I darned well better know what they are going to find.

I wouldn’t seriously consider anything other than Westlaw or LEXIS for serious legal research. FindLaw doesn’t do nearly enough for me. It might give me text of a statute or a case, but it won’t link to the case history, identify cases and texts interpreting a statute, or flag a case that has been overturned. I allocate the cost of Westlaw to clients, so it costs me virtually nothing to use it. Why would I use a lesser tool when I can use a far superior one at no additional cost?
