PDF Editor FAQ

What was your experience when you purchased your first high end fashion item? (eg. Gucci, Armani, Prada etc.)

I’m only 16 so I haven’t really “bought” many high end fashion items. Most of them are either gifts from my relatives or my parents bought them for me.However there was a time where I really wanted a Dior shoe, but my parents said no. It was priced at $1,100 at the time and I had no idea how to make enough money to buy it.So I would do all kinds stuff to get money. I only had $100 dollars in my saving. I would do many things like mowing my grandma’s lawn, writing essays for people at school and taking care of my neighbor’s dogs.Eventually after 4 months of hard work, I made enough money to buy the shoe I want. My parents were impressed, especially my mom who ended up buying the shoe for me instead. So now I have the shoe I want + $1000 in my savings. At the end of the day I didn’t really buy it, but I worked for it. At least I felt proud of myself when I made that money. This was the shoe if you guys are wondering. Its called the Dior B23? Yea I think thats what its called lol.Thank u for reading my answer~🥰

You have endless money but you can only buy classic cars (before 1995). What would you buy?

Unlimited money to buy classic cars huh? Alright, *cracks knuckles* Time to get rich.I’m assuming I can only use the money to buy the cars and would have to maintain it out of pocket. So I’m gonna have to separate the cars into 2 categories:Cars that I’ll actually drive and carefully maintainCars that I’ll invest and keep as garage queens so I won’t go bankrupt trying to maintain them.Ok, here we go.First thing’s firstThe Daily Drivers1985 Mercedes-Benz 300D W12387 Horsepowers, 127 Ib-ft. of torque, 0–60 mph in 17.8s, and a top speed of a 96 mph.Powered by a 3.0L I-5 NA Diesel that got 25 mpg.Back when Mercedes was Mercedes and their cars were built like tanks, the predecessor to the modern E-class is without a doubt one of the most reliable, well-built, and high-quality vehicles ever made, this was when “German Engineering” actually meant quality and reliability and was more than just a marketing term. This would be my main daily driver.Next up:The 1992 Volvo 240114 horsepower and 136 Ib-ft. of torquePowered by a 2.3L B23 “Redblock” I-4 that manages 20 mpgAnother from Europe, Volvo 240 is undisputedly one of the kings when it comes to reliability, produced for over 20 years, it is not uncommon for 240s to reach an unbelievably high number of miles on the same engine and drivetrain. The 240 was the car the made Volvo and was one of the most well built and safest cars of the 20th century. As such, I would love to buy one as my second daily driver.Alright, now that we have the mandatory daily dependable cars out of the way, let’s have some fun.The Man-Toys.1989 Mercedes-Benz 500SL R107237 horsepower, 296 Ib-ft. of torque. 0–60 mph in 6.3s, and a top speed of 140 mph.Powered by a Daimler 90 degree 5.0L Naturally Aspirated V8.This was Mercedes’ pride and joy in the 80s, alongside the S-class, THIS was Mercedes’ flagship, it was Mercedes showing off to the world the best that it can do. This thing is quick even by modern standards and way more fun to drive than most modern cars. Not only that, but it also brings the same reliability and high quality as all Mercedes of the era, meaning it will last forever.Next1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R R32“276” horsepower, and “260” Ib-ft. of torque. 0–60 mph in 5.3s, and a top speed of 155 mph.Powered by a 2.6L Twin-Turbocharged Inline 6 cylinder. What more can I say, it’s Godzilla, and just so y’all know Nissan understated the performance figures of this car BIG TIME simply cause there was a gentlemen's agreement at the time in Japan that no car would make more than 276hp. This thing is a tuner’s wet dream and I would love to own one in my collection. Oh, Nissan…how far you have fallen.Alright, we’ve done the cars I would actually drive, and now it's time for the cars that I would own and only use as investments (I like money, sue me), these are cars I would only use to flip for more money. as these things only appreciate. The Investments1962 Ferrari 250 GTOWorth $50 Million1961 Aston-Martin DB4 GT ZagatoOne was sold at an auction for $15.45 Million.Ferrari 275 GTB/C SpecialeThis baby sold for $28.5 MillionI’d take the free money, buy these cars, resell them and I’d be set for life.

What's a good 7 hour visit to Bogota - Colombia?

I think Giliana gave the completest answer possible, so I will try to complement her idea.As soon as you arrive to the airport you can ask a person to show you where to take the Transmilenio Alimentador bus (16–14), which is free. You have to get off at the station called Portal El Dorado, as you can see in the following picture:Once at El Portal El Dorado you can take the #1 Transmilenio as Giliana said, or take the bus B23 and get off at Calle 26. In this last station, you have to take the J24 and you’ll get to Universidades really quickly. It is clear that the easiest way is to take the #1 transmilenio, but I am giving you an alternative route just in case. Then, you have to walk through the tunnel until you get to the exit. Once you are out of the station, walk in a straight line until you see this:This place is called La Plaza de los Periodistas. If you follow the road where the transmilenios go (the brick road in the photo), you will get to the station Museo del Oro. Turn left and you will see the Museum! The walk I have just described is called El Eje Ambiental. As others have said, The Museo del Oro is definitely a must-see. You don’t have the time to take a look at all of its rooms, so you will have to choose some of them. The cost is $4000 pesos. After that, I suggest you to walk towards the Plaza Bolivar. According to Google Maps you should only take 8 minutes to walk from The Gold Museum to the Plaza. I would recommend you to ask someone how to get there, either way the path is really easy to follow.Besides from being amazed at the Catedral Primada and the architecture of the buildings around the plaza, take some time to feed the pidgeons! That’s a thing I always do there and I guarantee you it is really fun! That white house you can see at the corner is the Museum of the Independence (Casa del florero). I really do not find this museum that enjoyable, but since you are a foreigner you can check it out and learn a little bit of Colombia’s history, including the extreme importance of this house in our independence from Spain. I don’t remember the exact cost of the entry, but I think it is really cheap. You won’t take more than 20 minutes in this museum. Now the time to recommend you restaurants. You should definitely try Ajiaco in this brief visit, and I know 2 restaurantes located really near to the plaza Bolivar where you can find this delicious dish.La puerta falsa: Oldest restaurant in Bogotá, it has been operating since 1816 and it is literally 1 minute away from the plaza of Bolivar. You can read this article in case you want to know some of the history behind this place El restaurante La Puerta Falsa cumplirá dos siglos este año :).2. El mejor ajiaco del mundo: The name is pretty suggestive, isn’t it? It is located 1 minute away too from the plaza of Bolivar. I went so long ago that I can’t remember how good this restaurant was (I am sorry), but I hope you can read some reviews over the internet and make your choice between these and some other restaurants!Around the plaza there are many places to drink a cup of coffee, but honestly I don’t remember a specific one at the moment. As others said, Juan Valdez is always a great option. Finally, I want to give you an advice: be careful with your belongings, due to the fact that several homeless and pickpockets frequent this area. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your swift visit!
