The professor mentioned that she lived in a small Vermont town, which Birch excitedly shared was the same town her mother had grown up in. When Birch told her professor her mother's maiden name, that's when things got really eerie—they realized that the professor now lived in the very same house her mother had grown up in.22Solar eclipses require such specific conditions they're almost impossible.ShutterstockJust as we have remarkable coincidences, so does our solar system. The total solar eclipse is such a strange and unlikely occurrence that throughout history, it's been interpreted as a paranormal omen and mythologized with folklore. Though the sun and moon are very different sizes, the phenomenon is able to take place because the sun is about 400 times wider than the moon, but also 400 times farther away, making the two appear the same size. According to LiveScience, if the sun were any bigger or the moon were any further away, we would likely never see a total solar eclipse, because the moon wouldn't appear wide enough to block our view.23Flight 666 flew into HEL on Friday the 13th.There are a lot of "coincidences" (read: far-flung conspiracy theories) on the internet involving the number 666, but this story happens to be true! Finnair flight 666 departed from Copenhagen and landed in Helsinki (HEL) on Friday the 13th. You read that right: Flight 666 flew straight to HEL on the most nefarious of days. The colleague was shocked by William's incredible likeness to Jorge, and told him what she'd seen. When she showed Jorge a picture of the man in the butcher shop, they pulled up his Facebook page only to discover that he was in many pictures with someone that looked just like Jorge's own brother, Carlos. Ultimately, the team decides that they must turn to cannibalism to survive, and they draws straws to decide who will be sacrificed so that the rest may live. The character chosen (and subsequently eaten) was named Richard Parker.In 1884, a real ship was shipwrecked and one of the mates—also named Richard Parker—became ill after drinking sea water. The rest of the crew decided out of desperation to kill and eat Parker before he became too tainted by disease. This British Dennis was a bit more sinister than his American counterpart, intentionally rather than inadvertently causing chaos. Beyond the coincidence of the ships' names and both being described as "unsinkable," it is reported that both the fictional Titan and the Titanic ran into trouble after hitting icebergs on the starboard side of the ship. It turns out that the boys had been separated as part of a "nature vs. nurture" study by a New York psychologist in the 1960s. For starters, the very likelihood of conceiving twins is relatively low at 33 in 1,000, but frequently, the uncanny circumstances run deeper than that—and the "Jim Twins" are a prime example. Separated at birth and raised by different families in Ohio, they finally met at the age of 39. Both sets of adopted parents named the boys James and called them "Jim" for short. Both men married twice; remarkably, both first wives were named Linda and both second wives were named Betty. Both had one son, who they had both named James Allen. She then met her husband, who was sitting at a nearby café, and showed him the copy. His jaw dropped when he saw what was written inside: her name and address. The copy had been hers, when she was a child.33The Simpsons predicted Donald Trump's presidency.It's not the only accurate prediction to come out of The Simpsons' writer's room, but it sure is the most extraordinary: in 2000, the show ran an episode that saw Donald Trump as President. While some may argue that the show's predictions can be explained, let's also keep in mind that pundits, pollsters, most of the American population, and even Donald Trump himself were all astounded by Trump's win. Whether writers for The Simpsons have a fortune teller on speed dial or are uniquely in tune with the pulse of the American people, this was a pretty remarkable prediction (unless, of course, the cartoon gave him the idea to run).34Alec Guinness predicts James Dean's death.Warner Bros./IMDBIn the case of the car that killed James Dean, there's a real question of whether we're looking at an unfortunate series of coincidences, a curse, or some shoddy engineering. According to Jalopnik, when Alec Guinness saw the "sinister" looking car, he told Dean, "If you get in that car, you will be found dead in it by this time next week." Seven days later, he was. To the rest of us, however, the fact is undeniably eerie. Helen had been battling Alzheimer's for over six years, and could have succumbed to her disease at any time. But, according to Newsweek, the events took an odd turn when Xu discovered that 30 years prior, he had actually saved the boy's father from drowning as well. With those odds, it's clear why some people believe in guardian angels!39Roberto Clemente became the first baseball player to reach 3,000 hits—on his last day playing ball.Shutterstock/catwalkerPittsburgh Pirates right fielder Roberto Clemente made baseball history by becoming the first Latin American player (and 11th in the entire Major League) to reach 3,000 hits in 1972. The coincidence of it all? This highly anticipated milestone would be his last hit ever on the Major League field, according to the MLB. The Hall of Famer was unfortunately killed shortly after in a plane crash off the coast of Puerto Rico while en route to a humanitarian trip in Nicaragua.40Royce Burton explained how a Texas Ranger saved his life—and the ranged walked in, mid-story,As reported by CNN, Royce Burton experienced an incredible coincidence in front of an entire classroom of witnesses. Burton, a teacher at a New Jersey university, decided to tell his class a story that had taken place in 1940, back when he was a Texas Ranger in the Rio Grande. As the story went, he had become disoriented while climbing out of a canyon, and nearly lost his balance just as he reached the top. At just the right moment, another Ranger stepped in and dragged him to safety by his rifle strap. The two connected, but lost touch when they both enlisted as soldiers in World War II. Just as he recounted the story, who should walk into the classroom but Joe, the other ranger. Joe had tracked him down all those years later and just happened to walk in at the precise moment he was telling the story.

I think, for me personally, I find the worst thing about the war, was the shameful fact that the death trains and the Death camps were actually clearly photographed from allied fighter planes flying over them on reconnaissance missions quite early on during the war.Hitler Heydrich Himmler and the other Nazi party leaders including Marshal of France Phillipe Petain of the VICHY Regime sent young children like Ann Frank to the gas chamber and death camps. Antartica is clearly shown and identified on the Gerardus Mercator Map dated 1595.HerodotusThe earliest extant source that mentions Hyperborea in detail, Herodotus's Histories (Book IV, Chapters 32–36), dates from circa 450 BC.However, Herodotus recorded three earlier sources that supposedly mentioned the Hyperboreans, including Hesiod and Homer, the latter purportedly having written of Hyperborea in his lost work Epigoni: "if that be really a work of his". Herodotus also wrote that the 7th-century BC poet Aristeas wrote of the Hyperboreans in a poem (now lost) called Arimaspea about a journey to the Issedones, who are estimated to have lived in the Kazakh Steppe.Beyond these lived the one-eyed Arimaspians, further on the gold-guarding griffins, and beyond these the Hyperboreans.Herodotus assumed that Hyperborea lay somewhere in Northeast Asia.Pindar, Simonides of Ceos and Hellanicus of Lesbos, contemporaries of Herodotus in the 5th century BC, each briefly described or referenced the Hyperboreans in their works.Location of Hyperborea[edit]The Hyperboreans were believed to live beyond the snowy Riphean Mountains.According to Pausanias: "The land of the Hyperboreans, men living beyond the home of Boreas."Homer placed Boreas in Thrace, and therefore Hyperborea was in his opinion north of Thrace, in Dacia.Sophocles (Antigone, 980–987), Aeschylus (Agamemnon, 193; 651), Simonides of Ceos (Schol. on Apollonius Rhodius, 1. 121) and Callimachus (Delian, [IV] 65) also placed Boreas in Thrace.Ancient identification with BritainHyperborea was identified with Britain first by Hecataeus of Abdera in the 4th century BC, as in a preserved fragment by Diodorus Siculus:In the regions beyond the land of the Celts there lies in the ocean an island no smaller than Sicily. This island, the account continues, is situated in the north and is inhabited by the Hyperboreans, who are called by that name because their home is beyond the point whence the north wind (Boreas) blows; and the island is both fertile and productive of every crop, and has an unusually temperate climate.Hecateaus of Abdera also wrote that the Hyperboreans had on their island "a magnificent sacred precinct of Apollo and a notable temple which is adorned with many votive offerings and is spherical in shape". Some scholars have identified this temple with Stonehenge.Diodorus, however, does not identify Hyperborea with Britain, and his description of Britain (5.21–23) makes no mention of the Hyperboreans or their spherical temple. (See the section "Legends" below.)Pseudo-Scymnus, around 90 BC, wrote that Boreas dwelled at the extremity of Gaulish territory, and that he had a pillar erected in his name on the edge of the sea (Periegesis, 183). Some have claimed this is a geographical reference to northern France, and Hyperborea as the British Isles which lay just beyond the English Channel.Ptolemy (Geographia, 2. 21) and Marcian of Heraclea (Periplus, 2. 42) both placed Hyperborea in the North Sea which they called the "Hyperborean Ocean".In his 1726 work on the druids, John Toland specifically identified Diodorus' Hyperborea with the Isle of Lewis, and the spherical temple with the Callanish Stones.LegendsAlong with Thule, Hyperborea was one of several terrae incognitae to the Greeks and Romans, where Pliny, Pindar and Herodotus, as well as Virgil and Cicero, reported that people lived to the age of one thousand and enjoyed lives of complete happiness. Hecataeus of Abdera collated all the stories about the Hyperboreans current in the fourth century BC and published a lengthy treatise on them, lost to us, but noted by Diodorus Siculus (ii.47.1–2).Also, the sun was supposed to rise and set only once a year in Hyperborea, which would place it above or upon the Arctic Circle, or, more generally, in the arctic polar regions.The ancient Greek writer Theopompus in his work Philippica claimed Hyperborea was once planned to be conquered by a large race of soldiers from another island (some have claimed this was Atlantis), the plan though was abandoned because the soldiers from Meropis realized the Hyperboreans were too strong for them and the most blessed of people; this unusual tale, which some believe was satire or comedy, was preserved by Aelian (Varia Historia, 3. 18).Theseus visited the Hyperboreans and Pindar transferred Perseus's encounter with Medusa there from its traditional site in Libya, to the dissatisfaction of his Alexandrian editors.Apollonius wrote that the Argonauts sighted Hyperborea, when they sailed through Eridanos.Hyperboreans in DelosOn this 1570 map, Hyperborea is shown as an Arctic continent and described as "Terra Septemtrionalis Incognita" (Unknown Northern Land). Notice the similarities in the continent to that of Mercator's map above.Alone among the Twelve Olympians, Apollo was venerated among the Hyperboreans, the Hellenes thought: he spent his winter amongst them.According to Herodotus, offerings from the Hyperboreans came to Scythia packed with straw, and they were passed from tribe to tribe until they arrived at Dodona and from them to other Greek peoples until they to came to Apollo's temple on Delos. He says they used this method because the first time the gifts were brought by two maidens, Hyperoche and Laodice, with an escort of five men, but none of them returned. To prevent that, since then the Hyperboreans brought the gifts to their borders and asked their neighbours to deliver them to the next country and so on until they arrived to Delos.Herodotus also details that other two virgin maidens, Arge and Opis, had come from Hyperborea to Delos before, as a tribute to the goddess Ilithyia for ease of child-bearing, accompanied by the gods themselves. The maidens received honours in Delos, where the women collected gifts from them and sang hymns to them.Abaris the HyperboreanMain article: Abaris the HyperboreanA particular Hyperborean legendary healer was known as "Abaris" or "Abaris the Healer" whom Herodotus first described in his works. Plato (Charmides, 158C) regarded Abaris as a physician from the far north, while Straboreported Abaris was Scythian like the early philosopher Anacharsis (Geographica, 7. 3. 8).Physical appearanceGreek legend asserts that the Boreades, who were the descendants of Boreas and the snow-nymph Chione (or Khione), founded the first theocratic monarchy on Hyperborea. This legend is found preserved in the writings of Aelian:This god [Apollon] has as priests the sons of Boreas [North Wind] and Chione [Snow], three in number, brothers by birth, and six cubits in height [about 3 metres].Diodorus Siculus added to this account:And the kings of this (Hyperborean) city and the supervisors of the sacred precinct are called Boreadae, since they are descendants of Boreas, and the succession to these positions is always kept in their family.The Boreades were thus believed to be giant kings, around 10 feet (3.0 m) tall, who ruled Hyperborea.No other physical descriptions of the Hyperboreans are provided in classical sources.However, Aelius Herodianus, a grammarian in the 3rd century, wrote that the mythical Arimaspi were identical to the Hyperboreans in physical appearance (De Prosodia Catholica, 1. 114) and Stephanus of Byzantium in the 6th century wrote the same (Ethnica, 118. 16). The ancient poet Callimachus described the Arimaspi as having fair hair but it is disputed whether the Arimaspi were Hyperboreans.From east to west: Celts as HyperboreansSix classical Greek authors also came to identify these mythical people at the back of the North Wind with their Celtic neighbours in the north: Antimachus of Colophon, Protarchus, Heraclides Ponticus, Hecataeus of Abdera, Apollonius of Rhodes and Posidonius of Apamea. The way the Greeks understood their relationship with non-Greek peoples was significantly moulded by the way myths of the Golden Age were transplanted into the contemporary scene, especially in the context of Greek colonization and trade. As the Riphean mountains of the mythical past were identified with the Alps of northern Italy, there was at least a geographic rationale for identifying the Hyperboreans with the Celts living in and beyond the Alps, or at least the Hyperborean lands with the lands inhabited by the Celts. A reputation for feasting and a love of gold may have reinforced the connection.In Ireland, however, the Celts had their own legends of advanced civilization in the far north. The Book of Invasions records that this civilization was established by migrants from Ireland, whose descendants returned to settle Ireland several centuries later:Bethach son of Iarbonel the Soothsayer son of Nemed: his descendants went into the northern islands of the world to learn druidry and heathenism and diabolical knowledge, so that they became expert in all the arts. And their descendants were the Tuatha De Danann ... These latter acquired knowledge and science and diabolism in four cities: Failias, Goirias, Findlias and Muirias ... Thereafter the Tuatha De Danann came to Ireland, without ships, passing through the air in dark clouds.Other ancient writers, however, believed the home of Boreas or the Riphean Mountains were in a different location. For example, Hecataeus of Miletus believed that the Riphean Mountains were adjacent to the Black Sea.Alternatively Pindar placed the home of Boreas, the Riphean Mountains and Hyperborea all near the Danube.Heraclides Ponticus and Antimachus in contrast identified the Riphean Mountains with the Alps, and the Hyperboreans as a Celtic tribe (perhaps the Helvetii) who lived just beyond them.Aristotle placed the Riphean mountains on the borders of Scythia, and Hyperborea further north.Hecataeus of Abdera and others believed Hyperborea was Britain (see below).Later Roman and Greek sources continued to change the location of the Riphean mountains, the home of Boreas, as well as Hyperborea, supposedly located beyond them. However, all these sources agreed these were all in the far north of Greece or southern Europe.The ancient grammarian Simmias of Rhodes in the 3rd century BC connected the Hyperboreans to the Massagetaeand Posidonius in the 1st century BC to the Western Celts, but Pomponius Mela placed them even further north in the vicinity of the Arctic.In maps based on reference points and descriptions given by Strabo,Hyperborea, shown variously as a peninsula or island, is located beyond what is now France and stretches further north-south than east-west.Other descriptions put it in the general area of the Ural Mountains.Later classical sourcesPlutarch, writing in the 1st century AD, connected the Hyperboreans with the Gauls who had sacked Rome in the 4th century BC (see Battle of the Allia).Aelian, Diodorus Siculus and Stephen of Byzantium all recorded important ancient Greek sources on Hyperborea but added no new descriptions.The 2nd century AD Stoic philosopher Hierocles equated the Hyperboreans with the Scythians and the Riphean Mountains with the Ural Mountains.Clement of Alexandria and other early Christian writers also made this same Scythian equation.This land was supposed to be perfect, with the sun shining twenty-four hours a day, which to modern ears suggests a possible location within the Arctic Circle during the midnight sun-time of year. However, it is also possible that Hyperborea had no real physical location at all, for according to the classical Greek poet Pindar,neither by ship nor on foot would you findthe marvellous road to the assembly of the Hyperboreans.Pindar also described the otherworldly perfection of the Hyperboreans:Never the Muse is absentfrom their ways: lyres clash and flutes cryand everywhere maiden choruses whirling.Neither disease nor bitter old age is mixedin their sacred blood; far from labour and battle, they live.It is interesting that The Herr Doctor was already very much older than official claims when he is supposed to have officially died. However, the editor very much doubts claims about the “death” and feels this is just another cover-up of the truth.He was also very much older even in 1975 when he is supposed to have married into the editors family. Given his advanced knowledge of Science and the Occult, and his direct connection to Nazi experiments and research, some connection between him and the Antartica programme cannot be ruled out.Erma Kreutzche One of the infamous female Concentration camp guards was also asked to design the Uniform for the Antartica German nazi colonists, it was Luftwaffe Sky Blue with yellow badges or facings.His child victims Post war, of which I was merely just ONE, have never received justice.Somewhere in England and America (who paid for his work and protected him and gave him a false identity after the war) there must be a list of those children he performed his “experiments” on after the war. The OSS (now CIA) list should be found, declassified and opened, and compensation paid to the ruined now adult surviving “children” and their families.The Official US Government hearing or Senate “Church” hearing in 1976 officially shut the “experiments” down, but Henri Pierre Noyse,(a former US Navy Aircraft weaponry technician) , (Noyse was born in Paris and therefore was French-born citizen, his CIA handler and paymaster), lost control of the Herr Doctor for some time, and many other evil things were done.Henri Pierre Noyse and the SS Herr Doctor worked together.Instead, the United Kingdom Government and the Ministry of Defence, and the American CIA have whitewashed the entire episode, hounded and persecuted anyone who dares to try to expose the truth about what happened and denied justice and due process to his victims.There have also been assassination attempts made on a key witness. A man was hired and paid by the Herr Doctors family and underground Cult type Political Nazi Organisation founded by the HerrDoctor, to track down and kill the key witness who exposed the true identity of the runaway SS herrr Doctor.And THAT again, on top of not doing anything to stop the Nazi death machinery, is something to be utterly ASHAMED OF.Perhaps, in the end, Noyse or the Herr Doctor “sold out” on Uncle Sam….but then Uncle Sam equally “sold out” on his victims….Uncle “Sam” it seems, is not to be trusted….
