In addition to an invention having to be new, to patent anything, you also have to be the inventor.I don't understand why most people don't know this. The mad rush to the patent office with a stolen idea may exist in fiction, but it's not the way the real world works. When you apply for a patent, including in India, you have to make a sworn declaration that you are the inventor.
