A largish (by industry standards) anime/manga company is rereleasing some very popular classic series. In one case a well-known translator’s name was left off several volumes they worked on, and in another case, that translator’s and another translator’s pre-transition names were used, even after they publicly requested they not be. One of those errors has been a long-lingering wound for the translator.At the same time, there was a egregious error made in a third series all of which combined to make a pretty clear case of LGBTQ erasure by this company. So, I used my platform and wrote a very public letter. I sent it by Twitter, by FB, by online form, on my blog and by email.And hours later, the company, Viz Media, had apologized to the translators, to the public, and said that they will make corrections to every one of the series.I asked for apology and correction and got…apology and correction. THAT is how allying is done. So thank you Michael’s and Viz for doing things right.

Send an email too. More better would be if you can drop by in the office. Do ASAP.---------------------------Regarding the other answers. Well I know everyone is furious about the reservation policy. Even I am. I am General Category student. However it is not this guy to be blamed. It is the government to be blamed and the people who are sitting quietly for this. The guy/gal is just taking advantage of the facility/privilege that he is being provided. Wont you take the opportunity if you had belonged to one of the categories? Wont you ask the same question if you had been in the same situation?This guy is not to be blamed. He needs the help we should. You want to express your grievances then sign a petition/send a letter to PM/make protests/spam FB, etc. But this is a very wrong way that you are not helping a guy/gal who is in need.For every IIT - aspirant this exam matters. Your best friend at home/in IIT may come from category listing. Do you treat him differently? Do you taunt him? Do you say NO if they ask for help?They also help you when you are in need. The one who is worth of showering your anger is the society/the government and not the individual student.So if anybody knows a correct and more better answer/help for this guy/gal please help him/her.
