PDF Editor FAQ

What is the remainder when 202^12 is divided by 1000?

296You can write [math]202^{12}[/math] as (200 + 2)^12.Now, Expanding it using binomial theorem, we get12C0(200)^12 + 12C1(200)^11 * 2 + ... + 12C10(200)^2 * 2^10+ 12C11*(200) * 2^11 + 12C12*2^12 .Till 12C10, each term is 0 mod 1000 since they have got more than 3 zeroes.Now, we are left with two terms only.12C11*200*2^11 + 12C12*2^12 mod 1000= 2^12(12 * 100 + 1) mod 1000= (2^12 mod 1000 * 1201 mod 1000) mod 1000= 96 * 201 mod 1000= 296Hence, the answer is 296.

What are the changes in the NCERT biology class 11 and 12 for 2020-2021?

I have read the entire new edition and here are the changes that caught my eye:The credit for the the name ‘virus’ has been given to Iwanowsky instead of Pasteur (Pg.26) Class 112. This is a slightly different diagram from the one in the previous edition (Pg.136) Class 113. The line which said ‘Midbrain and hindbrain form the brain stem’ has been deleted (Pg.321) Class 114. The line ‘However, there are few exceptions…..’ has been added (Pg.167) Class 115. Baccilus bacteria, which was previously mentioned has been cut (Pg.202) Class 116. The specific epithet ‘hysterophorus’ which was previously not mentioned has been added (Pg.228) Class 127. The word ‘air’ has been added along with ambient in the 5th line (Pg.224) Class 128. The line ‘please refer to page 289’ has been deleted (Pg.90 ) Class 12.(This really struck up a controversy check out this answer of mine Ashvin Malik's answer to What are some of the unsolved mysteries of India? )9. ‘Homo erectus about 1.5 mya’ has been added (Pg.140) Class 1210. Human liver fluke which was incorrectly given as ‘nematode’ in the previous edition has been corrected to ‘trematode’ (Pg.235) Class 1211. The value of 19.4% has been updated to 21.54% in the new edition (Pg.284) Class 1212. The spelling which was previously ‘Udorina’ has been changed to ‘Eudorina’ (Pg.30) Class 1113. This table has been updated in the new edition (Pg.273) Class 12

Is NCERT enough for bio and chemistry? Which topics should I go out of NCERT?

I appeared in NEET 2018 and scored :-325 in biology170 in chemistryalso that I attempted bio. and chem. in less than 75 minutes. That accuracy and speed developed through a very long process of :-understanding conceptslearning factspracticing lots of questions ( very important step that most of the students miss out ).Let’s analyze 2018 biology part (I will answer about chemistry in future so follow this account and you will get notification when i post it) so that you can understand the importance of NCERT.Class 12 NCERT pg. 104 - meselson and stahl’s experiment on E. Coli using heavy isotope of nitrogen.Class 12 NCERT pg. 73 - this question simply shows that each and every word of NCERT is important and you can’t skip years, numbers, statistics, names, or even countries of scientists. Don’t say “ ye to NEET m nahi aa sakta h bhai “ for anything that is written in NCERT. Now, 5Q were straight away out of NCERT and I had all 5 wrong(even my guesses were wrong in all 5, bad luck). Those were Q no.98,127,139,148,149 and I had 2 more question wrong (from NCERT).People generally say that 10 or 15 questions are out of NCERT but now I think that the facts are straight. All you need speed and accuracy in NCERT based questions and no need to dwell in other coaching materials.Keep it in mind that I am not saying that NEET biology is very easy, I am just saying you all to keep NCERTs your primary source, do lot's of hard work on question practice and you will get a good score in biology. Trend might change in future but still I don’t think that more than 10 questions can be asked in neet( which is still good to score 300+). For a moderate type of question paper around 5 questions can be straight away out of NCERT.Thank you and good luck for your exams.I hope this answer helps
