Then the murmuring got even louder as everyone rushed to the right side of the plane to see a single human floating far above our plane and rising.(This photo is from the NYT article about the ascent and jump)If you don’t know, Alan ascended to 25.7 miles and jumped back to Earth, breaking Felix Baumgartner's world records for highest free-fall jump and longest free-fall.
