Let’s see, there are so many now. I was turned down at Park Lane apartments in Petaluma, run by Burbank Housing because I didn’t have more than 1 child and wasn’t pregnant. I considered borrowing a friends baby. If I were younger I may have seriously considered having another child, being homeless sucks. Same place told me the date on my initial application was wrong and literally took my paper I had been saving and crossed out the 2013 date and wrote 2015 on it instead. Same place, Lisa, the manager offered me a 2 bedroom apt. When I applied for low income housing at Park Lane my son was under 18. When an apartment finally came available he was over 18. Since I couldn’t get the apartment because it was just me she wrote that I turned it down and then put me on the waiting list all over again for a 1 bedroom. Yay, I get to wait another 6 years. Just to top it off, the last time I went to update my phone number I had a friend watch my dog for me since the last time Lisa looked as though she may die at the sight of my 5 lb chihuahua. She saw my friend waiting with my Jeep and proceeded to say all kinds of bad things about him. Apparently she somehow knew him and didn’t like him. I have not heard a thing from Park Lane since.

The level of force, the destruction brought to bear and the proscriptions are all civilian derived and locally political in nature.Any Special Operations Force or Special Forces Unit (I’ll use SOF for ease of reference, but this includes all military branches) is a military-directed assembly. It is not dependent upon civilian oversight to exist and answers only up the military chain of command. They cannot be “called in” by any unit or sub-unit in the field. They are deployed for individual missions. Special Operations Command (SOCOM): OverviewThere are only two operational modes for SOF’s - stealth and shock. They do not operate in environments that have been contained by others and they generally do not have the direct support of “area or zone” clearance troops. In short, the area behind may be more dangerous as that in front.They perform what is called “ Irregular Warfare.” The latter word is important. It is not policing by any means. It is warfare.SWAT members are trained in some of the same weapon platforms as SOF personnel. They may receive some of the same tactical training. In fact, SWAT tactics have been borrowed and modified by SOF units since inception. But SOF is warfare. Death is the rule as applied to the opposition, not the exception. That is the exact opposite of SWAT. By this I do not mean to imply that SOF kill first and ask questions later, rather that when a SOF is utilized by command, the likelihood of opposition deaths has been acknowledged, accepted and planned for by command.A SWAT operation is opposite. Direct death and collateral deaths are to be avoided if at all possible.Again, that does not mean SWAT will not use deadly force, rather such force is to be contained and minimized.You cannot send SOF members to serve warrants and bust crack houses. Their ROE, training, weapons and tactics are incompatible with non-warfare policing. By the same token, SWAT cannot be used to suppress a militarily armed opponent on a battlefield.If I had to offer an opinion of a fight between SOF and SWAT units, SOF wins because they have tighter command and control, ROE’s and equipment. If no other units are involved and no other assets can be brought to to action by either unit (they are fighting with their standard load-out, then it goes to SOF, again. Now put the two up against each other, in an urban environment with equal equipment, and it may be a wash, but I would want to be with the SOF.These two groups are not equal in any aspect of fighting - this is like comparing a phillips screwdriver with a flathead screwdriver. They are interchangeable in only very, very limited circumstances. But is used properly, both can punch holes in you.

Example: Burbank Main Office. Smallest box is 3x5 inches. It's $70.00 per year or $35.09 for 6 months (when you open a brand new box, if you pay for the whole year you actually 13 months). Our Downtown Station, up near the big houses, close to the Burbank village are DOUBLE. Both are in Burbank. Only a few (as in 3) miles apart. And most post offices will now let you use the street address. That's relatively new, didn't used to be allowed. And your PO Boz number like it's a suite number or apt. number. Nice for businesses. And we also accept parcels from all the shipping companies too. I have a PO box. I think they're great and super convenient. And no circulars like the saturation coverages you get at a residential street address.
