It was not quite assault but a serious injury. My brother was seriously hurt at school at lunch time. No teacher’s were on duty and he had to be taken to the office by an eight year old classmate. From there he was taken to hospital by ambulance. Lip cut right through from mouth to nose.My mother couldn’t get a straight answer from the school about what happened, so asked a neighbour to find out what happened. The neighbour was a senior figure at the department of education and he asked for the school incident report. None filed.The school denied incident occurred despite the ambulance call being logged. Full inspection of the school was ordered from Principal down. Again the Principal denied that the incident occurred as teachers were drinking (last week of school, it was the 1960’s). Asked who was in duty and full report of what happened or else!This differed substantially to doctors report as teacher was not there as supposed to be. My brother was kicking an open can with a friend. His friend kicked it hard and the jagged edge of the can got my brother in the face.Teacher did not know when or where incident occurred or the nature of the injury. Goodbye. Principal lied and falsified documents. Allowed to quit before being sacked. several other teacher’s failed competency hearings and got reprimanded, transferred and in one case, lost their job. Less to blame as poor leadership ruled.Parents working class but mum knew the official through church before they moved to our area. School principals just can’t look at a working class person and think they won’t have contacts. Career suicide. It is not just the wealthy who know people!

My sense from having talked with many Romanians is that there is little love for Russians. One issue is that prior to World War I, the Romanians sent their gold reserves to Russia for safe keeping but the Russians did not return the gold after the war (because the government changed?)More importantly is the effect upon Romania of the Soviet occupation immediately following World War II. It is page after page of incident reports. Typical stories are Russian soldiers stealing things, or raping women, or killing people, or damaging buildings, and much more. Reading the book I get the sense of a reign of terror committed by the Russian Army.This corresponds to the stories I’ve been told. Numerous folks tell of incidents along the lines of Russian soldier breaks into a house, with several wristwatches on his arm, and shouts “give me your wristwatch or I show you my pistol”. I’ve heard hints of even worse stories.Fortunately for Romania the country did not endure direct Soviet rule for very long. But I understand the people were forced to learn some Russian.Given that history I can understand why Romanians do not much like Russians.Final point is there is a cultural difference. Romania is a Latin-based culture that is surrounded by Slavic cultures. For Romania to retain as much of its Latin heritage as it has, it had to stand strong against Slavic influences. Orthodox church services were done in Slavonic for quite some time, because that’s what was available, and it of course had an influence on Romanian culture. One has to recognize the steadfastness of Romanians to stick with Latin heritage, for over a thousand years insisting “Sunt Roman” while enduring threats from Ottoman, Turkish, Hun, and other cultures.

I agree with the top rated answer. So many people want to believe that hate crimes are being committed against the Left by conservatives but that’s just not true. They are crimes faked by the Left & the Media, to perpetuate a narrative that does not exist. America is no longer a heavily racist country. The media tried to say hate crimes were up, but they were self-reported… not proven or solved cases. In November 2016 the media constantly reported 13 fake hate crimes. Here are some more.-A student at Bowling Green said White males wearing Trump shirts threw rock at her and yelled racial slurs. This sparked rage on the campus, and called for a town hall. Turned out to be... untrue.-12/21/16 Female Muslim student at UofM said a white male attacked her & threatened to burn her hijab... Michigan Council of American Islamic Relations, otherwise known as “C.A.I.R.” Called for the incident to be investigated as a “hate crime” saying, “the alleged attack is just the latest anti-muslim incident reported since the election of Trump.” She made it up.-A reporter for the Intercept Juan Thompson was convicted & sentenced to 60 months in prison for making bomb threats against Jewish community centers, blamed on..... Trump Supporters. Come to find out they were really threats against his ex girlfriend.-March 2017, female UofM student Haylee Bass said she was attacked by a Trump supporter with a safety pin... She plead guilty to making up the crime, and come to find out... it was her attacking with a pin.-November 2017, black man’s car vandalized with racist messages that happened near Kansas State University. Classes were cancelled because the cry baby liberals were so upset come to find out... the black man did it himself... police.. did not charge him.-November 2018 Goucher college students demand social justice training and safe spaces in response to racist, nazi, & Klan graffiti was found inside dorms.. Trump supporters were blamed. One student said “I’ve seen white supremacy be tolerated students are angry that white supremacists are getting pretty bold now with Donald Trump as President. We’ve got to act!” come to find out a black student named Flynn Arthur was charged with the hoax. The paper said “He has a lot of built up anger”-September 2018, a black woman in Long Island, said 4 teenage Trump supporters approached her and said “You don’t belong here anymore, go back to Africa.” She found her tire slashed. Come to find out... she fabricated the story.-December 2018, Muslim Woman said she was virtually attacked on a New York Subway, by 3 Trump supporters, that threatened to rip off her hijab. Turns out she lied. Council of American Muslim Relations said “Muslims are under tremendous psychological stress. That’s what causes incidents like this to happen.” .. to make up a story?-Student at University of Louisiana said 2 white racist Trump supporters robbed her... she made it up.-Black church in Mississippi, burned in arson attack. “Vote Trump!” Was written on the building. Come to find out the man responsible was a black church worker.-After the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre, Trump supporters were blamed for the nazi graffiti inside a synagogue in Brooklyn. Turns out, it was a gay black man who had worked with the city council on an initiative to “fight hate crimes,” he also played the Organ at the church.-Heil Trump swastika, and anti-gay slur graffiti on a church in Indiana. Turns out.. It was the gay Parishioner who did it...The Left has been selling a fake race war. They are appealing to people who have been psychologically trained by the education system. The civil rights movement was a demand for people to “Not” be treated differently because of who they are. It was a demand for people to be treated like everyone else. Identity politics is the opposite of that. It demands that not only do we treat people differently because of who they are, but condemn some—and elevate others based on a benefit we have assigned to a particular identity.This is how the left is “regressive” not “progressive” they want to regress to a former society. This is how retrograde the Left has become. Their goal is to make people hate each other by manipulating their emotions. Trust me there are many, many more stories..As racism and phobias have declined, Democrats have struggled to keep it alive. The Achilles’ heel of the left has been its dependence on menace for power. Think of all the things it can ask for in the name of fighting menaces like “systemic racism” and “structural inequality.” But what happens when the evils that menace us begin to fade, and then keep fading from our society?That is a profound problem for the political left, whose existence is threatened by the diminishment of racial oppression. Racism is no longer menacing enough to support its own power. The great crisis for the left today—the source of its angst & hatefulness—is its own encroaching obsolescence.
