BTSnamjoon was the only one i could identify out of BTSi thougth jhope was tall, like namjoonchicken noodle soup was of the first songs i listened to. and from that start i KNEW that hobi is GREAT dancerBTS is the only boy group i know EVERYTHING about. the girlgroup is blackpinki thought suga and jhope were brothers or something cause they looked very alikei thought namjoon was the oldest in BTSi thougth bighit was one of the big 3when i did not know BTS’s real names i did the fanchant with their stage names, then i asked fellow kuorans for helpalthough i LOVE BTS i do not own anything related to BTS, except for a single koya keychaini watched hwarang only because V was in it, but i’m happy i did cause i discovered some AMAZING actorswhile seeing the “boy with luv” BTS M/V i thought that RM was not a part of a BTS but an artist they collabed with. it was in the end part where RM is in a white suit.at first i did not like “blue and gray” (from the BE album) but after listening to it a couple times i love it.life goes on was not title track material. it was a forgettable and kinda boring song..BLACKPINKi thought jennie was a vocal of blackpink and lisa was the only rapperi did not know whistle was also the debut song of blackpinki hate ice-cream’s lyrics. but the M/V is so aesthetically pleasing.i thought jennie was second youngesti also thought jennie was the leader in blackpink.a lot of blinks take jisoo as the leader but i do not agree with that. yes jisoo has a mom kind of personality and is very responsible but i can’t see her as a leader of black-pink. also she is not fluent in English; that is not a big deal but just another point. and also in the original 9 member line-up of black-pink when they were called pink punk- jennie was supposed to be leader.people say that jisoo and jin look alike but i never saw it.i used to think their lightstick was ugly and weird but now i really like itlovesick girls was not title track material.NCTi thought NCT was a rookie band in 2020i only knew who mark was from NCTi did not vibe with NCT U’s music but i love birthday wishi hated birthday wish at first ( i deserve a punch for that)Lucas is so coolNCTzens who remember the name of all of the members and can match them with their faces have another level of IQa lot of people say cherry bomb is THE BEST NCT-127 song. i however disagree. i don’t hate it, but i don’t think it’s the best either. Dated information follows. I went through this school in 1991, when I was commissioned after 14 years of enlisted service. I have no current knowledge of how the navy does this in 2020, but I do know the training has shifted from Pensacol, FL to Newport, RI.Current info is linked here.“Knife and Fork School” was a semi-humorous, semi-pejorative nickname for the US Navy’s Limited Duty Officer (LDO)/Chief Warrant Officer Indoctrination Course (CWO). When I went it was a 4-week course in Pensacola that most (but not all) newly commissioned LDOs and CWOs attended en route their first duty station after commissioning.Background: At that time, Navy LDOs/CWOs were directly commissioned from the enlisted ranks (E-6 or higher was the minimum grade to apply for LDO, E-7 or higher for CWO; some of this changed since my time). LDOs were commissioned as ensigns and CPOs/SCPOs (E-7/E-8) as CWO/W-2 (and the occasional MCPO/E-9 as CWO-/W-3…I’m not sure I ever met anybody in this situation).Immediately (or soon after) commissioning, you would depart on the orders that arrived as part of your commission for your next duty station. Those selected were never considered “candidates”. The deal was done, and on your commissioning date, you completed paperwork for your discharge from enlisted service and commissioning… made the appropriate uniform changes. No actual schooling required to complete the change.Then, most —but not all— newly commissioned LDO/CWO peeps went to Pensacola for the class. If you were headed to an urgently needed position (almost always afloat positions in critical billets), you might bypass P-cola…but the vast majority went to the class. There was a SINGLE block (maybe half a day) of officer customs and courtesies instruction that featured a luncheon at a formally set table.The bulk of the course was devoted to legal, admin, history and leadership issues unique to the navy and unique to the officer duties we were about to take on as we transitioned out of our enlisted duties. We also enjoyed regular physical fitness sessions (my class took both an entry PFT test —that did NOT count as an official one, and a departure PFT test that DID count).In my time, the same overall “schoolhouse” in Pensacola included navy aviation officer candidates and the direct commissioning school for newly commissioned nurses and doctors. Currently, the “LDO/CWO academy” in Newport is aligned under the navy’s non-aviation officers candidate training organization.
