I am currently enrolled in it. Its okayish. Too expensive and not worth the price. It could have easily been cheaper. The faculty has been hired by xlri just for conducting online classes. They are not the regular faculty members. Plus they have thick regional accents so its a bit difficult to understand. I would say its pretty average. We got one talent management handbook from xlri. That’s it for paying a bomb. We cant download the lecture because its their intellectual property. They just share their ppt after the lecture which is in pdf format that we can download. Some dont even come prepared and just scribble on the online whiteboard. So its useless. There is no online library. I had done an online course from Symbiosis and it was much better. They gave us access to their online library for 1 entire year (depending on your course duration). Mine was 1 year and it had all the reputed journals and articles from around the world. Only plus side is you get to write xlri on your resume. It helps as a refresher. I am currently employed and I am looking for a career transition so its helping me in refreshing my concepts. You can refresh all your concepts but it wont guarantee you a new job. Dont do it if you dont have a job. It will add value only if you do it on the job. Indian companies have a long way to go and evolve from their orthodox mindsets that only students from tier one colleges will get better jobs at top management. They pay more attention to the degrees and colleges. Certifications are still irrelevant in the Indian market. Certifications are more relevant in US/Canada such as SPHR, CPHR from HRCi. I will not recommend it. Its not worth the price. Research online and find better alternatives. Coursera offers similar courses and gives you degrees from reputed universities abroad and they cost roughly the same. I paid roughly 75k for talent management. Its 65k plus gst. I took an emi so its even more expensive. Better go for some other option.
