When I was 15 years old I had a really close friend, whose father beat her regularly. He made the mistake of coming within reaching distance of me.We were standing at school one day, about 15 minutes after pickup time, and we were basically the only people in the entire parking lot.When he drove up, I guess he saw his daughter standing alone with a boy, and he was not okay with that. He got out of the car, and grabbed her by the arm and pulled her towards it, but she dropped her backpack so she pulled back to try to grab it. She wasn't just some random girl, she was one of the only people who stood by me after I was kidnapped, everyone else thought I made it all up.I hit him, straight in the gut and knocked the wind out of him. I guess my friend ran for help, and the on campus police came and pulled me off of him, and arrested me right there for assault.
