How many nukes can a B-52 carry?

Depends on the B-52 and the type of nukes. This is will be very boring.X/Y-B-52: 0 nukes, prototypes.B-52A: 0 nukes, evaluation aircraft.B-52B: 1 x Mk-17 or 1 x Mk-24 or 2 x Mk-15 or 2 x Mk-21 or 4 x B28.B-52C: 1 x Mk-17 or 1 x Mk-24 or 2 x Mk-15 or 2 x Mk-21 or 4 x B28.B-52D: 4 x Mk-15 (Usually just 2) or 2 x Mk-21 or 4 x B28 AND 2 x AGM-28A Hound Dog (although in practice, most aircraft carrying the Hound Dog were slated for follow-up nuclear strikes and would not have carried free-fall bombs on their first mission, these B-52s would have been used solely as stand-off weapons platforms. The follow up nuclear missions were called “Yo-Yo Missions”).B-52E: 4 x Mk-15 (Usually just 2) or 2 x Mk-21 or 4 x B28 or 4 x B41 or 8 x B43 (Usually just 4) or 2 x B53 or 8 x B61 (Usually just 4) AND 2 x AGM-28A Hound Dog.B-52F: 4 x Mk-15 (Usually just 2) or 2 x Mk-21 or 4 x B28 or 4 x B41 or 8 x B43 (Usually just 4) or 2 x B53 or 8 x B61 (Usually just 4) AND 2 x AGM-28A Hound Dog.B-52G (Before conversion): 4 x B28 or 4 x B41 or 8 x B43 (Usually just 4) or 2 x B53 or 8 x B61 (Usually just 4) AND 2 x AGM-28A Hound Dog.B-52G (After conversion): 20 x AGM-86A/B or 12 x AGM-86A/B AND 8 x AGM-69A.B-52H: 4 x B28 or 4 x B41 or 8 x B43 (Usually just 4) or 2 x B53 or 8 x B61 (Usually just 4) or 8 x B83 (Usually just 4).I think that’s it, could have missed a couple of configuration, I will try to update the answer as I am working from memory here.

How will the Indian Navy's inventory look in 2025?

An interesting question… the Indian Navy, and indeed the entire Indian Armed Forces, is undergoing a phase of almost unprecedented build up and modernisation. Given the increasingly grim threat perceptions of our Top Brass and the worsening neighborhood, this comes as no surprise.Lets have a look at the projects being implemented right now (or in the near future) to have an idea of the navy of 2025.Project 15B: two Project 15B Viskhakapatnam class destroyers are under construction at the moment at Mazgaon docks, Mumbai and two more and planned. All four will have been atleast a few years in service by 2025 with the first one expected to get commissioned by 2018–19.This is the Khanderi, the second Scorpene class submarine, but look at the Vishakaptnam class destroyer behind.Project 17A: the Project 17A frigates are successors to the Shivalik class frigates and seven of these are planned. The ships will be built simultaneously between GRSE, Kolkata and Mazgaon. Construction is slated to be started in late 2017 with the first ships being commissioned in 2021–22. By 2025, 3–4 of these will have been completed.Project 28/28A: two Project 28 Kamorta class corvettes are already in service. The remaining two will be commissioned in the next few years (the third corvette is almost ready for sea trials). The delay was caused by the Navy’s decision to significantly upgrade the third and fourth corvettes (composite superstructure, better armaments and sensors). All four will be in commission by 2020.The 28A ships are also due to be built starting 2020, and perhaps 1–2 will be commissioned by 2025.Project 71 IAC (the Vikrant): the Vikrant, India’s first locally built aircraft carrier is almost ready and will be commissioned by 2020 max (not 2023 as reported in the media).Project 75 Scorpenes: the Scorpene submarines are presently in various stages of construction at Mazgaon docks (two are in sea trials with Kalvari, the first sub, ready for commissioning). By 2025, all six will be in service.Landing Helicopter Docks: four LHDs will be built in a private shipyard in partnership with a foreign shipyard. My money is on either the Mistral from DCNS or the Juan Carlos design from Navantia. But we’ll see. Most likely 1–2 of these will be in commission by then.Mistral class LHDJuan Carlos class LHDAdmiral Grigorovich class: Russia and India signed a contract to buy/build four Grigorovich class frigates which are essentially upgraded variants of the Talwar class already in service. Two will be built in Russia and two in India.INS TegMinesweepers: 12 minesweepers are to be built at Hindustan Shipyard, Vizag in partnership with a South Korean shipyard. In addition there are a indeterminate number of Project 75I class submarines, atleast 1–2 Arihant class nuclear subs, another Akula II nuclear sub and literally scores of smaller corvettes, missile boats and OPVs that I just dont have the patience to cover. And these all are completely new ships that will join the IN. On top of these will be the ships already in service. In total, the Indian fleet of 2025 will most likely be composed of the following:Aircraft Carriers : 2The INS Vikramaditya and INS Vikrant.Destroyers : 10Three Delhi class destroyersThree Kolkata class Destroyers:Four Vishakapatnam class destroyersAnd possibly 1–2 R class destroyers (retained because they’ve been upgraded with BrahMos VLS and Barak SAMs)Frigates: (17–19)Brahmaputra class : 3Shivalik class : 3Talwar/Teg/ Grigorovich class (10 already commissioned + 2 new +2 under construciton)Project 17A class (3–4 commissioned + 4–3 under construction)Corvettes: (10–14)Kamorta class (4 + 2–3 28A class )Kora class (4)2 older Khukri classUnknown number of smaller ASW and ASuW corvettes. Details are presently unavailable.2–3 LHDs (Mistrals or Juan Carlos class)5 LST(L)s + unknown number of yet to be built ones:7–8 Kilo class Subs:4 Type 209 subs6 Kalvari class subs :2–3 P75I next gen subs2–3 Arihant class submarines1 Chakra class SSNs (maybe 2)INS Chakra’s lease expires in 2022 but the IN may buy it outright at the end of the ten year lease. A contract has been signed for the second sub.So that’s it! A list of the major combatants of the IN as I see it in 2025. I maybe wrong in the finer numbers but the ship types are correct. I cannot even think of including the OPVs and patrol vessels in this list.
