Harry should apologise to Prince William for being such a snivelling disloyal little whiner. As Harry so pleasantly puts it, Prince William ‘is trapped’ - but the difference is Prince William has morals, backbone , a strong sense of duty and a wonderful wife. Harry has just got Meghan.

The Times, a British news source that is trustworthy came out with a story on Prince William titled: Up Close and Personal With Prince William: an intimate portrait of the future king. The author spoke to close friends of William, who must have approved of them speaking about him to the author. I found Prince William to be fascinating, complex and forthcoming.William does not feel “trapped” in the least about being in the royal family, nor about his destiny to be the King of the UK. In fact, William is embracing his destiny and finds himself becoming closer to the father who also will be king one day, Prince Charles. When Harry said in Meghan’s interview that William and Prince Charles are trapped “within the system”, saying, “My brother can’t leave the system, but I have”, Prince William completely disagreed with that statement, and that interview left him “reeling”.“His head is all over the place on it.” And days later when a reporter yelled at William asking about Meghan’s accusations of racism, Prince William spoke out directly and said, “We’re very much not a racist family.” That’s the way William is; he speaks his mind and knows how to handle tough situations, such as this Oprah interview.Prince William wasn’t thrilled that his reaching out to his brother, Harry, was made very public on the morning news in America. Another friend of William’s said the trapped comment was way off the mark, because William doesn’t see it that way at all. He never did. Since his destiny (God willing) has been set for him since he before he was made aware of that destiny, William has chosen to embrace his role. He is very much like his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, as he has a deep “respect for duty and service”.William has thought about how he wants to modernize the royal family, because he wants it to still be relevant in twenty years, and after the Oprah interview Prince William was a key person in the discussions that happened within the royal family afterward. The monarchy is talking about diversity and being sure they are intentional about being diverse, and William has already traveled down the road talking about racism in the UK’s football.William wants to be more than someone who shows up to cut a ribbon at an opening somewhere. He wants to help change his country and world for the better, and lead by example. William has been key in tackling mental health, homelessness and being environmentally conscious, the latter being an area his father has embraced since William was born.Before he committed to work as a working royal 100% of the time, Prince William had objectives he wanted to achieve first. This was a new approach, but William decided to work as a air ambulance pilot, even after the births of Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and while that often meant leaving home at 5:30 am, getting home after dark and saving life in intense situations, he received a lot of flak in the press.“That pissed him off,” a friend said. People expected him to be at all the royal events, but he had a family, a real job and simply couldn’t make it. They didn’t understand he was doing a job saving lives. Prince William was an RAF search and revue helicopter pilot in Wales, followed by working as an air ambulance pilot while living at his and Catherine’s home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk. William didn't want to be weighed down waiting to be king, so he decided to work first.William’s father and grandmother backed that decision, but William had to deal with courtiers who questioned if a future king should be working at a middle-class job, rubbing elbows with regular people. Senior level staff thought he would find the work boring, but they were wrong as William found the work to be fulfilling, demanding and enjoyable. William found a way to carve out his own path, even as Harry said he wasn’t able to to do that.By late in 2017, he decided to return to London, because it was time for George to begin school, and it was finally time for William (and Catherine) to become full time working members of the royal family. He returned to what William calls, “Monarchy HQ”. And over time his and Catherine’s popularity has steadily risen, with Prince William now coming in as the second most popular royal, with the Queen coming in at first place.Having children has only intensified William’s desire to “give them a life of consistency and privacy that were missing for large parts of his own childhood”, Miguel Head said. Head worked as Willam’s communications secretary for ten years, starting in 2008. William worked to achieve a good balance of keeping the paparazzi at bay by providing them with opportunities to photograph his three children, and by releasing photographs of their children, with images taken by Catherine most frequently. He wanted to ensure his family was given a good measure of privacy while he increased his royal profile. Slowly, the Cambridge children have been seen more over time, and it’s working for them.Willam and Catherine’s marriage is such a success, because “there’s no jealousy, no friction, they are happy for each others’ successes,” a friend said. Prince William is proud of Catherine’s work. They have a good marriage and clearly enjoy spending time with their children and families. Yes, they do see the Middleton family in addition to the royals, and it works for all of them. William adores Catherine’s family.William’s approach is different from Queen Elizabeth’s, with her taking a more passive stance on politics. William isn’t going to wade into politics, but he will discuss certain issues with other world leaders to effect good change going forward. When William visited the Middle-east, he spent time in both Israel and occupied Palestine territories in 2018. William prepared for that visit for months, and his success on that trip made an impression on other world leaders. Here was a man who could work with others, and bring about change for the better. William studies the issues and works for reforms when he believes it’s important.When it comes to recent events involving Harry, William has said his wife is the peacemaker and mediator, but he tried to help with the situation surrounding Harry and Meghan. If a staff member was going to quit on the Sussexes, William would try to help them out and see if a solution existed. Unfortunately, the brothers clashed over the “substance and style of their work” with Harry not being keen on the family hierarchy that William observes, but Harry’s move overseas was a complete surprise for William.A sad one too. Even though reporters claim William did not speak to Harry at the “Sandringham Summit”, Harry and William went for a long walk to “clear the air”, after the details had been agreed to and settled. What William disliked was the insulting and disrespectful way the couple dealt with the Queen. That was when William was done talking to Harry. The demeaning way his brother and wife handled the Queen’s comments was the last straw for William, and the rift widened. This hit me, when I read about William’s feelings over Harry being gone and all…“Once he got over the anger of how things happened, he was left with the absence of his brother,” an aide says. “They shared everything about their lives, an office, a foundation, meetings together most days and there was a lot of fun along the way. He’ll miss it for ever.” A close friend says William “definitely feels the pressure now it’s all on him — his future looks different because of his brother’s choices, it’s not easy.” Another friend says: “It’s still raw. He’s very upset by what’s happened, though absolutely intent that he and Harry’s relationship will heal in time.”This is who Prince William is, though most don’t see him joking behind the scenes, or showing PDA with his wife or children in private. Prince William is a good man, trying to be a good husband and father, and a good working royal who is intent on making the UK and the world a better place. I think William has been doing an admirable job. (And he’s very handsome too! I just had to add that.) The royal family is in good hands.
