The emoluments clause, also called the foreign emoluments clause, is a provision of the U.S. Constitution(Article I, Section 9, Paragraph 8) that generally prohibits federal officeholders from receiving any gift, payment, or other thing of value from a foreign state or its rulers, officers, or representatives.[1] From day 1 of his term, Trump has broken this clause.He is yet to be held responsible for that.Trump promised to release his taxes if he won the election. He has yet to do so, making excuse after excuse. It’s not a written law that requires him to release his taxes, but in the spirit of things, it shows how he repeatedly breaks his promises.No one holds him responsible.January 27, 2017 NYT article: President Trump on Friday afternoon approved a sweeping executive order that suspended entry of all refugees to the United States for 120 days, barred Syrian refugees indefinitely, and blocked entry into the United States for 90 days for citizens of seven predominantly Muslim countries: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. It also barred green card holders from those countries from re-entering the United States, the Department of Homeland Security said, though the administration said exemptions could be granted.Judges in various district courts declared Trump’s action illegal, but no one really held him accountable for it.Trump created concentration camps to throw “illegals” (Mexicans) in on their way to being deported, no matter how long those people had been living here. This action separated children from parents. A judge ordered the administration to reconnect children with their parents by a certain date. That didn’t happen.No one held Trump accountable.Trump began the longest government shutdown in the history of the US over his wall. He only gave in and ended the shutdown by declaring an illegal national emergency to get his money for the wall another way. He has diverted funds illegally trying to get his wall no matter what anyone else says.Not only has no one held him accountable for this, but the small portion of his wall he actually got built has already collapsed from high winds. And it collapsed on the Mexican side.At every stage of the Mueller investigation, he prohibited his “people” from testifying. The sheer number of people who have ignored subpoenas from Congress during Trump’s term is unprecedented. He refused to hand over documents requested under subpoena. He had personal lawyers instigate lawsuits to prevent investigators from obtaining data that would make him look bad (i.e. Deutschland Bank, Capitol One, Mazars USA - his accounting firm, etc.). He admitted on live tv that he withheld documents during his impeachment trial.He got away with it all. Republican Senators refused to see any of that as obstruction of justice.After all of that, are we really wondering if THIS - his attack on the jurors in the Roger Stone trial - is “out of bounds” for the president? It’s just another case of SSDD.I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: we’ve passed the point where he could shoot someone on 5th Ave and he’d get away with it. The repetitive OVERHEAD and the “copyright attribution” was taking up more ‘characters’ on ONE ‘page’ than any HUNDRED Pages of the actual ‘work’ being done and presented.By 2010 I all but quit “peeking” - the whole thing became so vaingloriously wasteful all it did was add to my “ODD”, Colitis, Reflux and chest pains.So remember, to make a name for yourself, you must render it impossible for anyone to claim your name; Never write “Neil” where you can write “N e i l” and thus prevent “Find” from locating “Neil”, and the more gobbledygook you can put between each ‘letter’ the more “Secure” it is and “Security” is always only the Prime Directive in “dangerous times”, and, face it, in more than 6 thousand years, have you EVER HEARD ANYONE NOT Remind you “these are dangerous times”.
