PDF Editor FAQ
Can a township cop pull you over for any reason outside his township or county?
California and Nevada:Peace officers with full powers (California) or Category I (Nevada) have full police powers anywhere in the state.Oh, so if I’m lit up in just south of Calnvari just get over the border into Cali and I’m free right?NO (Blame Bonnie and Clyde) All neighboring states have agreements which all each others police to have full powers when on duty in another state. So that Nevada Trooper you tried to split from? Well, besides really pissing him off now he has to drive you into San Bernardino to lock you up for evasion or refusing to stop etc. That means driving from Vegas to Berdo for your prelim. You? If you ever want to drive legally in Nevada ever again will also have a court date in Laughlin for the original charge plus Failure to Stop on Signal of Police Officer. If you don’t you will have a warrant. While the warrant is only good in state it will cause you grief each and every time you get pulled over.Just pull over. If you don’t like the citation fight it in court.Trust me all this fantasy of “That’s out of his jurisdiction” is just that fantasy. There are Peace Officers with limited powers out there. Most have a jurisdiction limited to a special type of crime(s) or a select group of people (Corrections and Probation)
With so many shootings, why do Americans insist on owning guns and why are so many against the banning of them?
Here are some possibilities off the top of my head: (I love Singapore, btw.)Our Entertainment Industry: A lot of us were brought up watching cowboy movies and war movies. We learned how to fight, and morals from these movies, watching the good guys combat evil with their six guns, lever action rifles, M1 Garands, and M-16’s. And we could buy toy guns in the toy store by the tons; cap guns, dart guns, water guns, pellet shooting guns, cowboy guns, etc., all part of the entertainment industry. We watch a movie, and we want to play it—it’s about money, and what sells.Drug problem: We got a drug problem; we like drugs. And we have an endless supply (illegally) from South America through our border with Mexico, and I think mostly Mexico itself now, and the Caribbean (old pirate territory.) Also they float it in with boats, and fly it in via low flying aircraft. So we have some 3,000,000 drug gang members here, and they fight each other with guns; that effects the stats a little. The gang leaders rule with an iron thumb, and everything is fine and profitable as long as you follow orders. If not, then you get a head chopped off or something—I mean these guys come from war torn Honduras or somewhere, where all they know is war—so that ‘death’ deterrent is acceptable for a chance to prosper, where otherwise they would not prosper. I don’t do drugs, but I can walk down my block and in 5 minutes I would be approached to by Heroin, Coke, Meth, pills of all sorts, weed, etc. Some are carrying guns (illegally,) some are carrying young babies. So banning guns in the USA would basically just disarm people like me, who has something to lose if we don’t abide by the law. All the lawless people who do all the killing in the first place, will still have their guns. That said, I am really proud of what Singapore has accomplished in creating a society with an anti-drug mindset.Government: Well, this is where I may go kind of off the chart. First of all, I view all governments as gang leaders. Because they tend to rule their members with an iron hand. Singapore is kind of like the USA, because it too won it’s independence from British Rule in manners that involved armed resistance. Actually, every government on earth has a history of armed conflict that ended up with them on top. And every Nation has an armed military to protect their nations with. Singapore has one of the most advanced military forces on earth—because guns are a solution, not a problem. This is a gun culture. Singapore has a very impressive local ‘armed’ police system. More guns—as a solution. The only entity that is not allowed to protect themselves with guns, are the members. The leaders and the rich of all countries—even the ones that ban guns—all have 24/7 professional armed protection as a solution. The problem is, that the individual human right to protect one-self in these countries are denied to the common person like you and me; by a ruling class who all retain the right for such protection just for themselves. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, if it works for your environment, and your government stays ‘nice’ to y’all. But Genocide, which is still happening in the world today, only happens in countries where their people have been disarmed, or has inferior weapons capabilities to defend themselves. So in Singapore, the gun ban happened ages ago, when rulers were afraid people with guns would kill them. So they banned guns from everyone except themselves. And over the years, everyone adapted fine to that arrangement. And the penalty of death for not doing what your leaders mandated, was/is a successful technique as seen in any successful street gang too. So the only difference with the USA, is that once we got free of England, we wanted to stay free from any form of oppressive government. So we created a system where we put our trust in a government (gang leaders,) to serve the people. We did not want to serve any government. And to ensure we won’t lose our freedoms, and liberties, we recognized our First and most important freedom, “an inalienable individual right to bear arms, in which our government can never infringe upon.” This right to bear arms is the true litmus test. If a government can take this away, then they can also take all of our other freedoms away with no resistance; like our freedom of speech, our freedom from slavery, our freedom of the press (I think the Singapore government has influence over the press there right?); our freedom of assembly, and all our Civil Rights of Equality, and any other liberty they want to take away. We simply won’t be America anymore, if enemies to our country ever manage to take away the primary individual Human Right for all, the right to protect themselves and their loved ones form harm. They may say, “well, we’ve outsourced the protection of your loved ones, to a third party police force.” Well, our police force is not as good as the Singapore Police force. In some places, the cops are 2 hours away. And we have lots of people still relying on guns for food, and the protection of their livestock, in addition to protecting themselves where police are no where around, or when the police themselves hate them, and may want to kill them. So our leaders rule with a weak hand. They don’t kill our dissenters like Singapore does. We don’t kill foreign inspired violent ideological terrorists until after they start killing us, then they write up a report, call it a mass killing and blame it on American guns. These are the mass killings you hear about recently. Foreign inspired killings, not at all an American Gun Culture killing. American Gun Culture is a Peace Loving Polite Society who would not harm anyone, unless they are trying to chop our loved ones head off or something, or take away our freedoms. Because our government is not strong like yours. We, the true Patriotic People are the strong ones! But we are more and more oppressed by State and Local gun laws which in most States, only allows us to fight a fully armed enemy attack with our bare hands and cell phones! Like in Paris recently, Boston, San Bernardino, and Orlando. So yes we do have crimes or passion and suicides, and rape and murders and terrorists, and wack jobs and racism etc., that culminate in gun violence. But these guys do not represent American Gun Culture. American Gun Culture is about Good people, who are strong enough to defend ourselves from those that may want to, or ARE killing us, for perhaps no other reason than that we exist. And yes, we do have an issue with our youth and family values. The youth that you may see that take pictures of themselves with guns hanging all over them, posing in an ‘imposing’ manner, are not true American Gun Culture representatives. They may represent a new Youth Gun Culture, in response to the growing socialist anti-gun culture in the USA, led by the likes of Obama and Hillary, and those communist thinking folk who have postured themselves in roles of authority in our schools and media. So our new Youth Gun Culture, are on the ‘right’ side, but they are millennials, and are creating their own gun culture, and they may not follow the old fashioned traditional rules of guns—but they are still on the right track of defending America’s freedoms. And beware what you hear and see on TV. True American Gun Culture is under attack from the liberals in our own ranks as American citizens, who have large socialized control over the media. They are trying to demonize all gun owners as evil, just for owning a gun. They may say things like, “We must ban the AK-15 assault rifle and other weapons of war!” But the AK-15 is a semi-automatic, not a fully automatic assault weapon of war. It is no more dangerous than any other semi-automatic we have the human right to own. Does the Singapore War Machine use AK-15’s? I think not. They probably developed their own bad-ass weapon that makes the AK-15 look like a toy!So America is at War with those that kill under the name of Drugs, and Terrorists, and a handful of whack jobs. Which is largely why our gun deaths are so high. These are not true Americans. They are hostile to Americans, either non-citizens, or ‘turned’ citizens, or citizens that hate other citizens—like smart zombies or something—a complete lack of love in their brains…And we know how to take care of zombies right? With a gun, not a cell phone. In Singapore, you would just kill them, problem solved. Here in America, we just look at them, and respect their feelings, then if they kill, we may cut them loose so they can attack us again, or give them 3 months probation or something, or pardon them like Obama and Bill Clinton does (and I’m not altogether exaggerating too much...)So we are not bad people man, we are just people like you, only in a little different climate, little different political environment, and on the verge of another Civil War to preserve Liberty for All. Your government is strong, ours is weak. Are people have claws, and yours have been declawed. But I think for Asians, you are finally getting it on with martial arts right? Props man, show us how it’s done! We may not even need guns if everybody was Kung-Fu fighting over here, haha :)

And you can’t rely on the course you took 15 years ago. Police work changes. Laws change. Techniques appear, go away and evolve. You have to try to stay current. If you want to go into police work I hope you liked school!
