On several occasions I stopped people who had $50 bills paper clipped to their drivers licenses. When they handed it to me, it was obvious it was offered as a bribe. I’d look at it, take it out from under the paper clip, and ask them if they were trying to bribe me. “If it’s yours, I’ll have to arrest you.” Their first reaction was to tell me it wasn’t their money, never saw it before. As soon as they said that, I’d just let it slip out of my fingers into the wind, to blow away, and go ahead with the ticket. Then I’d send them on their way so they coudn’t go look for the money.Of course I’d make a notation on the back of the ticket as to what happened. When I got to court on one occasion, the guy tried to tell the judge I extorted $50 from him. The judge read my ticket copy and asked him if he wasn’t mistaken, that he’d offered me a bribe. It went back and forth and the guy said he’d never paper clipped anything to his DL. The judge looked at the license and the deep crease from the paper clip, and told the guy straight out he didn’t believe him.Then there’s the gal in the mini-skirt and no underwear who made an offer. I wrote on the back of her ticket too. In court, she tried to explain to the judge I tried to proposition her to give her a pass. The judge asked her if she was willing to go into the ladies room to prove her point that she didn’t try to provoke me into accepting a “bribe.” She asked why, and the judge said; “Because the officers notes say that you’re not a real red-head.” She entered a guilty plea, and paid her fine, leaving the court room totally embarrassed. After she left, the judge looked at me and said; “Anything more entertaining on today’s docket?” “No.” I responded. “Maybe next time.”I felt that offering a cop a bribe was an insult as to who he was as a person, and not acceptable.

Do not use Gati at all. Before doing so read there mouthshut reviews.I had an horrible experience with them. Looks like they are all paid reviews.Anyways i booked them on 15th June and and they collected my stuff from my pg. Next day they send me a bill of 13k for packages. I go ahead and pay them in full and wait patiently for 10 days. Now after 10 days when i start calling them for update nobody picked my call. That is were the panic kicked in . i frantically started searching on net and website and then came the shock. I had handed over my goods to GreatGati and not gati ( I should have known when they sent me handwritten bill but stupid me ) now i started reading reviews and researching about them, these guys are usually third parties who collect your stuff and book from gati. They operate their websites and have formed multiple courier companies. In gurgaon itself you will find 20 packers and movers named gati link , new gati etc.Anyways i had handed them my entire original marksheets and 5 days and 500 calls later i took help of a policemen that is when i was told this entire time my stuff was kept in gurgaon itself. Even now they have booked it thru gati kwe and m still waiting for it to be delivered.The whole experience has been terrible , i had sleepless nights thinking about how will i recover my marksheets. In past i have used dtdc few times never had an issue but this whole idea of saving some money led me into this stupidity.Anyways before booking them kindly make sure they are authentic :Google there phone nos. and see if they are operating any websites you will know they are middlemen.Ask them for Docket no immediately, Do not pay on the basis of any hand written bills.All this digital mode has led us to believe online transactions are entirely safe, but its not there are frauds happening everyday. Research some more.Last do not handover anything important.Edit - Got my stuff after one month had to go and collect it from gati warehouse as the local vendor refused to deliver at doorstep.Overall GATI SUCKS
