Highway running through the building.Gate tower building is a 16 floor office building situated in Osaka japan.The Umeda exit of Hanshinway expressway passes through the fifth storey of this building.This building was build in 1992.3. Worlds largest fish market.Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo was the largest fish market in the world. 660000 ton of fish were marketed in a year. This market was opened in 1935 February 11. This market is replaced by Toyosu fish market in October 6 2018.4. Worlds second largest automobile exporter.Japan exports automobile worth $93 billion. It is just behind china . This is not a surprise the three out ten car which we see in india is japan made.The notable ones are Honda , Toyota, Mistubishi ,Nissan ,Mazda and Suzuki.5. Tokyo may be the most honest city.In 2016 Tokyo people hand overed a record sum of 3.67 billion ( $32 million)as lost cash .About three quarter of this money is returned to the rightful owners.9. There are almost no homeless in Tokyo.Being the most populous city in the world the homeless people in Tokyo is very less. As of 2014 the number of homeless people reduced to record low of about 1697 among 10000.10. Shinkansen / Bullet trains.Bullet train were invented in the year 1964.These bullet trains connect the three biggest cities of japan Osaka tokyo Nagoya .They have carried over 5 5.56 billion passangers all together. The scmaglev train reached a record speed of 603 kmph in 2015.The Japanese trains are very punctual just like indians….once a Japanese train apologised for being 20 seconds late. It has 364445 employees world wide.Toyota was the world's first automotive manufacturer producing 10 million vehicles per year.14 Hard work always marries success.Japan is a Stratovolcanic archipelago. With more than 1500 earthquakes. Japan has 108 active volcanoes. It has the 15 th highest natural disaster risk. Only 20 % of the land is agriculturable in Japan. This all didn't stop japan from being the third largest economy in the world. Sweat shops?Where are these sweat shops?Can you please give me a list or point to them on a map?Have you even been to a Chinese factory before?I want to be very, very honest with you today:Chinese factory workers have more financial mobility than most equivalently skilled work in the US right now. You typically earn a base pay plus a bonus (up to double your salary) based on output. If you work faster, you earn more. The longer you stay, the more your base moves up (to a ceiling).Chinese factory workers are relatively uneducated. Most have completed middle school or less. Earning ~5000-6000 RMB for factory work + free housing at the factory with no schooling is a freaking awesome deal for them. They save money and send it back to their hometowns for their parents and children.Factory workers are generally happy. They talk, gossip, laugh, listen to music, wear whatever they want to work. Honestly? My happiest days are in the factory.Factories are not sweat shops, nor are they equivalent to modern-day slavery. They offer viable, optional employment with A Reasonable salary for the uneducated work force.Yes, workers do work about 12 hours/day, 6 days a week. This is no different than the US during our manufacturing boom, and it's not much different from office workers in China. Nor is it all that different from Wall Street or consulting hours at McKenzie, or from a small business owner’s own hours slaving away in their bakery/flower shop/coffee shop, or almost any flavor of salaried worker.. but I don't see anyone coming to those worker’s rescue.I’d even wager that our minimum wage employees in the US are much worse off in quality of life than Chinese factory workers.Chinese labor rates would be slave wages in the US, but they're not in China. That's called the "Purchasing Parity Power” (PPP); $1000 USD in the US is shit to live on; in China, that pays for my nice city apartment (in a hotel), train card, and meals - eating out for every meal - for a month. Plus, I'd have 15–20% left over to save.Globalization is not on the horizon; it's a done deal.Its best to learn about PPP, and settle in for the long haul. As long as there's PPP disparity, there's money to be made in outsourcing. It doesn't mean life is shit in the other country, it just means we haven't reached equilibrium yet.The price of goods from China will continue rising slowly as the costs of raw materials increases (like it did this year—sharply—after the Chinese New Year). However, no major adjustments are necessary now to make working Conditions “less harsh”; we’re already there, homie.My favorite thing about the Chinese is that they mind their own business. Maybe we all should take a lesson?
