I'm assuming that you're going in the latter half of this year. Incase you are going in late September- early October- The Oktoberfest is definitely recommended. This depends on the purpose of your visit, I'm going to assume that you are going for a vacation as a tourist. I'm also assuming you're going to take a Schengen Visa which will let you visit 25 countries with one visa. You can also take a UK Visa if you would like to visit that part of Europe.Eastern and Western Europe differ majorly in their cultures & kind of people.While I'm unable to have a unbiased judgement, I would say visit Austria(Vienna: 1N- Because you just cannot miss Vienna if you're going to Europe!) Czech Republic(Prague), Poland(Krakow-2N) & Hungary(Budapest). Unlike flights in India, many flights in Europe are very cheap provided you look for the right ones, I'll explain that part a little further in this answer.My reason for mentioning the same is, you can visit different parts of Europe without wasting much time on traveling and yet not over-spending. So even in a tight 10 day schedule where you would like to visit countries that are closeby, you can manage a Spain-Greece-Estonia. You will land up wasting a day in transfers and it isn't as economical as you would expect.To get good deals on flight tickets, you can use the discounts that come by downloading/using the mobile app of the particular travel website(Goibibo/yatra etc). Secondly, I personally found Tuesday to be a day to travel with cheaper tickets than rest of the week. I'm not sure how this works, but please do try different days of the week to compare prices, obviously only if you have flexible dates. Also, buying an insurance from the same website. Third, always check for pricing of tickets in Chrome's Incognito tab or clear the cookies of your browser each time you do.That said, you should probably avoid name your price features like those on Hotwire and Priceline, as you probably don't know as much as you think you do. If you're set on it, check out sites like Better Bidding.Pro tip: Use Bing’s fare predictor and Kayak’s historical charts to see which way the wind is blowing.Fourth:This one is all about figuring your internal travel.There is something called a eurail pass available, which I wouldn't recommend but alot of people find it awfully helpful. From my experience, it makes sense for Italy, France & Switzerland(which have very expensive internal travel) but none for Eastern Europe, and I would recommend Eastern Europe over Western.While trains in Europe are connected really well & are much faster than Indian trains, I found them very expensive & time consuming if you want to travel international.None the less, you can use Page on www.raileurope.co.in to book train tickets. Again, the weekends are generally more expensive here.Europe is also very well connected by its bus network which can be accessed using www.eurolines.com. Needless to say, buses are more time consuming but are yet just as or more comfortable than trains. Each country also generally has its own bus network that can help you for international tours( Polskibus, Orangeways, Student agency and many more) which are generally pretty cheap and have a higher frequency than flights or trains.Talking about Flights in europe, please visit http://www.edreams.com to view the cheap europe airline prices. Main airlines to look out for: Ryanair, Easyjet & Wizz air.Always remember, these airline prices DO NOT include checked-in luggage and have a limitation for the hand luggage size, and they are stricter about this than the security at their airports-no kidding. For reviews on them you can check the above sites or http://www.tripadvisor.com but I would suggest you book your vacation by emailing the hostel directly. Please remember, hostels run on a pretty low budget & the do a lot to make your stay amazing-- By booking on hostelworld or hostelbookers a 5-20% of your booking rate is kept with them. However, whatever makes you more comfortable is worth it :)In hostels, only your booking fee is paid online the rest can be paid once you reach there, which makes cancellation really easy.Hostels also give you a welcome kit( A map with important places marked, TONNES of brochures for nearby activities& tours which is all you need during your stay)Travelling with family/large groups:Booking.com: & Hotels.com are both good enough. I personally found Booking.com cheaper but hotels.com has a system where you get nights free after booking a couple of nights with them. You can book apartments over rooms.Also while booking your hostel or hotel please remember the location matters the most, it's okay to shed a few more bucks while booking accommodation because overall you'll be saving.I could also help you with apps to download before you go once you've finalized on your countries.Hope this helps!

A full Circle starting from Chandigarh heading over to Srinagar, covering the entire ladakh region and then heading back via Manali. Route 2 is Delhi Manali Leh Delhi.
