Don’t just search google for ADHD, look for sensation and autistic aids, too.Timers. Alarms, even for three more minutes in the oven. I still might forget what the alarm is for, but usually it does help. Alarm Clock Plus by Binary Tactics has a nap timer which is super easy to set from the home screen. Used it for years. Browsers also will start a 5 min countdown, etc, if you google the time you want. I have to do math to shut off morning alarms, which are progressively more difficult to make sure I don’t fall back asleep (also the binary tactics alarm)Calendar: Jorte has great widgets that work with google. I have a daily task list on the home screen. I put lists in google calendar since their tasks are crap now and I haven’t bothered to find a replacement. EVERYTHING goes on the calendar. EVERYTHING. It’s easy to move it if you don’t get to it that day.If I absolutely cannot forget something in the morning, it goes on the doorknob. I’m in nursing school, so everything is prepped (according to my list) and hung on the door before I go to bed before clinical, including the stethoscope. Would seem obvious, but nothing is obvious at 5am. I have to prep the night before, and I have to have a list.Drugs do help, and manufacturers matter I hear. I use vyvanse when I can, which is a newer drug, slow release, that doesn’t make me angry like Adderall did. Each person is different, so if you’re trying something new make sure you’re keeping track of yourself. Helps you have confidence in the medication, or know when it’s not working.Put daily stuff in the same place. Like the other answer, it doesn’t always work. I once found my wallet after two weeks because it’d fallen into the ADF on my printer. Go figure. You can also stick things in your bathroom mirror or write on it to keep up (coupons/tickets always go in my bathroom mirror with the upcoming dates showing). If you need to remember one thing next time you go out, put it on top of your keys.Find a job that is your passion and lets you multitask. I could do a boring data entry job because they let me listen to books. Audiobooks at high speed with music in the background. Coworkers thought I was nuts, but I worked faster that way and they knew it. Now it’s medicine for me. If your job doesn’t inspire and challenge you, you’ll get bored. Create your own distractions if it helps you do your job, or find something else.Coolreader on Android has great background textures for reading. Reading on a white background can get tough for me, so I’m always changing the color on documents and ebooks.Silent games like minesweeper or my buddy or don’t give up for if you’re on the phone or watching a boring video. Learn what will distract you just enough to focus.and don’t stay in bed if you can’t sleep. Get up and do something, then try again in an hour or so. Mental, not too physical, cause exercise will wake you up more.

Russia would have ICQ and mail.ru, China would have QQ and so on.Google is where we interact with your calendar unless it's an Exchange environmentFacebook is our consumer interface for reservations - confirmed email address, confirmed phone number soon (awesome!) == absolute perfection for data qualityLinkedIn is where we read your business contactsTwitter is where we let you promote our service but we don't interact with it in any other meaningful way, hence only there purely as an artifact because we already have credentials for it in our system.As you can see, to us the OpenID aspect of these technologies is immaterial. Sure, we can let you sign-in with an OpenID, but there are already at least two ways to do it that are simply easier for the user. We specifically chose not to have a local userid/password system because we simply must integrate with other services that happen to be identity providers anyway.Consumers will generally login with Facebook because our demographic already has those accounts.Merchants will likely login with Google, but can use any other sign-in method.Business contacts users will likely login with LinkedIn, but can use any other sign-in method.It's really all about reducing signup friction.Whichever method is most convenient and closest to storing the most data we need is what we position as the dominant sign-in option. I expect you to already be logged in to the dominant service on your desktop browser or on your mobile device or at least have an easy way to enter those credentials by way of accepting request to submit stored credentials.For example, from LinkedIn we let you create multiple identities for parallel entrepreneurs. For USA, that data most likely does not exist in your Google account unless you are a heavy Google Profile user, it may exist in your Facebook account, but for potential users of this particular feature it exists with 100% certainty in your LinkedIn account. Then again, in Japan Facebook is used like LinkedIn and I am far more likely to find this data there. That's what I mean by "closest to storing the most data". I have to prompt the user to type in the missing data, which is a friction point.It takes a lot more effort to type on a mobile device and screen size is also very limited. It's a lot more convenient and safer to store your AD credentials and let you login with any of the other four choices. My users can use Facebook to login to a system that in the background uses their AD credentials. That is safer than forcing someone to login to an internal network in a place like Starbucks where shoulder surfing is a significant risk.At the other end of extremes, I have support for things like Salesforce.com authentication that require tokens appended to passwords and per-machine authentication. How likely is an average user who normally does not use a Salesforce.com application to understand something like that?! ;) We provide a SFDC interface, but in reality it is again a technology artifact (other interfaces talk to Salesforce through REST) and there primarily for the convenience of the user who spends her days in SFDC user interface.
