Thanks for A2A.Previous NDA govt was headed by Shri Vajpayee and current by Mr Modi. Vajpayee was very humble and accomodating. He never tried to bring heat on opposition whatever the case may be. It is alleged that he helped RG to come clean in US. Do you think that would have been a case now?Vajpayee did good work but failed miserabley in converting that into vote. What happens on this front with Modi is yet to be seen. Though I doubt he will fail.Vajpayee came after Narsimha rao(wonderful PM. Public anger was there against congress but anger was not hate. Modi came after MMS(he is credited for reforms but his PM was never even acknowledged for his success). People still hate congress. Appeasement politics was taken to new level during UPA regime.Vajpayee believed that work will speak for itself(big no). Modi knows how to market(you need content also).Vajpayee envisioned many things but environment was not much conductive and still there were sanctions(after pokhran). Because of this he could not start many of big budget projects. Modi knows how to make friends and bring investments. He is starting ASAP on most of the projects.Vajpayee was soft on malicious campaigns of congress and now??? Congress is feeling sisilian reply.Vajpayee and Modi both helped people irrespective of their caste and creed but Modi knows how to make them vote too.vajpayee was mostly inactive on demography change but Modi is not.I showed these differences because it should be known why vajpayee govt failed to win election again. It was country’s loss. Now if Modi fails it will be bigger loss this time. Chalanges now a days are bigger than Vajpayee era.It is people’s responsibility that present government continues till better(for INDIA) option becomes available.

I have a terrible confession to make. I voted Remain, but I was not sure at the time that this was the right decision.It started with “Call Me” Dave (David Cameron, UK Prime Minister at the time). I really did not want to cast a vote for him: I did not back his policies, and I was really annoyed that he expected my support in an internal Tory Party row that I was really not interested in. I saw him trot off to Brussels, and read in ‘Der Spiegel’ that the EU was willing to make concessions, but he had no suggestions for the concessions he wanted them to make.I then received a piece of expensive literary dog plop through my letter box telling me why “Call Me” thought we should stay in the EU, which alone nearly made me change my mind. I then saw “Call Me” and his pal running through the same script they had used in the Scottish referendum about economic disasters etc, and I began to seriously think about voting for leave.The Remain campaign was led by “Call me.” It was distinctly lacklustre, and I can’t actually remember him saying anything positive. On the other side: "There will be no downside to Brexit, only a considerable upside" (David Davis); "The day after we vote to leave, we hold all the cards and we can choose the path we want" (Michael Gove); "There will continue to be free trade, and access to the single market" (Boris Johnson); "The free trade agreement that we will have to do with the European Union should be one of the easiest in human history" (Liam Fox). Etcetera. Even if I was beginning to suspect they were talking rubbish, at least they did so with enthusiasm.I voted to Remain, because in the end the freedom to travel through Europe was more important to me than anything else. The day after the referendum, though, I must confess that I was almost relieved see that Leave had won: now we could just sit back and wait for benefits of Brexit to come rolling in! A few days later, “Call Me” resigned - an unexpected bonus, it had to be said.However, on the day after the referendum Nigel Farage admitted that “We send the EU £350 million a week. Let’s fund our NHS instead” (painted on the side of a bus) was a lie. And from this point on, I began to lose sympathy with the Leavers, as claim after fanciful referendum claim was shown to also be a lie. “Call Me” was replaced by Theresa May, and Brexit became nastier and nastier, along with the Breleaver rhetoric. Johnson came along, and the lies became even more obvious and extreme. Racists, sexists and extreme Nationalists clearly began to feel comfortable in the new “Brexit means Brexit” order. Johnson became the first Prime Minister (as far as I know) whose name is chanted by right-wing extremist groups.None of the contradictions of Brexit are acknowledged by the Breleavers. Their own cheerleaders have gone from "There will be no downside to Brexit, only a considerable upside" (David Davis) to “It won’t be as bad as the Blitz” (Ann Widdecombe) in the course of three years. Their new Guru Johnson is a liar and a racist who has a disgusting attitude towards women, but this seems not to matter. The Brexit paradigm has shifted from “the Norway model” to “No Deal,” but supporters don’t seem to have even noticed.A diabetic Brexiteer publicly stated that he would rather lose access to Insulin that stay in the EU. They have said that they don't care if Scotland and Northern Ireland leave the UK, and Brexiteer Priti Patel says UK should threaten Ireland with no deal Brexit food shortages, which will be wonderful leverage in negotiations with Ireland. What sick mind could even think such things?So I do not hate most Brexiteers, but I hate what Brexit has become, and I find it hard to understand why other people have not realised that leaving the EU will not lead to the paradise they were promised. Why do they direct their ire towards Remainers, when the people who were supposed to be on their side do not even have the guts to admit that they are liars and con artists?I am concerned that my access to the rest of Europe will be constrained for the rest of my life. I am worried that even our appalling blinkered government admits that a “No Deal” Brexit will be a disaster (No-deal Brexit: key points of Operation Yellowhammer report).If I continue to be strongly opposed to xenophobia, racism and sexism, I make no apology. If I now firmly believe that the UK should stay in the EU, I think my reasons are quite clear and logical - unlike those of most Brexiteers. If this sometimes come across as hate rather than frustration, I apologise.
