PDF Editor FAQ

If someone borrowed your body for a week, what quirks would you tell them about so they are prepared?

Hello! And welcome to Richard’s Body. I certainly hope that you enjoy your time with us. If there are any questions not covered by this handy brochure, please call customer service at 1–800-GUD-LUCK. Thank you for the patronage. Here are some things to know when navigating the use of Richard’s Body:Richard’s Body struggles to sleep, it frequently stays up too late. Not out of choice but out of that’s just the way things are. Sleep can be a touchy subject.Because of this, Richard’s Body tends to feel a little off in the morning. Have no fear Valued Customer, because after 15 minutes or so Richard’s Body is up and running. Even though this body is not a morning body, so slight crabbiness is expected.Speaking of running, Richard’s Body likes to run in the morning. Usually between 3 and 5 miles. If running isn’t your thing, perhaps try one of our other exciting products like Richard’s Unmoving Neighbor, that brings the new experiences of laziness and irritability. When you shower following your run, you will notice Richard’s Body is in good shape. So yeah, you have that going for you.Richard’s Body has one tattoo, it is meaningful to him. Please do not expand on said tattoo when you’re utilizing our service. Such actions will result in a withholding of deposit and possible surcharges. After getting out of the shower, you will notice a steel stand. On that stand will a DE safety razor, a brush, a stainless steel bowl, and Proraso shaving cream. That’s because the face portion of Richard’s Body likes a good classic wet-shave in the morning. You will also see several small towels in the drawer to the left, where you can wet and heat them. We have left a new blade in the DE razor for your convenience. However, if you don’t know how to wet-shave, DON’T. You will cut up Richard’s Body’s face, which we result in withholding of deposit. There is an emergency electric shaver in the right drawer, use that. There are numerous clothing items from which to chose. If you look at the convenient schedule in your Welcome Packet, you will see what Richard’s Body has on its schedule. Dress accordingly. Richard’s Body is equally comfortable in suits as he is in linen shirts and jeans, use your judgment. If you’re unsure, an automated style guide is available when contacting customer service. You will notice two racks of shoes in the closet. Richard’s Body will hate all of them, it generally prefers to go barefoot. So just choose whichever matches the clothes for the day. Note: that if campus schedule dictates you can go barefoot for the day using Richard’s Body. Depending on your personal level of comfort. In the garage, you will notice two vehicles. One car and one motorcycle. Because we’re unsure of how the whole consciousness swap/muscle memory thing works, we are limiting the use of the motorcycle (unless you have filled out form 11E-1z, proving a high degree of knowledge in the operation of powerful superbikes). We are sorry for the limitation, but you will find the car reasonably thrilling.During the workday, Richard’s Body will tend to get tired eyes, it’s all the monitor time when working on specific projects. You will find Refresh eye-drops in Richard’s Backpack. Use them at will. Richard’s Body’s last eye exam says that he has perfect vision, although Richard is sometimes skeptical. Or there needs to be better monitors provided. We look forward to hearing your feedback on this issue!Richard’s Body is sometimes prone to tension headaches. A quick walk around campus is usually enough to fix this.Richard’s Body is used to martial arts practice multiple times per week. Class times and training blocks are outlined in the provided schedule.DO NOT SPAR when using Richard’s Body. You don’t know how to fight, the people you train with do, again the whole consciousness/muscle memory question. Richard knows but is not currently in the Body. As such, doing so will result in possible damage to Richard’s Body.Unfortunately, Richard’s Body has suffered a prior knee injury. It starts to ache after specific activities. High-knee-stress activities like burpees are not recommended.Richard’s Body likes walks on the beach, you have several nearby. Please refer to the custom Points of Interest in the car’s GPS.Richard’s Body also eats healthy, there is an information card regarding possible meals (with recipes) in your Welcome Packet. On a personal note: if this week should occur when Richard’s Body’s Girlfriend is visiting, she has been apprised of the situation. She knows what to do to please herself and Richard’s Body, advanced sexual knowledge isn’t required (although appreciated. We, however, understand lack of knowledge, the consciousness/muscle memory situation again). We here at Out-Of-Body Experiences advises you to just enjoy the ride.Alright Valued Customer, we think you’re prepared to enjoy your week in Richard’s Body. We hope that your experience is a pleasant one. Following your visit, we hope that you’ll take the time to fill out a quick survey about your stay with Us.Thank you again,Out-Of-Body Experiences

Is pilots license easy to get? How many hours air time required? How much do I expect to pay for the lessons?

Is a pilot’s license easy to get?Long and short, no. It’s not. Being a pilot is about a lot more than pushing the power in, lifting the nose, and flying around. Sure, it’s definitely all that too, but being a pilot, even in small single-engine planes like the ones you’ll train in, is not easy. But that’s not to discourage you, or anyone, at all! It may not be the easiest thing in the world, and rightfully so, but it’s absolutely worth it. I have literal fractions of the number of flight hours as some of my colleagues here on Quora, at just over 200, but every single time I get off the ground, it’s a feeling so good that nothing else I’ve ever known even comes close. Now - to be upfront with you about what is really hard about flying - paying for flying. It’s no secret that flying is not a cheap thing to do. At the very least, you’ll have to find a plane to rent by the hour and find a CFI, or Certificated Flight Instructor, to fly with you to teach you the skills. Without knowing where you live, it’s somewhat hard to put a price on the different pieces. In some areas, a Cessna 172, a common 4-seat trainer, can be rented for slightly under $100. In others, that same airplane will rent for over $150 and perhaps closer to $200. When I was training for my Private, I paid $160/hr for a 2002 Cessna 172SP. It was outfitted with a nice GPS/moving map and a lot of other stuff that I really didn’t need, but it was cool to have, and the school I rented from had the best reputation as far as maintenance is concerned in the area.On the same string, you’ll have to factor in the cost of instruction. Flight Instructors, or as I will will refer to them from here on, CFIs, generally charge by the hour for their services. In order to obtain a pilot’s license, you will have to fly a certain number of hours with a CFI. Again, more on that to follow. But just as is the case with aircraft rental, CFI rates vary tremendously. Some CFIs will charge $20/30 an hour, while some may charge upwards of $60. If you do your training through an established flight school, you’ll likely see the school’s instruction rate on a welcome packet. Either way, inquire about cost upfront. And now some words of advice. NEVER, never pay for your full training upfront, no matter how much cheaper they say it’ll be. Many flight schools have been known to mysteriously go bankrupt or cease operations suddenly, and leaving bulk sums of money in accounts with them leaves little recourse for you as a customer if they suddenly disappear. Flight schools or clubs will often offer something known as a “block rate”, which is generally 10 hours of flight time paid at once. The block rates are almost always cheaper, and are a great deal. Just be wary of full packages or out-the-door pricing upfront. Now - the fun part. The FAA. Presumably, they are the agency who will be granting your pilots’ license as well as setting forth all of the regulations you must abide by in order to fly. If you’re somewhere outside of the United States, disregard this and consult your country’s aviation regulatory body. The following is a summation of the required times one must log in order to take the Private Pilot Practical Test, also known as the Checkride. This is the final assessment of your skills and knowledge as a pilot, and your CFI will gauge your progress throughout training and prepare you for it.40 Total Flight Hours -Dual: 20 hours minimum of flight training with an instructor on the Private Pilot areas of operation including:3 hours of cross country flight training in a single engine airplane;3 hours of night flight training in a single engine airplane, that includes at least:a) 1 cross country flight of over 100 nm total distance; andb) 10 takeoffs and 10 landings to a full stop with each involving a flight in the traffic pattern at an airport.3 hours of flight training by reference to instruments in a single engine airplane; and3 hours of flight training in a single engine airplane within the 60 days prior to the practical test.Solo: 10 hours minimum of solo flying in a single engine airplane on the Private Pilot areas of operation including:5 hours of solo cross country flying;1 solo cross country flight of at least 150nm total distance with full stop landings at 3 points and one segment of at least 50nm between takeoff and landings; and3 takeoffs and landings to a full stop at an airport with an operating control tower.(credit to Private Pilot Requirements at FirstFlight for English-izing the FAA regulations here)Basically - at the simplest, you need 40 hours in your logbook to be able to take the Private Pilot checkride. They need to consist of the multitude of categories listed. Your CFI, should you choose to continue with training, will go over this ruleset with you and formulate a plan of action for beginning your training. It’s a part of the certification process for CFIs to write lesson-by-lesson syllabi for new students. I bolded the word need there for a good reason, though. 40 hours is the absolute minimum number of hours required. The national average for successful completion of the Private checkride is somewhere between and 60–80 hours, with some having very close to 40 while some take upwards of 90. I didn’t take my checkride until I had 92 hours in the logbook. The amount of time you can dedicate to flying and the frequency of your flights will both work to lessen the number of hours that it’ll take you, personally.Without knowing your specifics, I can’t tell you with certainty what you should expect to pay. Look up flight schools or flying clubs nearby and present yourself to an instructor there as interested in taking lessons. If one rubs you the wrong way or seems to want way more money than a few other options (if you’re lucky enough to have multiple close by), it’s probably a bad sign. There is one thing that is paramount to the entire aviation world - safety. If something seems offputting, ask questions. Ask about maintenance (a big factor in trainer-class airplanes). All important for you, as a paying customer, to be informed about.Every school, club, and instructor is slightly different. But in the end, they’re all in the same business - teaching you to fly.

Is life hard in Chennai?

I'll compare Chennai with 2 other metro cities - New Delhi and Mumbai.Hard things living in Mumbai:-Mumbai's overcrowded electric train which can kill a person by strangling, who wears a necktie.Order by which people get in/out of train is utter chaos. Wish that no big stampede happens here in Mumbai railway stations.Too much pan stains.House for rent is too expensive.Cinema ticket rates are too high.Hard things living in New Delhi:-Too much pollution equating to having packets of cigarettes everyday.Definitely not that safe compared to rest of the cities in India.Good things about Chennai:-One end to other end of the city at 10rs in local train and 50–100rs by public bus. Plenty of share autos and metro rail options available.Living apartment rates are reasonable.Cinema tickets are reasonable : 120rs to 250rs.People using public transport are disciplined and don't keep pulling or pushing one another unnecessarily.Comparatively less pan stains.Hard things in Chennai:-The safety is good when compared to other cities and it doesn't mean it's 100% safe. Women don't feel safe always in all places due to some men. While walking in road, I don't take out my mobile phone as I'm afraid that my mobile may get snatched.Traffic is terrible in Perungulathur, Vadapalani-cmbt stretch, Shollinganallur signal , Madhya Kailash.Getting water is still a problem in some areas in Chennai.Chennai heat is terrible as the moisture of the bay of Bengal rubs salt to the wound. If you are from a region with less heat, you need time to adjust the heat here.Welcome to Chennai. I have been here for the past 15+ years.I can guarantee you life would be good here if you could adjust with weather and couple of other things.
