Report On Financial Statements: Fill & Download for Free

As a Senior Systems Accountant it was my job to assure that all of the systems feeding into the core financial accounting system were working properly. It was also, our job to make sure that the Financial Statements were completed accurately and supporting all internal controls. They did not like it so much when I moved over there. I had a different hat and I knew all the violations I could do?I much rather preferred working as a Senior Accountant preparing the Financial Statements and responding to the Auditors. I liked being tasked and working on multiple projects within a multi-billion dollar organization to decrease differences between the groups. I was never afraid to find flaws in others systems as well. I remember when we were made to outsource our Payroll to a Center of Excellence within the Federal Government. See that is how they want it. Each agency was going to have a speciality and others would send work to them. So, there were several to choose from and we chose Department of Interior. So, I was in charge of making sure the interface would be established and the transactions would record correctly.There was a huge debate with A-123 (Sarbanes/Oxley) for private sector of who is responsible for Accounts Receivables when it comes to payroll. I quickly said it has to be H/R. They said no you guys are the ones who send out the invoices so it is Accounting they said. But this is where I had to learn exactly what they did and why an employee would owe a debt in the first place. How it could be possible to owe it for so long too…. Usually in private sector if I overpay you this week you can be assured you are going to pay it all back next week. But in government there are actual laws that won’t allow that for time and attendance. I had to go research H/R regulations so I could use it to my advantage in my argument in making sure they knew why they were the responsible ones and not us which should have not been an Financial Statements Prepares Job but, I don’t like to lose and I always use logic. Plus you never go into a meeting unarmed. So first I had to figure out how and what would cause these debts in the first place. H/R was not friendly. So, it usually had to do with individuals taking time off and using Leave Without Pay Status. In the Government other employees are allowed to donate leave to you while you are out. Well this is all done manually within a Time and Attendance system. So you will get an Email saying under Uniform Act such and such… Tom Smith has been accepted into the voluntary leave donor program so if there are any individuals within the organization who would like to donate leave to him please let me know.But before they put this in a time card was approved and he is on leave so he gets paid. The Administrative Officer did not place the leave status update before payroll was processed. So now an Accounts Receivable is generated. Well, ok but then John Walker feels bad and donates 8 hours of his leave towards last week. So they have to subtract leave from Johns and Add the leave to Tom’s. So in all actuality we need to adjust the receivable by this amount.But, you see NASA used DOI too. I found out later because I found this right away. I looked real close at these Receivables and saw the Receivables Came in with a 50I. So if an adjustment is made where is my Negative 50I. It took me hours of staring because the manual had the code… But my system did not. I would see these 61C’s which were payments but they were not on my bank statement or payroll disbursement? Then it sank in they changed my negative 50I’s to 61C’s and manually adjusted my payroll summary report. It was a good thing I reconciled both the Bank Statements and Payroll and A/R.Because now I had another issue. You have me totally reporting this wrong on a Treasury Report on Receivables. We wrote requirements for all those transaction codes and whether they went to New Receivables, Payments, Adjustments.So then Department of Interior brings all of their customers together to talk about how the new payroll process reporting is working. What concerns we might have and new and upcoming changes they were going to be bringing. There were so big players there Department of Transportation, NASA, Department of Commerce, us. So I said can you tell me why you are sending over adjustments to receivable transactions as collections? Because I hope for those in here you did not program your A/R reporting based off the DOI pay codes because if you did your TROR reports are mis-stated. For us it was not material but, our payroll was only 14 million a month. So for an agency like DOT it was over 50 rolled up.Apparently, NASA said they were unable to process a negative 50I so DOI made the change for them. So, I said you did this without vetting it thru. Then I walked them thru the G/L accounts and it was hitting the wrong Budgetary Accounts too.I was proud because Transportation gave their card after that and I went on an interview. I thought they had a position in mind for me but, their Branch Chief that was there had me meet with their Deputy CFO and they asked what things I liked to do. Then they brought their Department Heads in and they were pitching me why I would want to work for their departments. That was the first time I had ever been approached like that. I did not leave and work for them but I would never pass up and opportunity.I only use this example because that is the type of Accountant I am. I will know how it is supposed to work, how it does work, and does it actually work?But as for Accounting owning all Receivables. They might be the ones whom bill them but it is one behalf of the program they belong to. For this it was H/R. If an employee leaves and then we send out a manual bill saying they owe still 100.00 for Leave, I could only say that. It would only be H/R who would have the paperwork associated with the change. When writing the A-123 business process I made sure H/R had their piece for writing A/R on Payroll and that it was documented they were the owners. I wrote the billing section and the two went together but, oh no was I signing off on that mess. I was just thankful it was so small.

It is as much justified as comparing the UPA rule, which had to take care of 1.2 Billion people with the BJP rule of Gujarat, which has 62.7 Million people. The comparison was done indeed and huge amount of PR was done on this comparison. And oh, Modi himself said this in 2013! However credit should be given to Modi for stopping the corruption at PMO. However, the credit for better train booking (IRCTC 2.0), better Passport system needs to be given to MMS for he gave the work to TCS and other reforms.To be frank, the fruits of AAP government have started showing up in the everyday lives of Delhiites, however we still have to wait to see if the Modi government can make our daily lives better. Ah, I don't trust the inflation figures as many commodities whose prices were rising were removed from the formula, eg. Tomato.When the International fuel prices were going down, they didn't go down in India with the same speed, and the government increased the taxes. Now when the international prices would go up again, Indians would have to pay through their teeth.When it comes to foreign relations, although there can be no comparison, AAP government has had few meetings with the German, Israeli, Japanese, Singaporean representatives to make Delhi a world class city.When it comes to fulfilling specific promises from the manifesto, Delhi is way ahead. They have created a Commission - Delhi Dialogue Commission (Delhi Dialogue Commission), just to ensure the fulfillment of the promises given during the Delhi Dialogue. In comparison to that, BJP has been either hesitant or ineffective or turned out that they just threw a jumla (rhetorical promise) during the campaign. Before the Lok Sabha elections, BJP made many promises, but it slowly seems it's taking many U-turns.Bottom line is, there is still a lack of intent. There is no CVC, the CBI is still not independent, the RTI is being muzzled up, Lokpal still isn't appointed, and so on. The BJP government is still insincere and is promoting sycophancy. Rather, I expect more mockery and defamation of the AAP leaders. And after the circular by AAP government, media would be even more hostile. Regrettably the General turned out to be unusually adept at basic arithmetic, and they’d overlooked the existence of too many bank statements lying around associated with small accounts of which, apparently, no Police Federation official or auditor knew anything at all, despite containing 7–8 figure sums of money.Hence also (in part) the theoretical dissolution of ACPO (“association of chief police officers” - a private company and - IIRC - owner the other private company, ACRO, through which all sales of police personal data were routed), that incidentally had boasted in writing about its successful government policy-making via what it described as its “ministerial teams” of police officers “seconded” to key positions in departments of state.Anyway, all that’s one aspect of police processing of personal data.
