So you’ll get an order for what to package and ship to which warehouse. It may end up that it's 5 poppers, 20 dish towels and 20 USB sticks in one box to each distribution center. It’s all based on the algorithms. Once the goods are in the respective warehouses, Amazon will track your orders and notify you as goods are shipped.They charge for this service, of course.And you can always handle storing your own goods and shipping them out as your orders come in. But if you’re selling commodities such as household goods, and you’re trying to move a lot of merchandise, this can take up a lot of garage space and eat up a lot of time boxing up your goods and heading off to the local UPS store.One of the big benefits of using FBA, however, is that people are impatient and expect to have their packages delivered yesterday. With FBA, you can take advantage of their Prime customers and Prime delivery schedules. This is a big advantage.

Depends on weight, location and transportation. The more you can do by boat and train, the cheaper you will be. You can pack your own container (Rent, load, pick-up, ship, un-load) and that, too, will save money. Make sure youhave a good inventory list, and good locks on the container - and insurance.
