After reading the Skeleton Argument for Summary Judgment, all 35 pages, I definitely think they should testify.So, who are these Royal Aides? From left to right: Christian Jones, Sara Latham, Samantha Cohen and Jason Knauf.These are the members of the Royal household who knew about the drafting of the duchess’s letter to her father. Their lawyers have stated to the court:“None of our clients welcomes his or her potential involvement in this litigation, which has arisen purely as a result of the performance of his or her duties in their respective jobs…Nor does any of our clients wish to take sides in the dispute between your respective clients. Our clients are all strictly neutral. They have no interest in assisting either party to the proceedings.”However, the four said they were “willing” to assist the court. This assistance can be oral as well as any documentation pertaining to the case, for example: e-mails, text messages, voicemails, etc. Text messages are very important because Meghan’s team stated that she can only keep messages for up to 30 days. She was supposed to present messages, but she failed to do that. Meghan Markle’s texts to royal aides were deleted. I personally believe these mesages are extremely important to the case and the Judge should order the cell phone companies to release their records. That is why it’s necessary for these aides to testify, but this could only happen in trial therefore the case should not be dismissed.By going to trial, we will have a better understanding of what really happened. We will have a clear picture regarding the creation of Meghan’s letter, the development of the “electronic draft” and, most importantly, do these Royal Aides share part of the copyright? The defense states that by contributing to the “draft” of the letter, the Royal Aid/Aides become co-author and because of that, Meghan cannot claim full copyrights. The letter was only deemed to be seen by the recipient, Thomas Markle. Meghan shared it with aides, embellished it with calligraphy and in the process she breeched her own privacy. To get to the bottom of this, the Palace four have to testify, there is no other way and they will provide the truth because of the high positions and integrity.One detail I would like to highlight is the fact that Meghan amended her statements. That is a huge stain in her credibility! There are irregularities, she has changed her story more than once and it’s all on record. We shall see.
