. For instance, according to my relative's experience, passport application in Xinjiang is still not as easy as in Inner China. Applicants should provide some documents like their relative's invitation letter (relatives who currently living abroad) to invite them traveling abroad. As regards minorities, as I said I am imcapable to speak for them, but I suggest you to subscribe a YouTuber who is a pretty Uyghur girl living in Xinjiang. She will show you how colourful ordinary Uyghur people's life is. I'm sure you will find your answer. Check her channel's link down below:安妮古丽Unfortunately, her videos don't have English subtitles, but I'm considering help her on that in the near future. If you'd like to know more about Xinjiang and Western China, feel free to follow my space: Explore Western China. If you are interested in China-Japan-South Korea relations, follow another space of mine: China-Japan-South Korea.
