Hello everyone ,My name is Kuldeep Kumar and I got selected in civil services exam 2018 with AIR 548.I have a real story related to my family achievements which have inspired me all throughout my life .So it started with my grandfather journey . He is a native of Nagla Dube (a remote village in District Etah ) . Later he migrated to DELHI in order to find some job. He worked double shift in the area of old Delhi - as a daily wage worker in the shop during daytime and as a security guard in a textile mill during night . He lived in a chowl in old Delhi with his wife and his three children. Many a times he ate chapati with an onion in order save money . Later from his little earnings he was able to give education to his children and purchase some agricultural land in our native village . Then he came back to native place and started farming on a small land of ~2 Bigha.Later His both sons got recruited to Uttar Pradesh Police . His youngest son (my father ) was my inspiration throughout my life as I am blessed to observe him closely . So My Father was recruited as a police constable at the age of 18 . then later in his service span of ~25 years he is able to get four promotions ( constable - head constable - sub inspector - senior sub inspector - inspector ) and right now he is Inspector in U.P. Police Department . Hopefully , he will retire from the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police by 2031. He got all four promotions through qualifying the various exams and not on seniority basis . I have watched him doing hectic field job of ~12 hours and then focusing on his studies . I as a child always asked him - ki papa why you work so hard ? he always reply with a smile on his face that “beta , I like to work hard” . But he always wanted to give a good life to his children where money should not be constraint for us .Now I will talk of myself . I have done my schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya . Later qualified prestigious IIT -JEE Exam in 2012. and Now Qualified the most Prestigious Exam of India - Civil services exam 2018 with AIR 548 (Hoping to get either IPS / IRS ) .Although , many people will find this story simple . But I can tell that whenever I feel low in my life I close my eyes and imagine my Grandfather working in double shift and my father working for ~20 hrs . These imaginary thoughts gave me insights that I am living a luxurious life and should not complain about it.I don’t go far to get something to inspire me. The Journey of these 3 generations is full of challenges and always gives an inspiration to me. The continuity of dreams and passion about hard work throughout the generations have made every thing possible. Once a daily wage laborer is one of the influential man in Etah district.Some of my words of my Grandfather , he said to me during my IIT JEE Preparation that I still remember that - “BETA Always remember you are a son of farmer . Hard work is in your blood . Your reason for failure should never be lack of hard work.”AND MY FATHER’S BEST LINES ARE - “WORK IS WORSHIP”.these are the people about whom I am talking in this answer.Thanks , I hope you will find this journey of three people interesting.

For humans from Earth on the Moon - 2031 with “functioning” defined as “autonomous.”

THE YEAR IS 2031. How would it be to have Graying hairline plus beards which become mandatory as this is the age ( I’ll be 41+) that once all those things which happened to us appear as a blessing as everything Technology-wise has become compartmentalized, managing life at 41 would imply that more wisdom would have generated. Our lives would have moved apart more & the personal space & inclination towards Life ( Scientific) would tend to have bloomed further. I do not know to predict as such the Choices we make would have decided the outcomes.This is not a Journey for sure, as all of us seem to feel racing ahead to a Point B. That Point B from Point A is life for certain people as they feel that making the choices get’s us to a Destination. Certainly, 2031 is not a destination. It would be happening just as it is happening in 2021 or how life happened in 2012 or 2001. Life in 1991 happened in a much slower pace ( according to our memories ) as the Internet was not in complete Race- match with our day to day activities of knowledge transfer. We performed our duties with more Synchronicity to Life.The next generation of Knowledge transfer could be less Gadget specific & almost everything could just be limited to few or maybe even just one. As an Indian I would be reaping the benefits of Technology to the maximum ( If I get the latest gadgets ) at the same time pondering how far Technology could integrate into our Consciousness. In 2031 more 5G technologies would be bombarded at us with the Air space full of microwave radiation, radio signals, electromagnetic radiations, IR, particle radiations , X rays , UV . However we would have crammed up more in the 5G Spectrum & this could be a cause for concern for Knowledge Adepts who think Corrupting the Consciousness is possible if this scale of Bombarding happens & what changes 6th Generation or 7th Generation could bring to us. This is semi scary situation as the Personal space has increased in Highly populous countries like India & China ( This is subject to Change every year ) due to advent of Grid life.Democracy would have evolved in those aspects which could certainly bring about positive changes as the Voting process alone doesn’t mean Electing our Government. There could be strata wise interference in the years to come 2031. This would mean that dynamic politics could shape our roles to be more ACTIVE than just mere pressing of the Voting machine/ Ballot paper & then completely forgetting & behaving as passive bots for the rest of the Democratic period. I would certainly witness the aftermath of two decade long political wars which has taken this country into whirlpools of Growth , the un-kept promises & the never to be seen un-selfishness from Politicians or the Harmony of the Communal classes. This Inertia could have increased or maybe at a tipping point in 2031. Maybe !Hope , I ‘ll be able to hang around till the year 2031 to witness all this Stuff !
