Unemployment is always big issue in India. For last 30 years, it's more or less same each year.Yes all government including Congress and BJP are always serious about it.Lack of skills and gap of knowledge among young people are the biggest obstacles for employment. Due to this even though there are plenty of jobs, youths are unable to grab it.Government is trying to increase the employability for youth.Example, few years ago government of India launch Skill India program. Target is that 60 lakhs youth will be trained in first phase. As of now only 2.3 millions(23lakhs) youth are being trained.Government has been creating a lot jobs through various programs too. Example, few years ago, government had change the tax structure to GST. Previously only CA, ICWA etc can process taxes for businesses and trade. But after GST, government had launched a programme Registered GST Practitioner. Any graduate can enroll into this program and get licence to process GST after a tough evaluation process. Lacks of job opportunities are there. If we search in Naukri. Com than there is more than 1 lacks job is there.But unemployment is not only government problem. It's people problem too. People also needs to try hard with proper planning. Rather than running behind numbers in universities exam, students needs to improve their skills in job oriented subjects. Unfortunately our youth yet not understand the value of skills. For them good number with degree and certificates are enough for job. Example, if any SME company hire a fresh B. Com Accountancy pass graduate for account management than they will find he does not know to operate Accounting softwares like Tally, Quick book etc. SME does not has scope to train those B. Com students. Many B. Com students does not has clear knowledge in GST or tax saving methods. a B. Com graduate with 55% marks who has good knowledge in Accounting software, tax etc are more employable than a B. Com graduate with 70% mark. Unfortunately youth do not understand that.
What extra courses can I do while studying Bcom specialisation in accounting and taxation?
