While US visa policy currently prohibits the issuance of a nonimmigrant visa to a stateless person, it is possible for a stateless person to be issued an immigrant visa. A US citizen who is also a resident of the United States can be the sponsor of an immediate-relative immigration petition for his or her unmarried minor child, and can also be the sponsor of a family-based immigration petition for his or her adult (or married) child. Thus, the child of a US citizen, even if stateless, can be the beneficiary of an immigrant petition provided that his or her parent is (or will become) a US resident as well as a US citizen, and can further satisfy the financial requirements to be an immigration sponsor (in cases where an affidavit of support is required), and would be qualified (if not otherwise ineligible) to be issued an immigrant visa on that basis once the approved petition becomes current. In the specific case of a US citizen parent with an unmarried noncitizen child under the age of 18, no affidavit of support is required if the parent and child will return together to the United States, as the child will immediately become a US citizen upon taking up residence in the United States with his or her US citizen parent.Note that is is uncommon for the child of a US citizen to be stateless, and US consular officials will carefully review the circumstances of the applicant for a visa in this situation to determine if the applicant is potentially a US citizen before issuing the visa. US citizenship arising at birth arises automatically as a matter of law, whether or not the parents apply for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad or a passport for the child. The mere fact that the parents never sought to have the child’s US citizenship affirmed does not mean that the child is not a US citizen. Neither does citizenship in a country that prohibits dual citizenship.In addition, note that US law requires every visa applicant to prove that he or she is not a US citizen, and so if there is any reason to believe that the applicant might be a US citizen, the applicant must prove that he or she is not before the visa can issue. See 9 FAM 301.3 (U) ELIGIBILITY: “You may not issue a visa to an individual unless you are satisfied that the applicant is an alien.” If there is credible reason to suspect that the applicant might be a US citizen, the consular officer will usually deny the application under INA § 221(g) pending a review of the individual’s application for a CRBA or US passport. A consular officer cannot issue a visa to anyone who has a pending application for a CRBA or US passport.Note also that while a stateless person cannot be issued a nonimmigrant visa, stateless persons may nonetheless travel to and enter the United States, without a visa, either as refugees or via humanitarian parole. Both of these are uncommon, but then again, so also are stateless persons who are the children of US citizens. And demonstrating “extreme hardship to a US citizen” (one of the possible reasons for granting humanitarian parole) would likely not be terribly difficult in this situation.

It's an absolute necessity.. Kindly report to local police station and along with that get an affidavit from a court.. What happened to one of my acquaintance would be an eye opener for u.. He lost his phone while drinking somewhere and later his phone was switched off.. He forgot that incident.. Later his phone was used for a ransom call.. Police tracked him down and put him behind bars.. It took a lot of legal procedures, hardships and tortures to get him out of trouble.. Hope you understand.. Mostly this won't happen with us but we all can't be sure..
