Medical Standard Description for Indian RailwaysA-1 Physically fit in all respects. Visual Standards —Distance Vision: 6/6,6/6 without glasses. Near Vision: Sn: 0.6,0.6 without glasses (must clear fogging test) and must pass test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision & Night Vision.Other StandardsA-2 Physically fit in all respects. Visual Standards—Distance vision: 6/9,6/9 without glasses. Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 without glasses and must pass test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision & Night Vision.A-3 Physically fit in all respects. Visual Standards—Distance Vision: 6/9,6/9 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 2D). In psychological test TAT is very important. WAT, SRT and SD are confirmatory test. If one can write good stories then they have the maturity to solve situation reaction test.There are certain things to be kept in mind during SRT.Whenever there is wrong act happening like hit and run case, robbery the incident has to be reported to the police (FIR).If the incident is in the area of railways, the incident is to be reported to the railway police.If there is a rescue situation, first thing is to wait for few seconds and plan further action. Use of local resources to be incorporated.The answer should be as real and practical as possible. (Example- called ambulance and saved the victim is not practical. How the ambulance was called? Whether the no. was already known or stored in mobile)Try to find out all the emergency numbers for the local area- police station number, local hospital no., local fire brigade number, local ambulance.To practice SRT, the questions are available on ssbcrack .com.There is an organization in USA called boy scout. They publish all good material on the topic. Search for book by boy scout on pdfdrive .comWrite those things that you yourself know- like if a candidate is a swimmer he can write rescued the drowning person. But, those who don't know swimming cannot write this, but can write alerted the crowed or a person who knew swimming to rescue the victim.Write short sentence using commas. Proper English grammar is not required. (Example- for some SRT related to a victim drowning in water: Answer- calmly and careful alerted nearby crowd without spreading panic, one who knew swimming rescued the person, we dry the victims body with available cloth, give him food/water.)If two work problems are given in the SRT both should be solved. It should not happen that one problem was solved but other problem was forgotten.
