Hello! So Trump finally let the cat come out of the bag. Honestly, Sean, to do, to have great health insurance. The one thing I do tell people, we’re going to have something great. We’re going to repeal and replace Obamacare, which is a total disaster."https://hannity.com/articles/shows-472046/radio-show-recap-sep-1-13910544/2016: Trump tweeted in February that he would immediately repeal and replace Obamacare and that his plan would save money and result in better health care.We will immediately repeal and replace ObamaCare - and nobody can do that like me. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 26, 2019Still waiting… Two days later he told reporters; “we’re working on a plan now,” but again updated the timeline, saying, “There’s no very great rush from the standpoint” because he was waiting on the court decision for Obamacare. Texas: A Guide to the Case Challenging the ACAOn April 3 of last year:I was never planning a vote prior to the 2020 Election on the wonderful HealthCare package that some very talented people are now developing for me & the Republican Party. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 3, 2019On June 16 he told ABC News this: “We’re going to produce phenomenal health care. And we already have the concept of the plan. And it’ll be much better health care,” Trump told George Stephanopoulos. When Stephanopoulos asked if he was going to tell people what the plan was, Trump responded: “Yeah, we’ll be announcing that in two months, maybe less.” Trump vows 'phenomenal' new health care planA mere ten days later on June 26, Trump said this in a speech to the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to the Majority conference. “If we win the House back, keep the Senate and keep the presidency, we’ll have a plan that blows away ObamaCare,” Trump's health care pitch to focus on lowering costsOct. 3:He reiterated this post-2020 election pledge in a speech to Florida retirees. “If the Republicans take back the House, keep the Senate, keep the presidency — we’re gonna have a fantastic plan.” Trump promotes private Medicare coverage, drawing contrast with Democrats' health care plansOct. 25:Trump told reporters that Republicans have a “great” health care plan. “You’ll have health care the likes of which you’ve never seen.” Reality Check: Trump’s ‘Great’ Health-Care Plan Still Doesn’t Exist2020: ‘Two Weeks’Feb. 10:During a White House Business Session with governors, Trump commented on the Republican governors’ lawsuit to undo the ACA and whether protections for preexisting conditions would be lost: “If a law is overturned, that’s OK, because the new law’s going to have it in.” President Trump speaks at the White House Business Session with our Nation’s GovernorsMay 6:During the signing of a proclamation to honor National Nurses Day, Trump again said Obamacare would be replaced “with great healthcare at a lesser price, and preexisting conditions will be included and you won’t have the individual mandate.” Column: Trumpcare is -- wait for it! wait for it! -- still comingJuly 19:Golfin Von Fatfuk told Chris Wallace in a Fox News interview that a health care plan would be unveiled within two weeks: “We’re signing a health care plan within two weeks, a full and complete health care plan that the Supreme Court decision on DACA gave me the right to do.” Transcript: 'Fox News Sunday' interview with President TrumpJuly 31:With no sign of a plan yet, reporters asked Trump about it at a Florida event. The Trump administration has backed the effort to overturn the ACA — including these protections — now pending before the Supreme Court. Trump says he's working on health insurance executive order on pre-existing conditionsAug. 10:In response to a reporter’s question about why he was planning to issue an executive order when the ACA already protects those with preexisting conditions, Trump said: “Just a double safety net, and just to let people know that the Republicans are totally strongly in favor of … taking care of people with pre-existing conditions. It’s a second platform. We have: Preexisting conditions will be taken care of 100% by Republicans and the Republican Party.” Trump: order on pre-existing conditions a 'double safety net' despite Obamacare lawDid I mention that gutting Obamacare will cause 20 million Americans to lose their health insurance? And the 7 million plus Americans who tested positive this year for Covid—and luckily survived—have now a pre-existing condition? Trump is adamant on the destruction of every benefit and protection of the ACA, including life-saving protections for 135 million Americans with pre-existing conditions.Let that sink in for you readers, especially Trump supporters, when you’re going to vote this November 3…

Could modern day humans, with all their technology, defeat a T-Rex? If so, what would it take?

I think you’re confusing a T-Rex with Godzilla. You see this is a T-Rex, in a handy size comparison chart so you can see how it compares in size to an average African Elephant. This is Godzilla, King of the Monsters, and not-so-subtle Nuclear Weapons allegory:Now Godzilla, obviously as you can see from the documentary of the same name is very difficult to kill, even with our most advanced weapons, because they keep putting out more wildlife documentaries starring him and his friends.A T-Rex, however, despite the VERY funny running Japanese tourists scene in Jurassic Park:Is just a large animal, bigger than an elephant, quite a bit smaller than a whaleNo, it would not take anywhere near “All of the technology of modern Humans” to defeat a T-Rex.Just some careful planning and a decent caliber long rifle. I mean, it IS a T-Rex, I’ll at least respect it enough to use a good 50 caliber sniper rifle to take it out from a half mile away. But T-Rex doesn’t stand much of a chance.

Why do Trump supporters expect liberals to suddenly work with them?

Be assured: my anti-Republican credentials are second-to-none. But let me float an idea that may seem heresy, but is an attempt to rise above the partisan grid lock.Let’s go for health care as a right. Fresh from a stinging slap in the face from the American people, even Trump is talking about “sitting down with the Democrats” to craft a truly national health care plan. Every other advanced country in the world has one. Every one!Graphic: we rank last, but our per capita cost is double.Republicans would have to give up their nonsense about health care being a commodity that can be bought and sold like tuna fish or toilet paper. Don’t like your doctor? No problem! Go shopping for a new one. Please.No. Republicans would need to understand that health care is a right, and everyone in this country has that right. We’re not going to leave 50 million people out in the cold as their blatantly cruel American Health Care plan would have. Shame. And Democrats? Democrats would go for a Medicare For All (MFA) system, but with private insurance company participation. As a senior, I can tell you Medicare works well. Currently, Medicare is a purely government run operation. To bring Republicans on board MFA, companies like Kaiser, Aetna, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield and all the other profit-making machines would need to be included. However, the insurance companies would have a purely “back office” role, not a determinative one,, such as: “That drug would save your life? But it would cost $250,000. We really don’t see a good cost to yield ratio here. Denied.”Look, Republicans infuriate me as much as the next liberal. Mitch McConnell, “muzzled” my Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren when she tried quoting a letter from Coretta Scott King containing scathing references to Senator Sessions when he was Assistant U.S. Attorney in Alabama. The move backfired on McConnell: his act gave Warren a megaphone. I seethed.I say, put it all aside and work toward something this country desperately needs, something monumental: a national health care system where health care is a right. For all Americans. Then we can go back to bitching at one another.Edit: A Commenter was unhappy with my saying we all have a right to health care. He pointed out no such “right” is now found in our Constitution. Well, let’s amend it. We amended for fire arms which are not healthy so I think we can do it for health care. What do you think?
