CA exam's answer sheets are checked in very careless manner.The people who apply for checking are mainly working careless CA professionals in service and practice.Checking consist of 2 stages.1. Numbers are alloted by the principal Examiner who get ₹100 for each answer sheets.2. Totalling and verification of Allotment of numbers are done by the checker who gets ₹25 for each.Since working CAs do not have much time for checking so these checkings are done by their Article Assistants and family members.The CA instructs his family members and Article assistants how to allot marks.2 years ago, I was checking answers sheets as a checker.
