Can i get a laptop with i7 7700k or rayzen processor with gtx 1080 8gb ?YES! but, NO. - Not within your budget of ~ INR 1lakh–1.20K.The problem is: “you’ll only get laptop grade parts inside custom laptops under this max limit of INR 1.20K i.e. ~$1792/-”.To get desktop grade parts in your custom Laptop; you’ll need to push your budget up by at least INR 6–10K. Even if you plan to buy your laptop from abroad.In India, Azom Systems is the only company (till date) who sells custom built laptops. Small case will accommodate few desktop grade parts. A big case can easily fit more desktop parts and provide efficient cooling.You’ll also notice XoticPC has listed a Sager laptop as - Sager/Clevo. As it’s over a decade since AMD has been a true competitor in the high end market. If AMD is going to truly compete with Intel this is where they will also look to gain market share. Sneak a peek on 藍天Clevo from time to time, as they need to build a chassi for Ryzen CPUs.XoticPC are mostly the 1st to build a system around the barebone so, keep abreast with both companies to find a Summit Ridge laptop (Ryzen based - desktop grade).In India: as it stands.Azom is the only option but, i cannot say anything about the price as they haven’t updated their site from 6th gen CPUs. There’s no transparent base price or max limit. Nor is there a mention of local service taxes. Unlike XoticPC and other 3rd party retailers.Azom (a 1st party retailer) expects you to use their “Get Quote” link to get details of a custom build and make enquiries. It’s at the top right of their website. They provide end-user personalized options which is reflected in their final overall cost.How reasonable is that final cost? - a question exclusively meant for “present Azom end-users” (not potential users). Find them on FB on Azom’s “customer spotlight” section/post and (more importantly) get in touch with them. Only then you’ll know for sure what you are actually buying into.Ryzen is Officially scheduled to release somewhere in March 2017, no later (by Dr. Lisa Su; CEO of AMD). The Clevo option should be made available as early as June or as late as December 2017; or never. It’s a huge maybe as there’s nothing concrete.This is highly subjected to the actual global and local price:performance of Ryzen CPUs. But, considering the fact: “7th gen has failed to succeed 6th gen; and 8th gen is a mere tweak” - We may hopefully see a Clevo based Ryzen come sooner rather than later.Purpose of laptop is heavy gaming and video/photo editing.Get a quote directly from Azom.Find a present Azom end-user with the same purpose of usage and get their experience of the laptop and then go back to Azom.The comparison should help you decide if the overall price equates to the true performance levels.Keep in mind; a change in RAM, CPU or GPU will have a change on output of rendering your; projects/in-game display.Be meticulous in your search from a present user to cross-check everything; leave nothing to a maybe.Lastly; it’s your laptop and money so, invest a little time in identifying which Clevo would benefits you for the next 2 or 5 years. What you want now is only part of what you need in the future. Unless you want to spend INR 1.20K every 2-3 years.
