Ordered a taco salad from the lunch menu.. I asked for extra chicken and a little extra shredded cheese on top. The food was not very good, the service made us feel like we were on an assembly line... rush rush rush rush; When I got my ticket, I was charged $24.00 for the Taco Salad!! The chicken was an extra $6, and cheese was an extra $3...!!! I will never go back! I have never heard of a $24 taco salad, (maybe a at a 5 star restaurant in Dallas)This place is so good! Great Mexican food. Waited 35 minutes, but they are super fast. They had an enclosed porch with a heater so it was a comfortable wait. Friendly waitstaff. Had the chicken fajita enchiladas. So good! They also have a good Dr Pepper! :) Queso and salsa are both very good. UPDATE::: back tonight. Checked in at 6:51, was told 35 minutes. No problem, busy Saturday night. We were sat at 7:44, not a big deal until we asked why two parties, one of 12 and one 14, who were there for maybe 15 minutes, were both sat before us. They said big parties get priority. That is frustrating for this party of 4.Have been here twice now. They serve big meals. A bit pricey but hood food. Their chips and salad are great. Plan to take your time and visit so you can enjoy the food. Go off hours if possible as this is a very crowded place. I've not had to wait because there is a constant turnover of people. This dish is so disappointing and for the price 19.99 is extremely overpriced! I think whoever came up with this dish should go back and do some research on how to make it better, maybe don't throw a hole bottle of ketchup and add real mariscos. Also a splash of clam juice and lemon juice goes a long way.As a out of town guest, the restaurant has always been recommend by our family! Those items don't come complimentary with Your to-go meal order. They charge like $2.50 per side and that isn't the market standard for Tex-mex restaurants in OKC metro. I can't think of one casual Mexican restaurant in town that has this policy. It's annoying and honestly when I get lunch to go during the week I bypass the best Mexican food because I don't like this upcharge for items that are free if you dine in. The food off the menu is consistently good and I have tried everything from ceviche, taco salad, tamales (these were cold though), to spinach and avocado tacos. The inside service is good too - always fast once you are seated usually friendly. Go early at lunch and dinner to avoid the wait.Much like a Ted's Mexican escondido they provide free salsa, queso, tortillas, and pickled vegetables. They have Tex mex and it is very good. I ordered the fajitas and I enjoyed it but don't go unless everyone is trying to get a meal because they will charge you for eating the above mentioned add ons. I've never had to ask for anything, they are always on it before I can even ask for it. I will say that their salsa is not the best ive ever had, but its not the worst. however, their green sauce is not bad at all!If you go to Mexican restaurant you always order Fajitas... NO MATTER WHAT!! Its how you can judge a place IMO. Their fajitas are probably some of the best ive ever tasted, not better than some in Texas, but for sure the best I've had in Oklahoma thus far. I would recommend that if you are going to come on a Friday night or weekend night be prepared to wait 45- to hour long because they are just that busy. This dish was just that ketchup! Thick ketchup! I have never had a siete mares or campechana that it only tasted like ketchup and did I mentioned ketchup? There was hardly any of the traditional garnish (onion and cilantro). The cocktail had mainly shrimp and mussels. The mussels tasted old and the shrimp was rubbery . I found maybe two pieces of octopus, which was over cooked, I think there was some calamari, and big chunks of disgusting imitation crab meat. Oh and a full bottle of ketchup. This dish is so disappointing and for the price 19.99 is extremely overpriced! I think whoever came up with this dish should go back and do some research on how to make it better, maybe don't throw a hole bottle of ketchup and add real mariscos. They give each table salsa, queso, and a green guacamole salsa. The green salsa was amazing, but the queso tastes cheep as it it's from a can. The real kicker to me was that I split a meal with my fiancé after ordering drinks and desserts, but they charge a $7.95 set up fee if you share a meal. I can understand covering the cost of chips salsa/queso but $7.95 seams excessive. Especially considering that they don't even split the shared meal between two plates... There was a short wait. However you could head up to the bar and get delicious drinks and a fantastic greeting from Jacqueline (as I did). I was blown away with professionalism and warm hospitality she offered. My drinks were made quickly and tasted oh so yummy. Once we got to the table the green sauce was super awesome and the salsa / cheese dip went down quickly as I couldn't get enough of it. We looked over the menu and wanted to split an entrée (Chicken fajita burrito)because we didn't want leftovers... however they explained the set-up charge .... Those items don't come complimentary with Your to-go meal order. They charge like $2.50 per side and that isn't the market standard for Tex-mex restaurants in OKC metro. I can't think of one casual Mexican restaurant in town that has this policy. It's annoying and honestly when I get lunch to go during the week I bypass the best Mexican food because I don't like this upcharge for items that are free if you dine in.The food off the menu is consistently good and I have tried everything from ceviche, taco salad, tamales (these were cold though), to spinach and avocado tacos. The inside service is good too - always fast once you are seated usually friendly.
