I’m a 17 year old student form France. I’m studying Physics-Chemistry-Industrial-Sciences (PCSI) in a Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Écoles (CPGE).Here is the wikipedia page for those who are unfamiliar with this system : Classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles - WikipediaThe workload is very high and the courses are very long and intense.Let me describe you my average monday :6:15 : Alarm clock rings, sometimes fails to wake me up6:30 : Get dressed and ready6:45 : Eat breakfast downstairs7:15 : Go out, walk to the subway station and take the subway7:45 : Arrive at school8:00 : Classes start with 2 and a half hours of Chemistry10:30 : 2 hours of mathematics12:30 : 1 hour long lunch break but actually only 30 minutes because we have to queue and wait for a seat (in France we usually don’t bring our own lunch, we eat at the canteen)13:30 : 2 hours of Industrial Sciences (practical work, we work on scale models and replicas of technical systems)15:30 : 2 hours of mathematics (tutorial class in small groups, we apply what we learned with exercises)17:30 : 1 hour of computer course18:30 : Walk to the subway station and go back home19:00 : Eat dinner19:30 : Get a shower, work on what I studied this day, do homework, check Quora and social medias, chat with friends22:00–23:00 : Go to bed.As you can see we stay longer at school than in most English-speaking countries but we usually have less homework (not true in CPGE, we have a loooot to do at home).And yes, we do have a life ! Well… at least a little bit…For those who want to know, here is what my schedule looks like :Some translations :Chimie = ChemistryMaths = Maths (obviously)TD (Travaux dirigés : “Directed work”) = Tutorial courses : we work on small groups to apply what we’ve learned in class with exercises and problemsTP (Travaux pratiques : “Practical work”) = We do experimentsPhysique = Physics (obviously²)Info/informatique = Computer classSI = Engineering/Industrial sciencesLV1/LV2 = Language courses, LV1 is primary, LV2 is secondary, Ang = English, All = German, Esp = Spanish, Ita = Italian. I only have LV1 EnglishLettres = Litterature (French and Philosophy)EPS = Physical EducationDevoirs ou cours = Test or class

I am using DISC/Motivators, PCSI, Hogan Core and Hogan 360 assessments. In some ways it depends on what challenges they are having and whether or not they have done any assessments recently. I do talk about the situational leadership model with them but not as an assessment. I find the more you can simplify the complexity for them the better they can process it and take action.
