PDF Editor FAQ

Will running everyday in the morning make me physically fit and strong?

No,if you run aimlessly!Yes, if you make a plan and follow it strictly. If you run without a plan, everyday morning you'll end up injuring yourself, have sore knees, or end up stuck in a rut.Instead make a running plan (you can use apps like Nike Run Coach or create your own plan based on activities that add different traits to your running) and follow them.I have been following a 9 week plan made by Nike Run app.I started with a pace of 6:35 per kilometer, for 3 kilometers. And last week was the 8th week, I finished 7 Kilometres at a pace of 5:49 per kilometre( 41 minutes) and I can run a kilometre in about 4 minutes and 30 seconds, which is way less than the previous 6 minutes.

Is it possible to turn your life round at 50? I've made a lot of mistakes, have no partner, no money, and no house. I'm 49 soon and am dreading turning 50.

It is possible to turn your life around in a single moment. And at the fear of sounding like a self help book.. but anything we wholeheartedly decide to do, when done with purpose, conviction and persistence all of life is at our disposal. Thats the great mystery of life, as far as Im concerned. That we go through life living by the terms, ideas, beliefs and failures of others. And it is those same things that hold us back from true expansion. Because THAT is our truer purpose, to expand like the universe, in all directions. You believe you're defeated because of age, because as we grow we see people's minds and bodies deteriorate and assume that is our destiny. We live by the standards and concepts of those that came before us, carrying the momentum of both their wisdom and their folly. And it through the evolution of our subjective ambition and discrimination that dictates the direction we go and onto the next generation. The thing that we need to realize is that we create our reality, by the things we think, believe and act upon. I'm sure you have heard this before, as it has become quite prolific in its use by all manner of people help others make a shift in their lives but, just the same, is a fundamental truth. Not giving this an opportunity to become true by its contemplation and accepting this as how our lives unfold, is to perpetuate the current life we're living. Why? Because the thoughts, beliefs, and acts that you have been thinking your whole life have brought you to the point you are in, right now.If your mind tells you that “It was others that made my life the way it is!” that too is a self perpetuating hindrance, to growth. If its them who holds you back, then it should be true that only they can push you forward, which we know is never true. There is a well established belief that life doesn't truly become yours until the forties. Before that we live for others, maintaining status quo ideas of perpetuating our “place” in a particular cultural structure, as it too is part of an evolution of collective character And so when we see that the direction others predicated for us, isn't FOR US we expand past their direction. We have lived life made some good choices and plenty of bad ones. But dare I say, only a fool allows the lessons of bad choices to be his, again and again. Stuck in the rut of obstinance, holding onto what may have worked in the past is surly a path to failure. This can be all put aside when we realize that we create our bodies by the foods we eat, cultivate our minds with the thoughts we think and ultimately our existence by shifting how we see the world. That after getting rid of antiquated thought patterns and stagnant beliefs, there opens in us a new perspective of expansion. The same limitlessness we felt as children, before the reality of life clouded our perception of it. To see that all we need do to get back to that energetic state is to uncloud the mind. Meditate and follow your bliss. Ask yourself…. If you didn't have to worry about money, what would you do? Find a way to do THAT even if only part time.We spend our lives doing things we don't like, so we can eventually be happy (this is the deception of mans greed)…. so instead just DO the things that make you happy, and all things you need will get done.L&L

What’s the most breathtaking animal photo you’ve seen?

I love the animal kingdom and hopefully this answer will show you just how amazing the natural world really is!PS-Only read the information under the photos if you want more background on them. Reading all of them would be a bit tiring.1.Nature’s own sunscreenAren’t elephants supposed to be grey? Elephants in Africa were found to be covering themselves in clay to provide protection from the fierce Namibian sun. As a result it gives them a white, almost albino appearance.Photographed by Anja Denker2. A brave new worldNubian ibex are thrown into the fight for survival as soon as they are born. Every once and a while these animals must leave the safety of the mountain heights to get water. As a result these youngsters must be adept climbers to escape the jaws of the hungry foxes that lurk in the shadows below.Image from BBC’s Planet Earth II3.The Golden boyThe Golden or strawberry tiger is a big cat with an interesting color variation that is caused by a recessive gene. Like the white tiger this animal isn’t a separate species of tiger but whatever the case it makes for a very beautiful animal. The only source I could find for this exact image was reddit :(4.Aerial duelHigh up in the mountains eagles are the top predators but even they have competition. This epic scene depicts an intense aerial battle between two golden eagles over the carcass of a dead fox.Image from BBC’s Planet Earth II5.The greatest migration on earth(AKA: Mufasa’s killers)Every year 1.5 million wildebeest, 200 000 zebra and a host of other antelope travel across the countries of Africa in what is known as the great Serengeti migration. This is one spectacle that people travel from all over the world to witness.Photograph by Daniel Rosengren6.A near missAs a follow up to the migration is this wildebeest’s epic escape from death. Many predators patiently wait for the arrival of the migrating herbivores and for many crocodiles, this is their only large meal of the year. Unfortunately for this croc, his meal escaped. Maybe he could give it another go next year.Just another stock photo :)7.BrothersBirds aren’t the only animals that build nests. Black bears have been known to build these shelters in trees where they will hide their young from hungry predators. Of course not all these nests are in the trees, some are built on the ground.Couldn’t find the photographer for this one either…..only place I could find it was on a wallpaper downloading website.8.Green with jealousyDuring the rutting season, the bison of North America will fight to earn the rites to mate. If one bull get’s jealous than you can be sure a bout for dominance will erupt among the herd.Just another stock photo9.All you can eat buffetMackerel like many fish travel in large shoals and naturally this will attract predators such as these dolphins who probably feel like they’ve struck a jack pot in the desolate ocean.Couldn’t find the photographer of this image :(10.Chilling with the squadJust some sea lion enjoying a man made lounge. Some of them will fish while others bask in the sun’s warmth.Photo by Carrie Wilson (Couldn’t find her website as their are too many Carrie Wilsons)11.The second generation hybridSome of you have probably seen me write about Liligers. What is truly breathtaking about these guys is that they are essentially hybrids of a hybrid as they are a mix between a lion and a Ligress.Photo is courtesy of LIGER ZOOS12. Come to papa!Alaskan grizzlies are some of the biggest brown bears around. This is due to their diet which consists largely of salmon. I find it truly breathtaking to watch bears as they catch their food and I often wonder if they actually have magnets in their mouths that attract these slippery fish!Another stock photo I couldn’t find the taker of!!!13.Everyone loves the Capybara! The largest rodent on earth isn’t only cute but lovable. For some strange reason animals of all kinds seem to be attracted to the presence of these guys. Even caimans have been seen resting peacefully next to capybaras. Then again sometimes the rodents end up in the caiman’s jaws…Couldn’t find the taker of this one either…14.Bengali RoyaltyThe royal bengal tiger is not only a deadly predator but a beautiful beast to behold. I feel this image of the apex of India’s forests captures the danger, majesty and grace of this animal perfectly.Couldn’t find the taker either… but at least I was able to find a better quality photo!15.Desert survivorI realized that I haven’t shown nearly enough love to the “king” of beasts, the lion. This shot of a lioness gracefully striding through the desert gives off all the qualities that the tiger in the proceeding image does but with an extra touch of grace.Photo from BBC’s Planet Earth II16.Hyenas in the cityThe hyena men of Harar, Ethiopia are truly amazing. Every night the hyenas will enter the city and the men will feed them the scrap meat from the butcher. I just find it amazing that these men can get so close to these normally dangerous predators without suffering. I would never put myself in this situation, especially after watching two clans of these animals fight over the cities possession on Planet earth 2!Photo from BBC’s Planet Earth II17. The largest hunter on earthThe largest animal on earth, the blue whale devours some of the smallest prey animals alive, krill. It is a truly amazing thing to witness, and only a few photographers have been lucky enough to witness and capture this scene.Photograph by Oregon State University Drone.18.RampageThis is Snowflake, the only albino gorilla alive on this planet. Snowflake was euthanized in 2003 as he was diagnosed with cancer.Photo from the Photographic archive of the Barcelona Zoo19.Killer of crocThe jaguar is the apex predator of the Brazilian rain forests and has one of the most powerful bites on the planet. This cat uses its powerful weapon to dismantle its prey with a bite to the back of the skull, namely the caiman.Photograph by Justin Black/Barcroft Media/Landov20.Desperate times call for desperate measuresDue to change in earth’s climate, the sea ice that the polar bear needs to be able to effectively hunt is slowly disappearing. As a result these bears are forced to use their creativity to find food or face starvation. This polar bear has found that climbing along the cliffs and eating bird’s eggs is the best strategy when it comes to filling its belly!Photograph by Jenny E. Ross21.Center of lifeWith so many vibrant colors, plants and animals its easy to see why the great barrier reef is one of the most spectacular natural wonders of this world. One day I want to visit this remarkable location and see all it has to offer myself. No source for this one :(22.Dumb ways to dieI would say this polar bear has figured out a new way to find a meal!Photograph by Roie Galitz23.ScavengersIts hard being a predators as there are always other animals trying to steal your food. This bear is having a tough time keeping the ravens off its dinner!Photograph by Charlie Hamilton Jones24.The chaseOnly a few of us are lucky enough to witness two of the fastest animal alive go head to head in a race for survival. Both these animals have extreme maneuverability and I think its safe to say that the cheetah and gazelle are the world’s master sprinters.Photo by Wim van den Heever25.DragonsKomodo dragons are the world’s largest monitor lizards and are truly frightening animals that are equipped with venomous saliva that slowly kills prey. Often these lizards will fight for dominance and that is exactly what has happened in the scene above.Photograph by Andrey Gudkov26.HardshipThe winter is rough but hopefully this tough red fox will make it through.Unable to find the photographer :(27.SolaceRain is very important to the jungle’s health and this young orangutan has found a creative way to seek shelter from the cold.Unable to find the image’s source…28.HippocampusHorses are some of the most interesting animals in my opinion. While many of these animals are domesticated some wild herds still roam the country. This group is in the process of crossing a river in style!Photograph by Art Wolfe'29.The kidsDespite being one of the most successful African predators only one or two of these cheetah cubs will reach adulthood. The reason? Larger predators who will bully cheetahs off their kills.Photograph by Art Wolfe30.The real red pandaThis is Qizai the one of the only brown giant panda in the world. This panda subspecies is exceedingly rare and most of them are found in captivity.Photograph by He Xin (Can’t find his website)31.The battle for Nanuk’s hillThis scene depicts an epic battle between a wolf pack and grizzly bear that took place in Banff national park. In this stage of the conflict, the alpha wolf, Nanuk and the grizzly bear stood nose to nose in a standoff!Photograph by Peter A. Dettling32.Jaws!Great white sharks are terrifying ocean predators that rule much of the sea. Whether they deserve their deadly reputation is up for debate but never the less they are truly frightening. Wouldn’t want to get snapped up by those jaws.Unknown source33.Death divePenguins hunt for fish in the open oceans of Antarctica and have their fair share of enemies to watch out for. One of their most deadly predators is the Orca. Killer whales will often wait for these birds to dive off the ice and then attack!Unknown source34.Get off my lawn!Hippos are certified ass holes. These large animals are very aggressive and will attack almost anyone that comes near their waterholes, even other hippos! Sadly for this Nile crocodile, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.Image captured by amateur photographer Ken Haley35.Snow monkeysThe Japanese macaques or snow monkeys are one of the few monkeys to live in very cold environments. To stay warm these animals will often inhabit the natural hot springs of the area as can be seen in the above image.Just a stock photo36.Hide and seekMany animals use camouflage to hide from predatory foes and this insect is no exception, taking the form of a dried leaf to hide in plain sight!A stock photo37.David vs GoliathPraying mantis are speedy predators, able to strike with lighting quick speed. Looks like this ant has picked the wrong time to go searching for food!Photo by Deni Alispurata/Caters News38.Pack huntersWolves are efficient pack hunters and know how to take down plenty of prey animals from small rodents to massive herbivores like bison. In this scene the wolves are struggling to separate a bison from the herd so that they can get a meal to help them through the winter.Photo from BBC’s Frozen planet39.Eight legged beautySpiders are known for stringing webs all over the place. While this can be quite a nuisance, these animals use their string to trap passing prey. A spider’s web is one of the strongest natural fibers and this arachnid has put together a beautiful design.Unknown source40.CompetitionOften hyenas will leave their clans for short periods of time to go hunt for food on their own. While they are very capable of taking down prey this lack of numbers leaves them vulnerable to other predators. In this battle it seems some African wild dogs haven’t taken to kindly to the competition and have seen their chance to drive off the larger hunter.Stock photo41.EntsInsects aren’t the only animals that use camouflage to their advantage! This owl is able to hide perfectly in the tree it calls home.Stunning photo captured by British photographer Graham McGeorge42.Desert travellerThe fennec fox is one of the most endangered canine species. Luckily, their numbers have been beginning to recover. As you can see by the photo above, these animals are adapted to dessert climates.Stock photo43.The great one horned beastThe Indian rhino is the largest species of Asian rhinoceros. These endangered animals are beginning to recover from excessive poaching and inhabit the great grasslands and forests of Asia.Photo from BBC’s Planet Earth II44.High risk…high rewardThis image really shows the “king” of beasts in action. Male lions actually hunt quite a bit, especially in their younger years and these two are no exception. The massive giraffe may dwarf the much smaller lions and it may be able able to kill either of them with a kick but the reward for these two bold hunters would be great.Images of this struggle were captured by photographer Michael Cohen45.Lightning strikeSnakes are renowned predators known for their lightning strikes and venom. This bush viper is coiled back, ready to attack!Another stock photo46.MotherThe alligators of Florida and the rest of the southern United states are generally known as deadly predators but even they can be caring parents. This alligator mother is giving its young hatchling a ride through the perilous swamp.Photo by Clayton Bownds47.DiverThe peregrine falcon is a speedy hunter able to dive at speeds of up to 200 mph. This allows them to catch prey, namely pigeons which they hunt in the cities they have become accustomed to.48.Leopards in the cityYou never know what could be lurking in the night and leopards are no exception. These felines have been known to prowl the cities of India where they hunt for prey such as livestock. I will always remember recordings from night vision cameras that caught these cats slinking around in the trees just above a group of tourists. Scary!Photo from BBC’s Planet Earth II49.King of fishThe lion fish is an interesting predator. This vibrantly colored fish has an interesting hunting technique. It uses its skin to blend into the environment and will catch its prey with precise lunges as it isn’t very fast in the long run.Couldn’t find source50.Nedry’s killerThe frilled lizard is like the real world dilophosaurus from Jurassic park with its intimidating neck frill. All it needs now is venom spit! In reality this Australian reptile uses its grotesque neck ornament for sexual display, and intimidation towards others.Another stock photo51.Clash of the titansWe started this with elephants and will end it with them! Pretty much every animal lover knows just how dangerous bull elephants get when they are ready to mate. These animals enter a period of musth in which they become extremely aggressive and have been known to kill buffalo, rhinos and even other elephants out of rage. Never the less it is a true spectacle to witness a fight between two bulls! This fight was captured by by Belgian photographer Charles Vanpraet.I hope you enjoyed this small glimpse of some of the most spectacular things the animal kingdom has to offer and hopefully you will now have a new appreciation for the beauty of the natural world!
