“Before long, you must be prepared to talk about Nietzsche or retire from society.”—George Bernard Shaw, 1906It is vain, perhaps, to attempt to measure a philosopher’s true influence by counting the noses of the disciples who copy his writings upon fresh scrolls. Such disciples bear the same relation to him that Paderewski does to Chopin or Mantel to Shakespeare or Hearst to Karl Marx. Executants are necessary because the world is large, and when the fates are propitious, they sometimes reach the estate and dignity of interpreters, but at bottom they are mere echoes. When Nietzsche titled his book The Dawn of Day, he was far from giving it a merely fanciful title to attract the attention of that large section of the public which judges books by their titles rather than by their contents. The Dawn of Day represent s, figuratively, the dawn of Nietzsche’s own philosophy. Hitherto he had been considerably influenced in his outlook, by Schopenhauer, Wagner, and perhaps also Comte. Human, All-Too-Human, belongs to a period transition. After his rupture with Bayreuth, Nietzsche is, in both parts of that work, trying to stand on his own legs, and to regain his spiritual freedom; he is feeling his way to his own philosophy. The Dawn of Day, written in 1881 under the invigorating influence of a Genoa spring, is the dawn of this new Nietzsche. “With this book I open my campaign against morality, Nietzsche said later in his autobiographical book Ecce Homo.Just as in the case of the books written in Nietzsche’s prime—The Joyful Science, Zarathustra, Beyond Good and Evil, and The Genealogy of Morals— one cannot fail to be impressed in this work of Nietzsche’s deep psychological insight, the insight that shows him to be a powerful judge of men and things unequalled in the 19th century or, perhaps, any other century. For instance, his searching analysis of the Apostle Paul [Aphorism 68], in which the soul of the “First Christian” is ruthlessly and realistically laid bare to us. For course, it was Paul. not Christ, who founded the Christian Church. Nor has the taunt in aphorism 84 elicited an answer from the quarter whither it was directed; and the “free” (not to say dishonest) interpretation of the Bible by Christian scholars and theologians, which is still proceeding merrily, is now being turned to Nietzsche’s own writings. Twenty years after the publication of The Dawn of Day, Nietzsche’s countrymen hailed a book by an English scholar Houston Steward Chamberlain. In this book the Teutons are said to be superior to all the other people in the world, the reason given being that they have kept their race pure. It is due to this purity of race that they have produced so many great men; for every “good” man in history is a Teuton, and every bad man something else. considerable skill is exhibited by the author in filching from his opponents the Latins their best trump cards, and likewise the trump card, Jesus Christ, from the Jews; for Jesus, according to Chamberlain’s argument, was not a Jew but an Aryan, i.e. a member of that great family of which the Teutons are a branch.What would Nietzsche have said to this legerdemain? He has constantly pointed out that the Teutons are so far from being a pure race that they have, on the contrary, done everything in their power to ruin even the idea of a pure race for ever. For the Teutons, through their Reformation and their Puritan revolt in England, and the philosophies developed by the democracies that followed, were the spiritual forbears of the French Revolution and of the Socialistic regime under which we have today. And so the Germans write books, eulogizing themselves as the salt of the earth, the people of the peoples, the race of races, a theme which the Third Reich was its culmination. While in truth they are nothing else than nouveaux-riches endeavoring to draw up a decent pedigree for themselves. We know that honesty is not a prerequisite of such pedigrees, and that partriotism, which Nietzsche also condemned, may be considered as a good excuse even for a wrong pedigree; but the race pandemonium that followed the publication of Chamberlain’s book in Germany was really a very unwise proceeding in view of the false and misleading document produced, what it may be asked again, would Nietzsche have said if he had heard his countrymen screaming odes to their own glory as the “flower of Europe”? He would assuredly have condemned and dismissed their exalted pretensions with a good-natural smile. For his study of history had shown him that even slaves must have their saturnalia now and then. But as to his philosophical answer there can be no doubt. For in aphorism 272 of The Dawn of Day there is a single sentence which completely refutes the view of modern race mongers like Chamberlain and his followers.There are even stronger expressions to be met with in “Peoples and Countries” aphorism 20 of The Genealogy of Morals, “What quagmires and mendacity must there be about if it is possible, in the modern European hotch-potch, to raise the question of ‘race’!” and again, in aphorism 21: “Maxim—to associate with no man who takes any part in the mendacious race-swindle.”A man like Nietzsche who makes little impression upon mankind in general, is certainly not, as some have said, a public danger. There is little danger of Nietzsche’s revolutionizing either the masses or the classes. For as Goethe used to say, “Seulement celui qui ressemble le peuple, l’emeut.” (only the one who looks like people moves them). In the meantime, it will have become clear that Nietzsche tried to stop this threatening degradation of the human race, that he endeavored to supplant the morality of altruism—the cause of this degradation—by another, a super-Christian morality, and that he has succeeded in this aim, if not where the masses and the classes are concerned, at any rate in the case of that small minority of thinkers to which he really wished to appeal. And this minority is naturally grateful to the philosopher for having supplied them with a morality which enables them to be “good” without being fools. I should not, of course, deny—unless I were a fool—that many actions which are called immoral should be avoided and resisted, and in the same way that many which are called moral should be performed and encouraged; but I hold that in both cases these actions should be performed from motives other than those which have prevailed up to the present time.

A world domination would have been lead by Eugenist and Social-darwinism. You have to remember that ALL of what Hitler did was fuelled by this XIXth Century’s “science” (it was NOT a science but people thought that it does at the time for there was physicians associations; Racial Hygiene Institutes; some rich people like Ford (motor company), Van Der Built, Rockefeller, etc. invest in that a very good deal of money, there were “scientific” Reviews, etc.).To understand what would have been done after 1945 if Hitler would have won the war, we have to contemplate what he did between 1933 and 1945 as to Social-Darwinism. Before going through this, let’s remember that Social-Darwinism (SD) was the belief that Human being as Race is becoming weaker in its blood because of the social measures put in place by the State (medicine, antibiotics, allowances for those who lost their job, etc.). If there shouldn’t have been those measures, the weaker would have died and only stronger would have lived. And that is exactly what Hitler wanted to do in many ways. There are positive SD and negative SD. Let’s see it :For him being Jew is a Race (which is completely false. Jew is only a religion, like Catholicism or Muslin) and it is an inferior one ( the reason why he believed it is very long to explain. Maybe I’ll do it if you ask for). So Jews Hitler wanted to get rid of them and this is why he did the Holocaust in Extermination Camps (Sobibor, Madjaneck, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Treblinka, and Chelmno) — that was negative SD.He gave money to Germans who were married and had more than 5 children. The parents had to have Blond hair and blue eyes and show their genealogy profile to ascertain that there was no Jews, Black or anything else than Whites. He gave a Land to those who had more than 10 children — that was positive SD.He asked Himmler to built an elite group of men, with only men who were more than 6,5′ feet tall; who has perfect Ancestors (see number 2 just here above) and who were fully dedicated to the Nazi cause : the SS. That was the SS who was the guardian of genes as they called it. It was its physicians who watched over it — it was positive SD.The SS built an organisation called in German “lebensborn” that we coud translate by “Life well birth” or something like that. The goal of it was to have children racially pure and healthy or children that could be germanized. Thus they encouraged SS men to do children with women considered pure and healthy. They also kidnapped children in conquered States (Poland, Romania, , Slovakia, etc.) and brought them to Lebensborn in maternity houses open in Germany and they made believed to those children that they are German and have to forget their actual parents who was considered as “racial inferior” — that was positive SDHitler — following the thought of Vacher de Lapouge that he had read — thought that war was a very good mean to separate weaker men than stronger men : weaker ones don’t survive so that blood of Nation gets stronger if weaker are dead. That is why Hitler have been provoked the war and that is why he was so disappointed when Chamberlain found a settling over Munich Agreement in September 1938 — that was negative SD.He forbade the marriage between ‘racially pure and healthy men” and persons who were not White or who were Jews.The disabled persons were useless to society for they could not work. Same thing for backwards persons. They cost a lot to the society, eat the food that healthy and pure men and women need so bad so they don’t deserve to live. They were killed upon a program called “T.4” (Tiergarten 4, address of the headquarter that lead that program). First, only adults, but over time they even killed babies and children. And for it cost too much to the State to use CO2 to kill them, they decided just to let them die of starvation — that was negative SD.Hitler cut social allowances, because for him who lost his job don’t deserve to live anymore. So if they couldn’t eat due to a lack of money, that was just good as it can be.People known to be criminal are also left to die in concentration camps, because for Hitler you are criminal into your blood and you get it from your parents who get it from theirs, etc. The environment doesn’t play no part in what a person becomes for SD (which is completely false. Actual science knows today that environment does play a part as well as heredity in what a person comes to be) — that is negative SD.Hitler wanted to have a Nation of Pure race’s men as fast as the “science” (I repeat it : it was NOT a science. That’s why I put it into “ “) can. He asked his SS physicians to make some researches upon the matter. That was within the Concentration and Extermination camps that they did their “experiments”. In Auschwitz, Dr. Mengele have injected Methylen Blue into the eyes of some inmates to see if they could became blue. Much of the inmates taken for those experiments became blind. Mengele also made experiments upon twins children and adult. He wanted to understand why and how 2 human beings can birth instead of just one. If he could understand it, he could multiply the Race much more faster. But he had to kill twins to examine them. He did it with a fuel injection right into the heart to have it stops — that was a positive SDHe asked his SS physicians to find a way to sterilize unworthy living persons at a very very low cost because “traditional ways of sterilizing persons are expensive and should be done only to pure Race’s Germans”. Dr. Karl Clauberg was in charge of that program and he did it in Dachau but most of it in Auschwtiz in 1943–1944. He found a way for women by injecting cement within womb to close it. Of course, that only provoked infections, unbearable pain and often death. For men he only burnt their balls until it detached by itself with X-Rays. The pain was described as terrible for there was no painkillers neither for the procedure nor in its aftermath — that was negative SD.Finally we are coming to the matter which is to know what a world would be upon the domination of Hitler if he had won the war.We can imagine a world dominated by the SS men, with Lebensborn and extermination camps everywhere. Jews would have been eradicated from the surface of the Earth, as well as Blacks, Asiatics, Slaves (that is to say Russians, Romanian, Slovaks, etc.) Muslims, etc.). Criminals, prostitutes, disabled persons, backwards persons would have disappeared from Earth. Polygamy would have been legal and socially accepted for Pure Race persons. If there would not have been war to separate weaker people from stronger, we could imagine that there would be kind of competitions who the looser has to die for having proven himself weak.The society would have been a military one with SS, SA, Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth). Women would have being left in houses to take care of children and husband. Nothing else. No studies for them and they wouldn’t have been allowed to know how to write and read (Hitler in a conversation did say that women don’t have to know how to read and write because they are not able to think !!).And for the rest, I think you have enough material here to continue to speculate what a world would have been under a domination of Nazis.Hope to have help !
