Is the Kenyan government well equipped to deal with cattle hustlers? Do you think cattle rustling will come to a finish?

While Kenya has better law enforcement than most countries in Africa but thats not very good. Cattle thieves are hard to catch and difficult to prosecute. We gad one it took 2 years to catch and it was private citizen flying his own airplane at night that caught him.Kenya is lot tough place to navigate than Tillman County Oklahoma.

Do hunters fear being accidentally shot by other hunters?

I used to hunt places it was almost a sure thing to get peppered with falling shot sometime during the day. I used hunt a place called Four Corners in Tillman County Oklahoma west of Frederick near the North Fork of The Red River when farmers were still planing milo. They may still be planting food plots for doves aw it was fabulous dove hunting until the first cold front. people set down in the fence rows about 20 or 30 yards apart shooting number 6 and 7 1/2 shot. Someone would always shoot a high flier as it crossed the fence line; raining shot on one or two hunter 2 or 3 places down the line. Always wear a hat and shooting glasses at Four Corners.I had a game warden walk down that firing line to check my license for the 3d time that day. He was pain and ended up getting transfered to McCurtain County so he could chase drug farmers and dealers. Not the best Law Enforcement job in Oklahoma.

Have you been in a tornado? What was it like?

Reading recent literature shows my thoughts on a car being the worst place on Eart ot ride out a tornado are based on the death traps of my youth and not modernvehicles with sholder & lap belts and multiple air bags.I lived and farmed in Tillman County Oklahoma inn southwest Oklahoma from 1947–1989. My home place has been hit by seven tornados do I know of. I've lost count of the number I've seen. The only on I ever got caught in was as a storm watcher standing in the doorway at the entrance to the south building facing west of Brumbly apartments in Marrid Student Housing at Oklahoma State University on 15 March 1990. I had been out in an open feild with a good view to the west in the Soccor Feilds West of the Colvin Center I saw and reported some lasy poorly organize rotation about a mile straight west of me. The 1990 Stillwater Tornado Reviewed Stillwater seems to mss a lot of tornados. One person was killed in the storm for some reason she get it necessary to get in a car an go some where.I relocated to my concrete block apartment house built in the early 1950's and set up in the steel door frame so I could escape back inti the steel stairwell in the unlikely event a tornado touched down near me I knew the rotation would come within 100 yards of me. I wasn't particularly concerened as the temperature differential wasn't great enough in air coming form the west to mahe much of a storm in my opinion, the skies weren't dark and the winds looked to be less than a 100 mph in the gusts I could see a mile away.Winds from a down rush in front of storm of about 90 mph blew from about 280 degrees. That usually means your south of the center of storm that is moving directly west to east. This one was closer to movin 268 to 88 degrees. I was close to th center of of weak tornado that was 50–150 feet off the ground as my ears popped like they do when I gain the first 50–1150 feet in a place and forget to clear my ears when the pressure dropped and the air rushed out the door way and the 4x8 foot plate glass rattled with about half the nois they make fron the sonic boom from a fighter jet too high to see.I tink it did,it's first structural damage atoundMcElroy and Main. It damaged the lumber yard and tore up some trailer in Stillweter Creek then Stated takinging the second story off the tops of apartments on Perkins Road. The tornado damadpged some home on the east side of town but not to the extent of cheaply built apartments. The ham class in the basement of Chuck's Psint & paper noticed their ears popping as well and a ham on the east edge of town said, "I never saw the needle on a barometer move by its self before".The only damage on the campus was rippine the foamed in place Urathane foam off the roofs of some university buildings. It had been put ther to reduce heating, cooling cost and extend the time between roof repairs. The university is really serious about roof maintance. When I report a ceramic roof tile broken or ot place someone contacts within two days and it's fixed within a week. All the flashing is copper and the buildings built before World War Two have some fo the best roofs, fouhdations and construction I've ever seen. Dad told it took him 10 days to drill a 4 inch hole through 8 inches of concrete with a hammer an rock drill when he was in college her in 1924 over Christmas Break. I've seen him use the same tools to put a 4 in hole in a 4 inch concrete slab poured in the 1950's in an hour. Seems they used granite rather than limestone for gravel and didn't add fly ash and poured so dry it Had to be tamped and vibrated into place. It was probably mixed by hand so it dumped ot wheelbarrows just and didn't need extra water and a retarder so the concrete didn't set up in the truck.
